Had an amazingly fun day here! The room was challenging, engaging, and well thought out. We did a group of 5 and while a little crapped it was still a great time. I would recommend for celebrations or events. The rooms that move are the best and dont move so much or in a way that makes you nauseated. There also a button to stop the room from moving just in case.

We had an amazing time at the Escape Artist. Our group has done both of the motion escape rooms and had a blast with it! The submarine one was fun and beautiful. The 13th floor has great puzzles. We really enjoyed both. Were looking forward to trying the other two rooms.

The 13th Floor was a lot of fun! The puzzles were great! They don t lead you on a wild goose chase. Great way to spend an evening. We enjoyed it so much we went back today for another room!

One of our favorite things when we travel is trying local escape rooms. Our sons love it and we love spending time with them doing things they enjoy. We did the 13th floor and it was so fun! I wont give too much away but we travel in an elevator that you must escape before reaching the 13th floor. The elevator moves and really added to the experience for us. We escaped with a little over 20 minutes left on our time. The puzzles are not too difficult but we did get stuck and asked for help once. The help was just right without totally giving it away. We had a great time and wish we could try the other rooms like the submarine one. If you like escape rooms this is a fun stop!

Edit: Came back for Atlantis. There were some tech issues with a broken sound bar that took away from the experience, as well as starting 30 minutes late. Our GM was as accommodating as possible but the tech was not there to back her up. The room itself was super fun and the set design was nice. Compared to spell struck, I think they are both a lot of fun and would probably give the edge for Spell Struck because of the tech issues we faced. Without tech issues, this could be a really great room...
! Did the Spell Struck room and it was great! The rooms were very thematic throughout and the introduction was wonderful. There are some fun surprises and the puzzles were enjoyable with many feeling familiar if you have some experience, while others having unique mechanics. The room was somewhere in the middle of non-linear and linear. There are parts with multiple things to work on and others with 1 main task, thus it is probably best for 3-4 players. It did seem that they were short-staffed as we were a bit rushed out of the room. The photo area after had no thematic props whatsoever. Overall I would put this room in the upper ~25% of rooms I have done and I highly recommend it!

This was such a delightful experience! It was my partner and I first escape room and I m SO glad we chose this one. The workers really got into character which made it even more fun. We will definitely be gong again. I wish I could give it more than five stars tbh

Did the spell struck room with 3 of us. The room was great! The puzzles were fun and the ambience was nice. The staff was very friendly. If you re a group of seasoned escape room goers, would say this specific room was on the easier side and I wouldn t necessarily recommend doing it with too many more people. 3 was honestly a great number. Overall, would highly recommend this place!

UNIQUE, FUN AND POSITIVE FULL-MOTION ESCAPE ROOM EXPERIENCE WHILE VISITING SEATTLE FROM ABROAD! What a fun and positive experience my daughter and I had solving the 13th Floor at The Escape Artist in Seattle. After doing extensive research on the best adventure we thought we could have as two escape-room enthusiasts visiting Seattle, WA, USA from Quito, Ecuador, South America, we chose this unique, full-motion experience. It did not disappoint! We hope to be able to return to visit someday and HIGHLY recommend The Escape Artist to locals and visitors alike.

This was one of the most fun and interactive escape rooms we ve done. The set up was challenging and the puzzles were interesting concepts. Our game master Joey was a great character and stayed in character throughout any interactions. There s a few jump scares and whoa lawdy what a good time!

Over the last few years have managed to do all the rooms with family, friends, or on dates. Weve probably done 10+ other escape rooms, and these are still some of our favorites. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. The owners clearly put a lot of energy into making a great experience and maintaining it. We feel fortunate to have this gem in our backyard. Thank you!

Very fun experience. My group has done about 5-6 rooms before and this one had very high standards. We did the Trapped in Space room. The story was very thorough and the rooms decorations were top notch. Puzzles were pretty straight forward. If you have experience then this room might be a bit easier. We escaped with 19 minutes left. There was one puzzle that gave a bit of trouble but overall it was a very positive experience. We will definitely be back! Cant wait to try out a full-motion room.

Fantastic! We had such a great time! The room was hard enough to make you work for it. But not so hard you would get overwhelmed. You could always ask for help if you got stuck, and their are subtle hints if you pay attention. It was great and I 100% will go back to try another room soon! Thanks for a great time Escape Artist!

Great escape room experience. We were unfortunately super late to our experience due to traffic. The staff was so understanding and willing to help and figure out how to have the best experience and delivered completely on their part. The room itself was super fun and intricate with great hands-off experience, but with clues available when we were stuck.

