Cipher Seeker Escape Room Challenge Waldwick

Had my daughters 12th Birthday party over the weekend and everyone had an amazing time, Dave was a great host and game master. Amazing place, def. reccomend others to try.

One of the best escape room experiences I ever had!!! We were a group of 4 people with quite a bit experience in escape rooms, but this was still a challenge and a lot of fun! So many details and clues to solve! We just loved it! We did the Dr. Jones room, we will definitely have to come back to do the other rooms. Dave was very friendly and helpful. Location is nice and quiet, clean and welcoming. Prices are reasonable. Thanks!

I went here with friends to celebrate a birthday. We did the Framed on and it was awesome! We were able to escape, but with less than 2 minutes left so it was perfect. You can get hints if you need, which definitely helps if youre stuck.

They were very accommodating and pleasant to work with. My daughter celebrated her 13th bday here with 8 friends. They did the defcon room, which means they have to save the world. They had a blast! I would have liked some props for pics that say we escaped or we saved the world or we did it!

This was awesome! We went as a family - my husband, my two daughters and I - and we had a terrific time. It was challenging but not too hard that it was frustrating. Dave was a great ... he was kind and welcoming and gave us clues when we needed them. We cant wait to go back!!!

3 themes to choose from with various difficulties. I went here with my son for a 10 year old birthday party and went back the very next day with my wife and kids. So much fun and the owner/game master Dan is a pleasure to deal with. My daughter liked it so much, we are going to book her birthday party here. Definitely a 5 star place. Highly recommend.

Staff was friendly, rules where straight forward. We where told up to 10 people could participate in a group however with the room my group of 3 did it was clear the room could not accommodate anymore than 6 people comfortably. As for the room the challenges where fun and engaging. However i personally found the event to be to linear for my taste. Overall Id still recommend this place to others, I know ill be returning here again.

Amazing experience. Very interesting room, doable, but takes a lot of effort and team work. Truly enjoyed it, kids (11yo) were super excited, very pleasant host. Definitely recommend for family/friends fun time!

Excellent experience. Challenging, but so much fun. Loved the effort put into the storyline, but just random puzzles to solve. It all combined together into an intriguing mystery that made sense! Everything was clean, all of the puzzles were well made and the staff - AMAZING! So friendly and excited and supportive! Will definitely be back.

I have been going to cipher seeker for years now and it is by far my favorite escape room place to go to! Dave is so welcoming and so enthusiastic which is the best and only way to be for a fun event like this!! ai have come with all different ages, family, friends, coworkers. It is truly the best place to just have fun and let loose while also trying to solve insanely fun puzzles.

This is my second time coming to Cipher Seeker and it has been nothing but excellent both times! The establishment was very clean and everyone was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! We will be back!!!!

Our group had a great experience at Cipher Seeker. Dave, the game master, was very good and the room was very well designed with a good mix of puzzles and locks that supported the story. Appreciated Dave accommodating my group the way he did and will definitely hope to return to try the other rooms!

I brought my co-workers to try the escape room as a team building experience and we had a great time. It was challenging but we were able to get out with 1 minute to spare! I cant thank Dave enough for the amazing experience! I would definitely go back and try a different room in the future!

The place is very clean and nice and Dave, the owner, is outstanding! Very friendly and accommodating. We had a birthday party for our daughter with her friends, total of 10 young teens. We did two rooms and split into teams. We had the place all to ourselves, which was nice. The kids had a blast and they wont stop talking about it afterwards! Thank you, Dave, for such a fun and memorable experience!

Loved this escape room - we did 2 rooms (Dr Jones & Framed) and both were excellent - original style with lots going on, loved that everything worked out and followed through quite logically. We came a bit unstuck as there was a lock type we ve never seen before (apparently every US school uses them on lockers, but we re from the UK!) but soon sorted it and good to see something different, would have loved to go back and do the 3rd room but didn t manage to fit it in with our plans. Great value too, compared to others we saw in the NY area.

My wife and I were in the area for a little weekend getaway and we found this gem. We had a blast! We did the DEFCON room and we saved the world! Dave was super helpful and friendly and certainly was a big part of our success. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun time with family, friends, or even coworkers. Five stars!

Amazing experience! Definitely the best escape room Ive been to. Well-designed, exciting, fun, & creative storyline. Staff was helpful & enthusiastic & clearly put thought & care into their rooms. Highly recommended - we had a blast.

10/10 would recommend based off of my experience. Hosted a private party for a birthday and the owner made everything as easy/accommodating as possible. Outside food and drink were allowed and we were given plenty of room to celebrate! Staff were personable, helpful, and laid out clear expectations/rules for the event. Would definitely return and look forward to doing so. Thank you for an awesome experience! Was very refreshing to experience that level of customer service

My family and I did the lighthouse room. We had a fantastic time. We just made it out with 5 minutes to spare and found it challenging yet perfectly paced. Definitely recommend this escape room! Have tried a few in the area and this is one of our favorites. The game master Dave was great too! Love the themes, and clues, super fun and enjoyable!!!

We had our daughters 12th birthday there today 11 screaming 12 year olds! Dave was amazing ,patient and kept the kids motivated !! Very clean environment highly recommended would definitely go again!!!

Great way to spend our time this week with school being closed! We will be back for sure to try the rest of the rooms. We also liked how clean the place was.

We booked the DEFCON room and Dr. Jones Study for my daughters 13th birthday. She and her friends had a great time escaping. Dave did a great job explaining the rules and was overall a fun experience. Would love to come back and try the last room!

Fantastic find! Had an amazing birthday party for my 13-year-old. Dave made sure that our small group was comfortable and had what we needed at any moment. The kids LOVED it and it was super easy for me as a parent.

We had my daughters 12th Birthday party here. The kids had a great time and were able to finish the room with 3 minutes to spare. It was the first escape room for many of them. They got just the right amount of hints to keep things moving along and everyone really enjoyed the experience.

I visited the Cipher Seeker escape room earlier in the month with my family. The manager/owner Dave was very nice and accommodating to fit us in without a reservation. The location was convenient with a lot of available parking. The suite in the building was clean and well set up. We played the Graveyard Inlet game. I liked how we were given clues via a computer monitor. It seemed less like getting cheats and more part of the game experience. We returned today to do the Framed room. We had a GREAT...
Read full review time. The puzzles were challenging but not impossible. There was a great mix of electronics / tech to up the quality of the experience. There were doors, drawers, and other hidden compartments that you have figure out how to open without a traditional lock. I wont say anything more... I am looking so forward to the new room in the fall!

SO MUCH FUN! This was our first escape room and we LOVED it! It was four of us - my husband, our 10.5 year twin girls and I. We went to the middle room and it took us 52 minutes to escape. The clues we got were great and we had a blast. Highly recommend it!

This place is absolutely amazing! Dave was extremely helpful in getting everything I needed together for my event. We had an absolute blast and we will definitely be back! Can t thank you enough. Highly recommend for a fun day!

So much fun and a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Challenging rooms (we did 2) and really, super nice staff. Looking forward to going back with friends to try the 3rd room. We were also told that they were re-doing one of the rooms soon because they want to keep things fresh. I recommend it

Our group of three 11 years olds and one adult had the best time! So attentive and friendly staff made the entire experience so fun! We will definitely be back again!

We did The Hustler room and had a great time and got through it easily just to find out it was their easiest room. Unfortunately the difficulty ratings on the website are incorrect, so we thought we signed up for the hardest room but this wasn t the case.
