Hoodwinked Escape New York

If you are looking for an adventurous night with friends or family out of the normal routine you are in the right place. I loved every minute of the concept, the decor and the history behind the themed rooms. I had so much fun. The laughs, the team effort and actually making it out was all worth the trip.

Wonderful staff, great decor. The Harlem Renaissance room was amazing. We had a fabulous time.

It was fun, a good neighborhood place. I wouldve given it 5 stars but on my visit we had two parts of the room malfunction and that delayed us solving the puzzle. The staff was great about it, but I wouldve like for everything to work on the first try.

Something different for entertainment using your brain. Family fun for all ages! Come with a group of friends or make it a date night with your significant other and play all of the rooms. The biggest factor is that it is Black Family owned and operated professionally ! I had a blast! cant wait to escape another room!

The place gives you a vibe thats truly unique; as soon as you step into the space, you get that spooky/homey vibe thats truly essential to any escape room that you go to. Feeling comfortable but into the story is what many people go to escape rooms for, and thats exactly what they give you at Hoodwinked Escape. The escape rooms were also so great. I cant say much, because I only went to one room, but if that one room is that awesome then I cant imagine how mega-awesome the other rooms are. Another thing is that the rooms dont give you the true sense of being competitive or trying to beat a record, in the end you come out filled with joy after an hour of fun. This was a fabulous place to stop by!

The was one stop on my bday celebration weekend and my group and I had a great time. The staff was very helpful, attentive, and fun. I suggest everyone visit and experience and Esacpe room with Hoodwinked. FYI: My team made it out in the nick of time and did not get Hoodwinked!

I went with a group of 4 and we had a blast. Ive experienced other escape rooms and this was by far the best. An added bonus was that we beat the clock (We were in the easiest room).

Awesome experience in a Black-owned business. We walked in and were able to get a room to escape. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Cant wait to return and do the other three rooms!

Great place for local entertainment. Staff is very warm and welcoming. The Asylum mission was very challenging and fun. Looking forward to visiting again.

A great experience, various rooms, staff super fun and acxomodating, its okay to be loud, they provide lockers for your belongings while trying to escape . I will return!!

Fun class trip! Did the Harlem themed room and it was fantastic. Super clever, all of my students had a fantastic time.

Great entertainment place for groups of family or friends. Several escape rooms with varying degrees of difficulty. We got hoodwinked in the Spy Academy though

The ENTIRE family enjoyed it!!! The host/owner was a pleasure to work with. I must be honest it isn t easy but completely worth the challenge. Booked 3 different rooms/ experiences for a kid party and the adults and kids loved it! Prices affordable. Give it a try. Xtra points 4female/minority owned business !

We had a great time. We attended as a small group from our church. Great team building, enthusiastic staff, great ambiance and rooms. Felice was such an kind &hosptiable host to us all. We loved it, I DEFINITELY recommend to go, especially as a group!

I am actually shocked at how low low low low quality of customer service experience I had at this place. From the moment we stepped through the door no one was even there, we looked around awkwardly for someone to ask what we were there for... Ugh perhaps our reservation?! No hello, no smile, no thank you for choosing us. Nothing.... Lets keep in mind this was a Thursday night and no one else was there. Definitely not the most informative and involved staff during the process. They dont motivate or keep u involved or engaged... Its not that type of place. A room, 5 clues, dont ask anything... And if u do Ill get attitude.... Left what was supposed to be a fun experience a bit annoyed so needless to say we wont be back or recommending this place. Shocked as Harlem usually gives me loving vibes but not today, not here. Not a goodbye, not a come again, not a nothing. Good riddance to you too Hoodwinked, thats how u made us feel as well. Went here with a few friends had an amazing time! Definitely recommended it! The staff was great. I plan on go back to do the other rooms.

I highly recommend Hoodwinked Escape. We did the Spirit of Harlem Escape Room experience and it was phenomenal; we got out just in time. I also used the occasion to surprise my girlfriend with a marriage proposal. She said Yes. I am grateful to the staff of #hoodwinkedescaperoom, the Operation assistant, Lissette, and the owner, Michele, for making the event a success. Thank you!
