Lots of fun for my first time! Worth it & would recommend for anyone looking for things to do in Buffalo. Looking forward to coming back again in the future to try a new room!

First time to a place that does JUST escape rooms and it was worthit!! We were only going to do once but ended up doing 3 of the 4. It was so neat amd Im hooked now!

My group (myself and 3 other people ages 25-32) completed the Power Plant escape room. We have all done multiple escape rooms in the past, but this was our first time here. Booking the room is very easy and the price is reasonable. The lobby and rooms were clean and well maintained. Our host was great - very friendly and gave us clues when we were really struggling. Our escape room had multiple rooms and a mix of traditional locks and other unique ways of opening things. The puzzles had a range of difficulty - some we figured out quickly and others took us a long time. Some of the puzzles were very unique and Ive never seen them before. The rooms were immersive and themed well, but not as flashy as some other local places. This did not take away from our overall experience at all! We were able to complete the Power Plant (29% escape rate) with 4 minutes left after 4 hints. It was such a fun time and we will definitely be back to try another one!

I have to say, this place isnt in the best part of town and when we walked in, the lobby smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. I was worried. But of the 3 escape rooms we did in Buffalo, this one was far & away the best. There was a good mix of lock & non-traditional puzzles. The clues were fair. Puzzles were fun and clever. The atmosphere was great without taking over. It was the most fun. They knew they were there to challenge people and let them solve puzzles and they delivered. I wish we hadnt waited until the last day for this one or we would have done every room. LOVED it. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff and challenging puzzles. Only one person in our group had done an escape room before, so they recommended a slightly easier room than the one we had initially booked, which still only had a 33% success rate. We managed to finish the room with 4 clues and about 2 minutes left on the clock. Would definitely go back.

Took a group of seven people to the jungle room, it was the first time trying an escape room for two thirds of our group. Good news..we made it out on time. Bad news...we needed lots of hints, lol. Definitely a learning curve. That being said, I would reccomend this as a great family adventure or a fun night out with friends. We really enjoyed it! The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome and the puzzles/games were challenging and fun. Looking forward to doing better next time!

4 of us tried the Prison Break 2.0 and the Bank Robbery escape rooms and had a great time! The rooms were very different from each other and both kept with their themes well. We needed a few clues for the Prison Break, and they were delivered only after a few minutes of struggling, then they only helped with the next step, so it still left us plenty of challenge to go. I highly recommend if you have a group of 3 or more and an hour to have fun. They have 4 rooms total and were looking forward to going back for the others, then going again in a month or so when they turn one around into something new.

We did the Prison Break escape room here and it was absolute fun. The staff is super friendly and answered all our queries for us first timers. The game itself was well designed and kept us engaged for the whole 60 mins. Lots of team interaction required for each puzzle and the end result is satisfying. Definitely going back to try out other rooms.

Great escape room!! We did the Power Plant escape room as a group of 3 and had an amazing time! Great puzzles with a huge variety of styles, we will definitely be back!

The Buffalo/Niagara area has very few places that accommodate groups of 2 people south of the international border, and I tried them all. We completed The Castle. This is basically an early second generation escape room with some decent puzzles. We were able to escape the room with only a hint and a decent amount of time remaining. We could have been out 5-10 minutes quicker one of the locks didnt stick. We had the right combo at first...and then tried many others...only to have the gamemaster confirm the right combo...and only for it to continue to fail until I really pulled on it. They will grease it up so its easier for the next group.

Myself and 7 other first timers attempted the Bank Robbery room. The staff was friendly and gave a quick walk through with general tips about problem solving and how the overall experience would work. We got lost a few times along the way and were provided directional clues to steer us back in the right direction. With a little help we escaped in 53 minutes! Highly recommended for team building exercises or a great evening out. We plan to try one of the three other rooms soon.

Our favorite escape room. They have the best puzzles, very well thought out and difficult but fun to solve. They dont have the same money to spend on dress-up, so the rooms and props arent quite as flashy, but it works well enough. Almost took 1 star off (lets call it 4.5 stars) for the parking and location, its kind of near some shady areas but not too bad. But a few blocks away are sketchy. Parking is very limited and cramped but weve never not been able to park there. Staff are always very friendly and work with you to accommodate different situations.

This place is a ton of fun. Grab some friends and try it out! This was our first escape room and we had a blast. The clues are all there, but they dont spell is out for you. If you get stuck on something, you will get a hint. Plus, the free water and pop-corn while you wait is a great perk!

Loved this experience such an amazing time! Very clean and the guy was awesome. It was definitely a challenge and the guy helped us so much! To bad we didnt escape in time! We will definitely be returning!

