Escape Room NJ Pompton Lakes

We had a group of 3 with Veronica. We had a ton of fun and it was scary but not super terrifying. We were pretty new to escape rooms so our pace was pretty slow but in order to keep us from having no idea how to proceed we got lots of help and were able to finish. Veronica was very pleasant and was very thorough in her explanations.

Veronica was great!!! She welcomed me and my group and made sure everybody was ready and comfortable for the escape room. We all had a great time working together as a team and solving the mystery. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Will come back again soon.

Veronica is the best game master and we had so much fun! Definitely going back for the other escape rooms. EDIT: Went back again and Veronica continues to be the best GM ever!

It was such a scary and fun escape room. Veronica was such a great assistance and kept me calm lol. Looking forward to coming back for the next scary one (I promise not to scream too loud.)

First time here and did the hardest room, was definitely a challenge for our group but was so much fun. Veronica was a great game .aster was so helpful!

Great experience! I had a party of 8 people in the room, and Kevin, our gamemaster, was extremely patient and helpful when we were in the room! We finished with 15 minutes left- the rooms were very well done and the puzzle was also very clever. Thank you Kevin!

It was great! Me and my four friends went and did the Awaken room as the scary version. It definitely kept us on edge. Although some other reviews are pretty brutal, we really liked it. While it might be a little hard to find, or not a super professional set up, that didn t really matter because we all had a great time, it was a creative story, there were a lot of puzzles to solve, and our game master Tom was helpful, kind, and very chill. If you re looking for a chill and fun experience with some laughs, this is a good place!

Veronica was amazing! Super friendly, super helpful and really thorough. She was completely passionate about her work and she was a pleasure!

Highly recommend if you are in the area! Our game master ,Veronica, helped without giving away too much information! We did the horror version of The otherside: Room 401 , and it genuinely felt like something out of a murder mystery movie; quite terrifying to say the least. Ominous and eerie feels were always present, and whatever was around the corner built up a nerve-racking anticipation. Again, Veronica was amazing, and I highly recommend!

Veronica was a great game master! Had a great time at the awaken escape room they were having this summer. If you re parking in the back, make sure you park on the opposite side of the school. (Right side from the street)

Veronica provided exceptional assistance, thoroughly explaining all the details. We celebrated my best friends birthday, and the experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

Veronica did amazing as a game master. She was super energetic and in character. Today we did The Interview . It was a well done room with some super cool puzzles. Thanks for having us.

We just went with my husband and it was an amazing experience. We did the S.W.A.P diffuse the bomb. If you choose this one I recommend practicing your riddles haha. Karen was our game master and she was awesome. Totally recommend!

My family and I did the Awaken room and it was challenging but fair. Our game master Tom made it an unforgettable experience and I highly recommend giving it a shot!

PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS ESCAPE ROOM LOCATION (Pompton Lakes, NJ). IT WAS INSANELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND FILTHY. I don t know who any of these people are leaving positive reviews lol. This place was so far from worth the $140 for two people. We could ve paid the $25 for the non-private room and saved money, cause honestly ain t nobody else booking this place. We were the only two customers there. The location is a literal dump. Difficult to find. The banner draping the storefront they tell...
Read full review you to look for is up on the top floor in a horizontal window. Looks like a horror movie. We thought we werent going to survive just stepping off the elevator. As the doors opened, we were met with a giant trash bin blocking the elevator door and the creepy hallway. A man on the left in what seemed to be a janitor s room asked us what we were looking for. Thought he was a construction worker. Turns out he worked there Never saw him again after he went to get the three teenagers who were in charge . We conducted our business in this messy room, (which I assume was the prop room), took my ID and credit card s last 4 digits, wrote it on a receipt pad and had me sign it but I already paid online. We were let down a dingy hallway to a broken door, told the quick summary of the game (which did not match the storyline we booked), and were sent through that door into another short hallway with a broken door on the left, and what we assumed was the door to the room on the right. The second we walked through the door, the Game master began to tell us literally every step of the game WHILE we were playing it. He was a really nice guy, but doesn t seem to know the point of an escape room. He told us every clue. Look here. Look there. Do this, do that. Now go here . While we were playing, he randomly walked in the room, scaring the pants off us. He came to help . Such a waste of money and should be shut down, honestly. The room didnt even resemble, in the slightest bit, the storyline for Awaken. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. This was the most expensive one we have ever done. I cant believe it. Tom, our game master, was as nice as can be, but whoever owns this joint needs to be shut down.

This was a great escape room! I went here with a couple of friends and we successfully escaped! Veronica was very helpful and friendly! Would definitely recommend coming here for a fun night with friends.

Tom was our game master for Room 40! He great during our experience! Not only did he scare us, he was patient as we struggled through some of it but we were able to finish it!

Alex did a great job with jump scares and helping with directions for the clues. It was very fun and a great experience!
