PuzzleWorks Escape Co. St Paul

My dream time (all family) took on the challenging Nightmare at the Museum. Weve done 50+ escape rooms to date and this one takes the top 3 overall favorite! WE had chills, thrills, and frills! It was so much fun! Our game master Nicko did a fantastic job with setting the story line, to you did it, great job! This room was full of twists and turns. We absolutely loved it and were talking about it over the next two days! We have now (successfully) completed all escape rooms that Puzzleworks has to offer! We all hope to be back in Thanksgiving and we were told there should be a new room for us to tackle then. We cant wait!

You could tell by our escape time with nine minutes to spare that Nico did a great job providing the right amount of clues for us in The Dungeon. The room was a fun mix of being a bit spooky, smart puzzle design, and bringing participants together to solve.

Amazing experience. It was our first time as a family, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and supportive. Will was perfect for our first outing; he created a great mood but also was mindful of the fact that we were with younger children. The room itself (The Hospital) was incredible. The attention to detail was impressive, and there were enough puzzles to keep us all engaged. Highly, highly recommended!

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!! My friend and I did two rooms (The Bank and The Hospital) and they were both amazing. Andi ran our rooms and she was phenomenal. When we asked for clues, she gave the perfect ones. We found The Bank to be the perfect amount of challenging for the two of us as relatively experienced players. Read full review recommended to do the hard version of it. That s not a bad thing though!!! The room was set up EXTREMELY well and the puzzles were so satisfying . Everything stayed on theme for both experiences and they honestly went above and beyond to make the rooms immersive and enjoyable. We will be back!!!

The Vault was a fun and exciting escape room. The puzzles were challenging, but not impossible, and our game master, Ryan, gave us just the right hints when we were really stumped. Andi was our game master and she was great! She set the scene for us and was super enthusiastic about it. It was a super fun room. We did Haunted Museum and that was a scary but fun room. I ve done over 15 escape rooms and this is one of the top ones for me in this area. I will be returning! Thank you Andi and the puzzle works staff for such a welcoming and fun first experience!

We loved the Dungeon room! It felt like just enough of a challenge for our group with several very creative puzzles. Andi was a wonderful game master who did a great job setting the scene and helped us out when we were struggling at the end without giving too much away.

We had a great time for a family birthday outing. Kim did a great job assisting us, providing little nudges and hints when needed. The Dungeon was just the right level for our group. It was challenging but fair. We had a great time and will look into going again to try another room.

I and the rest of our group of four greatly enjoyed our time at Puzzleworks. We did the hospital level, and despite our lack of escape room experience, we managed to finish in 57 minutes (partially thanks due to a get hints to steer us in the right direction from our wonderful host Andi). Would recommend to anyone already interested in escape rooms, people who are entirely new to them, or anyone looking for an enjoyable activity on a rainy day.

Love the rooms here. We did Loose Sleuth and the Vault back to back. With just two of us both rooms were quite challenging but luckily we had a great game master that helped guide us to victory both times. thank you very much Karen! Highly recommend Puzzleworks who enjoy escape rooms with a challenge !

We all had a really good time! We did the hospital room, and it was super fun and definitely very challenging, but we made it out! Our game master, Andi, was really helpful, especially when we had some technical issues. And Andi also did a really good job explaining the room and she really added to the whole experience!

We had a phenomenal time at PuzzleWorks! The rooms we did were very fun and a good level of challenging even for our small group! Andi ran our rooms and she was absolutely fantastic. We re looking forward to coming back!

I organized a group of 33 friends in 4 rooms, and everyone had a blast. From puzzle-masters to newbies, it was fun for all! We love Puzzleworks. My family and I have now done three of the four current rooms, and we re excited for the fifth one to open up soon. Collin, our gamemaster, was great and helpful, but knows the balance of only helping if needed. Nick, the manager, was SO helpful and accommodating while trying to organize such a big group on a busy Saturday evening. Thanks for a super fun night out Puzzleworks!!

Me and my friends did the sleuth room (one of their hardest rooms), and we had a great time! We needed a lot of hints at the beginning, and their employee Collin was super helpful in helping us out. Even though we didn t finish in time, it was a super great experience. Would highly recommend!

Ryan was a great host. We did the vault room as a family of 6. This was our 3rd escape room we ve ever done and it was full of puzzles and surprises!! Awesome experience, would 100% go back and do another room! Made it out with only a few minutes to spare.

We had a great time at PuzzleWorks. We choose the more challenging room but still enjoyed ourselves as we tried to figure out clues. Our host, COLLIN, was awesome. He was able to give us some hints when we asked without revealing exactly how to do it. Great fun, great staff, great experience.

Absolutely amazing room! I did the Night at the Museum and I can safely say the room was one of the most interactive, high tech, and cool rooms I ve ever done. Our game master, Nick, was extremely accommodating and fun. He did a great job making our experience one to remember!

I was surprised by my daughters in arriving to the building where the Puzzle Works Escape Co. lives. This is an experience like no other. I thouroughly enjoyed the one hour experience in: The Vault Andi was our monitor and very amusing. What an amazing escape room! Nico welcomed us with great jokes and a big smile. The room was very well kept. What a fun way to spend our Mother s day, I highly recommend for all families. We will definitely be back to play the other rooms!

Had an amazing time. My group did the hospital escape room and had so much fun. We can t wait to go again! Big thanks to Colin (not sure if i m spelling his name right)! He was so friendly and helpful and let us know that we accidentally solved the puzzle for the last room. Definitely made us feel like detectives.

So much fun. Highly recommend! Three friends and the haunted doll museum (first timers) It was the perfect amount of spooky and interesting. Nico was a fantastic host/guide. They provided the excellent clues (not too complicated and not too easy.) We can t wait to try another room!

Went here with a group of friends, had an absolute blast!! We did the Dungeon, which had an amazing medieval vibe. Fun puzzles, we definitely had to work together to get stuff right, but it was so satisfying to have those little ah-ha! moments. We finished with only 6 seconds to spare lol, but we did it. Our game master, Ryan, was super funny and gave great hints. 10/10 would escape again!

My sister, daughter and her friend had a blast trying to escape The Hospital ! So much fun - challenging, but doable. Andi was a great helper and made things that much more fun! Definitely recommend!

Great place for a fun time! My coworkers and I came here for some team bonding. Our team did the Hospital room and I loved all the puzzles they had! Our GM Laura was very helpful!

We did the Nightmare at the Museum room, which I personally found terrifying, but I still highly recommend! Our game master Brianna was phenomenal and gave us a few clues during our room. We survived and will be back for sure!

We had a great experience at puzzle works! Our game master Andi was the absolutely BEST. We did the haunted room and she was our support system the entire game. We recommend for everyone to try it once and hopefully get Andi as their game master to make the escape room experience even better.

This was a great time! I went with 6 of my family members and we did the Sleuth room. Everyone had a chance to pitch in and solve puzzles to figure out how to escape, and it was really fun! Nico, our gamemaster, did a great job of explaining how everything worked. There was never a moment when we were stuck on something for too long. I definitely recommend it for a fun time!

Played the Sleuth room with Collin as our GM and had a great time! The room was very fun and challenging for three people- barely made it out! Collin was great, gave perfectly worded hints that didn t just give away the solution.

Ryan was great -- and kindly agreed to our odd request of receiving an in-game joke. His clues got us back on track and overall it was a great experience! We will be back. They also just started a room pass for a discount to tackle of of their rooms!