Awesome experience! Brought my teenage son and his friends for birthday outing and participated as well. We completed the Prison Break with 50 seconds to spare. This was a great experience all around for all ages. The staff was great, the hints were well timed and provided just enough info to keep you thinking but keep you moving! The friendly and attentive staff cannot be understated. I am looking forward to going back to complete the other escape rooms. Highly recommend to all!!! Thank you Buffalo Escape Room, my son still talks about it!

I had an amazing experience at Escape Room Buffalo. I messed up our booking, but the owner came in on his day off to accommodate us. The room was fantastic challenging, immersive, and beautifully designed. Exceptional customer service turned our visit into an unforgettable adventure. Highly recommend! ---

Had a great time doing castle today. Super happy this location offers a room that couples can complete. Hints were distributed at appropriate moments, and it was an awesome puzzle to work through. The woman at the front desk was also very nice

What an awesome experience! We played the Power Plant and got out with seconds to spare. The worker was super helpful and gave us the right hints at just the right time. Some of the locks were a little worn, but we were able to get through it anyways. So glad we did this!

Super fun with good puzzles. All felt solvable and challenging with satisfying solutions. Will go again!

My friends and I have done alot of escape rooms, we did the castle and this was one of the worse rooms we have done. Letters worn off the locks to the point where you couldn t read them and symbols on the props that had nothing to do with the game. The most disappointing part was that we found the final code/key before solving half of the room because we found a switch we were not supposed to find until later - this is just poor game design. I would recommend spending the money elsewhere for a quality room. This place was just old and tired.

My husband and I have done several of the rooms here and have always had a great time! Tonight we did the castle & power plant room and had a blast! Fun puzzles, cool tech, & room design.

A bit more well-loved than other escape rooms but seriously fantastic. This place had some features and puzzles that were sooo cool and very unique. We ended up staying and doing a second room!

We had an excellent experience at Escape Room Buffalo! My husband, myself and our 2 kids (almost ages 9 and 11) went here for my daughters birthday and did the Castle. Both employees we spoke with were friendly and professional, and the waiting room and bathroom were clean. They even made sure we had a place to put our coats. The room had a great atmosphere and was a good level for a family (amateurs). Just mysterious, nothing scary or gory like some places seem to be. The staff watch you on camera...
Read full review and slip clues under the door if youre not progressing on pace. A good game isnt too easy ( boring) or too difficult (frustrating) and this room was perfect. In the end, we ran out of time on the final clue. The kids were very excited about how close we came to escaping, and are already talking about going back to do another one. Cant recommend this place enough.

I did the Brewery room with my family ranging from 7 years old to 65 years old and although we didnt make it out in under 60 minutes everybody had a great time trying! One of the things we really liked was that it was a multi room and the rooms were very spacious (we didnt feel on top of each other the whole time). The puzzles were also really well designed so they were challenging and fun for everybody to work on (even the 7 year old!) We are looking forward to coming back and doing the Prison Escape next week and Time Machine when that room comes out. Thanks again!!

Escape Room Buffalo is a great addition to the area. Its something new and fun to do with family or friends. Our family went together recently and did the brewery themed room. It was a new experience for us, and we absolutely loved it! It was challenging but not so hard that it was frustrating. We made it out with five minutes to spare! The staff members were professional and very friendly, and the facility was clean with an inviting atmosphere. I would highly recommend this escape room above all others in the area. We cant wait to go back soon and check out the new rooms!

This is an excellent escape room business. Weve been to 13 total, and while thats not a ton, weve been around enough to appreciate the time and ingenuity that Escape Room Buffalo puts into their rooms. Set, decor, puzzles, and story all flow together and make sense. Theyre also some of the more difficult rooms that weve done, though theyre definitely not too hard. Thanks for a great experience!

While in town for the holidays, we did the Brewery room. Prior to playing the game, we had a nice lunch in the group/holiday room, and then got locked in! We were able to escape with one second left on the clock -- impressive because we had a 10 month old and 3 year old helpers. We needed to use more clues than I thought we needed - it is challenging! Great fun and a great way to spend some quality time with family!

Great experience for our family of 4 (mom, dad, and two teens). Many puzzles, was hard at times, but not too hard on others, and we worked together. We were able to solve with a couple of hints. We will definitely be back.

Its amazing the levels are fun and interesting, and the puzzles are incredibly well thought out. If youre looking for an escape room I HIGHLY recommend this place, its affordable, charming and honestly the best escape room Ive been too!

When you go here expect nothing but the best. I have been to almost all the rooms they have to offer and each time I am reminded of why I go there. The puzzles are always fun and challenging, the rooms are carefully put together, and the staff is always friendly.
