Omg this escape room was sooooo much fun!! We had such an amazing time at this location. It was perfect. This is my second room Ive ever been to and I must say if you are up for brain teasers nd all that good stuff, this is the place to go. You will surely get your creative juices flowing when it comes time to crack the codes. Its sooo worth it. I got ours on groupon for about 40+ bucks for the two of us. It was myself and my son and he said he had a really great time as well. The room we did was...
called the sweet shop and it was sooo much fun. he keeps telling me he wants to go back and so going back it will be. On the other hand, the attendant was cool, down to earth.. not over bearing.. but welcoming to say the lease. Anyway, go here and have fun with your friends family by yourself.. who ever haha but just go!!!

We went to this place for my daughters birthday and chose Alice Wonderland room. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. It was not very modernized nor fancy but had great pleasure for a family activity.

Really didn t enjoy ourselves. We think we re decently smart but couldn t get even started. It s so arbitrary that there s no way to start the Game Room escape without clues. Quiet disappointed. For $70 for two people I would think it would be more interactive, up-to-date, interesting. Instead we were met with a room with games from the 80 s. A CD disc to play and not having fun for the 40 minutes of the hour we tolerated. Plus a star for a nice staff and it seems clean.

Weve enjoyed a couple of these rooms with our children, this was the first time in Franklin Square. We have a mix of older and younger children, so have split up in rooms lately. I took the Littles this time around and the staff were nice enough to give us a little extra time to get more of the room solved. We had an Alice in Wonderland theme and the room was clean and well organized. We look forward to our next experience here or at their Rockville Centre location.

Kid-friendly place with several escape room options in one building. We went to the Sweet Shoppe room and it was extremely challenging, but we made it out with 2 minutes to spare. The staff was helpful and friendly. We plan to go back and try another room, soon. My 8-yr old nephew loved it as much as the adults.

Super fun. They go fully out with the decor, it s cool, it makes you feel like you re there. The medium to hard rooms are sooo hard for just an hour. I suggest to start of easy. Overall I had a great time and the guy who works there is super cool and sweet. Forgot his name but yea . I d go back for sure

I planned our son s 24th birthday here and we had a great time! The challenge was so intense but we did it, we escaped the Wild Wild West!! So much fun, very interactive and each challenge got harder and harder but this only made us stick together as a team! The staff was so great as well!!

Been here before. Did the cupcake at first. This time we did the killer countdown. Oscar the host was amazing. My aunt loves horror so she really loved this room we got for her. 100% recommend.

It was said on the site that it was a medium/hard. It was definitely one of that hardest escape rooms we have ever done as a family. We did Psycho Next Door. I dont know what had us stumped so much but I felt as a family we normally do much better but with all the boxes and locks I think we were just overthinking it while in the 2 rooms. I would come back to try the other escape rooms here

Oh it was so much fun!!! I really enjoyed the room we did- The Unsolved Case. I took my Neice for her 15th birthday. It was her first time doing an escape room and she fell in love. We ll definitely be back.

Don t go there if you have allergy. It was very dirty there, I am allergic to dust and till the end of the day I didn t feel good after the escape room. The sweet shop room is small but it was fine for 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 kids, the only issue was that it was too stuffy. It was hard to figure out in which order you need to go to open boxes, the tasks inside are interesting, but no logical structure from the beginning to the end (at least for us). Thanks for the assistants who gave us more than 3 clues and at some point we got engaged into the game ) The game itself is fun if it would be a little bit structured and of course if the room would be vacuumed, all items which you are supposed to touch would be cleaned.

Bought the tickets as a gift for my family. They had a great experience, and found Back to the 80s room very creative!

Visited for my daughters 11th birthday. We did the Sweet Shoppe. It was so much fun and our gamemaster Jonathan was very helpful. Would definitely return.

I have never left a review for anything. So that says alot that I am leaving a review. First and foremost, one of the staff members showed no motivation. For a place that promotes fun, at least show a little effort. The room was extremely warm. No air flowing. Anyways, i can keep going but I will reserve myself. I hope the company gets better.

Not that great of an experience. There was no explanation or story to the room. We were in the Virus room which was dark for no reason. An hour is definitely not enough time to solve the clues. We found the last key first which supposedly was not to be found first. It was very confusing. Needed better directions. Not worth the money.

We had a great time, and the woman who was the game master gave us five hints and we did end up, escaping by guessing the last lock and she explained how to unlock it the right way. The only thing I would say is getting there was a little confusing. It is not located on Hempstead turnpike. It s located on a side street or at least the entrances but other than that it was a great experience.

We had a great time! It was a great experience overall. This is really an activity to activate your cognitive skills it is also a great way to work together with your friends or family. This was our first time experiencing the the challenges of the escape room. We are already planning our next visit. One downside is that the room was a bit small for six people also, it was very hot in the room. The host was very gracious and helpful.

This was my second time at Challenge, but my first time in the Franklin Square location. It was so much fun! We chose the Medium-Hard room, which was the hardest one they offered, and only got halfway through, but that was totally our fault. I went with a couple of friends who had never been to an escape room before and they both agree that its something we definitely have to try again. Even when our time ran out, the employees walked us through the rest of the room and explained how we could have beaten it. Super amazing experience!

Attempted the Psycho Next Door room and had a great time !!! It was one of their hardest rooms and we definitely felt how challenging it was instantly, but we had a wonderful staff member helping us throughout our reserved time. She explained all the instructions clearly and thoroughly and we would return to this specific location just because of her making our experience so great !!! The room itself had clever clues and was well organized and we cant wait to come back and try one of their other rooms !

I don t leave negative reviews for anything but as someone who frequents many escape rooms I would not recommend this to anyone. It is out of date and completely boring. It looks very dingy and the aesthetic doesn t aid to the experience at all. For something that is on par price with advanced escape rooms this one isn t worth the money.

I took my 11 year old and friends. Very nice staff. But, it really was too difficult for kids even though it was rated easy. The young man working was extremely nice to the kids. Would have been even more fun with older kids. Creative room, a little too dark.

This was our 2nd time doing an escape room and we loved it! We went to the Rockville Centre location first and came to the Franklin Square location today. Rich was assisting us today and also happened to assist us our first time and he was amazing! Thoroughly explained everything to us and was extremely kind. We escaped The Game Room our first time and also escaped Sweet Shoppe today. We ll be back next weekend :)

We did the Challenge Escape Rooms this past weekend on June 19th. We booked 2 rooms- The Sweet Shop and The Underwater Room. Our party had 13 people (5 adults and 8 children, ages 7-12). We all had a really fun time. The staff was super friendly!

This was the best escape room Ive been to! I went with a few friends and we all had a great time. We did the Psycho Next Door room and it was definitely challenging but not too hard at all. Cant wait to try the other rooms!

It was so fun. This is the third time we do an escape room. We did killer countdown this time and it was so fun and we won! The staff was friendly. The room was clean and they definitely follow the CDC Covid protocol which was really good and made us feel safe.