Host was very kind and entertaining. Puzzles were fun and intuitive. I can not sound more robotic than right now, but I am not a robot. Genuinely had a good time.

600th Review: We did the lost in space escape room, and the puzzle was amazing. Decorated perfectly, and engineered and coded perfectly. Just remember. These people are smarter than you think. Everything does something. I highly recommend coming here. You need to park on the side of the road. The office is inside a building full of suites. Its in the first floor, down the hall. I just wanted to say that in one part of a puzzle, they used two fully fledged computer motherboards for decor. Top notch.

We did the Dive to Atlantis room and it was our favorite we ve done yet anywhere. We love to do escape rooms on vacations and this was probably our 10th or so. This room moved fast with lots of entertaining puzzles and the motion effect was awesome. Staff was super friendly and helpful!

Excellent immersive experience with so many little details that truly makes the price worth it. The staff there are super nice and understanding. Would recommend booking a room with them!

My partner and I had such a blast at the Escape Artist while visiting Seattle from Canada!! We LOVEEE escape rooms but we find it really hard to find affordable 2-person bookings in the states. Not only was The Escape Artist super affordable for a group of 2 players but the value for our money was fantastic! I also loved that the website mentioned there rooms weren t horror-based, as I m apprehensive about the level of spookiness when we try new escape rooms. The experience as a whole was made absolutely better by our game master, Cynthia. They were knowledgeable, in character, fun, professional, and happy to help when we wanted a few extra photos on our phones! We can t wait to come back and try other rooms next time we re in Seattle

The Escape Artist is SUCH a fun time. Ive played Trapped in Space, Dive to Atlantis and Spellstruck, and each time it has been so immersive, creative and surprising. Dive to Atlantis is definitely the most unique escape room Ive ever seen and my top recommendation. My tips for getting the most out of your experience: - Take 5 people max (even though some of the rooms allow more, weve found having a party of 5 adults gives everyone a satisfying amount of puzzling to do) - Look up minimal information...
about the rooms online to maximize surprise - Come with a little role-playing in your heart to really enjoy the themes of each room - Decide if youd like the hosts to be proactive in offering clues before you start, and let them know. If anything, Ive found theyre a little too generous in sending you clues so if you dont want that, just tell them Its a great adult birthday experience (teenagers would probably enjoy as well!). An A+ addition to West Seattle!

My 16yo daughter and her14yo best friend did the 13th Floor puzzle. They came out of their room giggling and laughing, and asking to do it again! The staff is super friendly and they do a great job of helping their clients get through their puzzles (if they need help). The girls said their room looked so real, and they loved that their elevator moved! We will DEFINITELY be back! Thank you for a wonderful experience, The Escape Artist staff!

Absolutely loved our experience at the escape artist. It was just my wife and I and we attempted Spell Bound. It was a little bit to big of a room to get through all the data to solve the mystery. But it was still very awesome and totally something we will do again. Recommend a group of four people to conquer Spell Bound.

Very fun time and challenging! My wife and I have done two rooms and love it. A little expensive but worth it in the end.

Rose was an awesome Game Master! She was very cheerful and I really appreciated when she chimed in with tips unprompted, they were helpful and reassured me that she was observing our game closely. The submarine experience was probably my favorite escape room Ive ever done! The puzzles felt very well laid out, and my group never was idling as a whole -- there was always progress to be made. The only small suggestion we had was that it would be nice if the puzzles were more parallelizable...
(there a few moments where it was just a few of us waiting for the others to solve a puzzle before moving on); but that did not kill our momentum or our fun! We almost accidentally made the leaderboards too (only 2 minutes off ). Also the wheel turning for one of the final interactions could be better (they are well aware of this though). Very fun, would recommend!

Julie was our escape master and she was awesome! My wife and I love escape rooms and this one was legit! The Baldwin Manor room was pretty intense! We escaped with 2 minutes left and my wife had a great time!

Ive played over 40 escape rooms up and down the west coast. The Escape Artists (Submarine Room) is one of my favorite escape rooms in Seattle!

This was our 3rd time at the Escape Artist. We did the Spell Struck room with 3 people & it was a lot of fun! The room set the mood well & the puzzles were engaging. We only needed help twice & got out with 4 minutes to spare! I suggest at least 3 people to do this one. We have done 13th floor & Trapped with just 2 people in the past & that was manageable. In general, dont be afraid to ask for a hint if you get stuck, because some of the puzzles are pretty involved & some clues are hard to notice. Plus you are more likely to escape & its much more fun if it keeps moving. The staff was in character & helpful. I highly recommend this!!
