Locked A Syracuse Escape Room

This was very fun! My parents and I did the penitentiary room and it was challenging enough but still fun and exciting! Making it out in time definitely helped!

Fun place to go with friends. Recommend having a group no more than 6 ppl.

Just had a wonderful experience at Locked, where we did the escape from the cabin in the woods scenario. Our host was kind and really helped us when we were in a jam without giving away too much. The puzzles were unique and very engaging for both beginner and experienced escape roomers. Plenty of red herrings to keep things fun and interesting! Definitely recommend this place!

Love locked. And and his wife plus all the staff are awesome people. We have done both of their rooms. They are put together very well. Visually cool and they make you think. Cant wait to see what future rooms they create.

This was an awesome escape room. Puzzles were difficult, but all logical. The staff was wonderful. Highly recommend.

So much fun. Let me first preface by saying that my girlfriend and I are both engineers and found the puzzles presented challenging and satisfying. We ran out of time on the last puzzle but thoroughly enjoyed our time in the room. We did the cabin in the woods escape room but plan on coming back with a larger party for the prison escape room. Id recommend this place if youre looking for a fun way to spend your time!

Highly recommend! 2 adults and 6 teenagers! It was definitely tricky, but we made it out alive! Dan was super great! He drove from Rochester just for us! Definitely enjoyed and we will come again!

This was an amazing event! We came to celebrate some birthday and had a lot of fun with Tyler as our host!! We didn t get to finish but we were so close!!! I ll definitely be back!

We were able to solve the room in just under an hour with our family of four. The setup, staff and level of difficulty were all awesome. Thanks Locked Syracuse for a great day!!!

My friends and I are not the sharpest tools in the shed but we still had a great time. Our host Dan did a wonderful job at helping us move forward without just solving the puzzles for us. A difficult task when dealing with 3 people who struggled to open a lock even with the correct code. Thanks Dan!

Amazing experience. Brought my family for Cabin in the Woods. Dan was an awesome game master and kept us moving with great clues. Would definitely recommend!

Not the greatest, puzzles were very unintuitive, and shoddily constructed. Certain locks had to be reset a certain way to be able to enter a code, with no explanation as to how to reset the locks. We spent a good 20 minutes on a puzzle that was not mechanically sound, asked the puzzle master several times if we could bypass this particular portion of the puzzle as it was frustratingly difficult. The room was cramped for 8 people, a smaller max group size would have made more sense. It also was not air-conditioned, so the room grew very uncomfortable quickly. I would not recommend this escape room.

We ve done a number of escape rooms in the past and unfortunately, this was our least favorite. The host interrupted us several times to give us clues unprompted when we felt we hadn t fully puzzled through possibilities enough to request a clue. Additionally, two of the clues in particular were extremely convoluted in a way that seems to be impossible to figure out without guidance. To us, that s a flaw. Clues should be very challenging but not wholly illogical or unconnected to the plot line...
Read full review. Overall, not the experience we were hoping for. Felt unpolished and annoying compared to others that we ve done. Sure, requesting a clue when you re stumped totally makes sense. Love that, but getting MANY without asking because there are such obvious roadblocks demonstrates a flaw in the puzzle itself. If this is your first escape room experience, I can imagine it being great. For folks who ve been elsewhere, you re likely to be disappointed by comparison (This feedback was shared with the business privately prior to posting and received no response which too felt underwhelming in terms of customer service )

Did the cabin in the woods room. One of the most funniest experiences ever !!! The host Dan was so amazing and made the experience more amazing. If you re ever in the area please stop by , it would be worth it so much !!!

I love locked! My friends and I came all the way from Ithaca and had a great time. The themes and sets are really well done. The puzzles are challenging but fun!

We ve done The White Lady s Castle in Rochester and Cabin in the Woods in Syracuse and both rooms were fantastic! We had so much fun and Dan is a great Game Master!

Tyler was great ! Love our time here ! Definetly coming back here !
