We did a double date night with dinner and then an escape room. We tried Room 13 and absolutely loved it! We were booked for 9:30pm but we showed up a little early and they were able to accommodate us. Friendly and very helpful staff- excellent puzzles! We did have to ask for some clues to help but we had a wonderful time and managed to Get Out with 4 minutes to spare. Wed definitely come again and try more rooms, Ill be recommending Get Out Omaha to all my friends - thanks for a great time!
We tried The Gambler and we got out with 2:11 seconds left! It was a lot of fun and the hour goes by so quickly! Had a reservation and was able to go early, so that was nice! Very friendly staff as well!
Very friendly staff! Guided us through the instructions very smoothly and answered all our silly questions given that it was either a first or second time experience for us. We did the Y2K room and it was fun since we were mostly all around the age it was relevant but mysterious.
We tried Room 13 and it was A BLAST!!!!!!! Highly recommend for something different to do. The staff was also helpful and fun! I would definitely try this again in the near future!!!!
This is the best escape room Ive been to so far in Omaha. Good layout and design. Lots of puzzles to figure out. Fun experience!
Rooms are well done! Weve enjoyed their rooms thus far and cant wait to try out their other ones including their new room they just opened!
UPDATE: Following my previous review, the owner of Get Out Omaha contacted me and made an effort to reconcile the experience of my group. As part of his effort, we were invited back to try a different room; today, my friends and I participated in Y2K. The room was a fun and nostalgic nod to the year 1999. It was well put together and challenging, but not impossible. Our game master was Marcas, and he was very attentive, even offering us small tips when we were on the cusp without having to use...
a clue. I appreciate the business s effort to make sure we had an amazing experience, and following this visit, I would recommend Break Out to friends! This evening, myself and seven friends participated in The Gambler at Break Out Omaha. The room was beautiful and challenging, however, the service was very poor. I want to be clear that the employee working did a fine job, but he was the only person working. While in the room, we asked for a clue (as instructed to do) and did not get a response for over ten minutes. On two separate instances during that 10+ minute lack of response, a member of our party left the room to find the game master and ask for help: the first time, we was taking a photo of a group that had just finished; the second time, he was not in the main foyer area. Because we were stuck with no assistance for over ten minutes, we all became very frustrated and disenchanted with the game. I m writing this review in hopes that management recognizes the need for adequate staffing. It s frustrating to have paid $200 for an experience that was not appropriately curated.
Did room 13 with my wife and parents. So much fun. Got out with nearly 6 minutes to spare. The last piece of the puzzle was hilarious as well. Was above and beyond what I expected an escape room to be like and the staff was 10/10. Will definitely be back
Had a great time here! We did room 13 which was challenging but not impossible, especially with our guide steering us in the right direction. (Most of our group was first timers, they do apparently have harder rooms too). Weirdly we were able to guess a combination and skip a few clues to finish, but our guide let us go back and figure out the clues we missed which was nice.
This was my first time at an escape room and our guide, Jesse, couldnt have been a better host! Although we didnt escape, he was encouraging all the while. We did Room 13 and thought it was full of surprises. Definitely would go here again given the chance.
My first experience here was great! Sometimes these escape room places are a complete hit or miss and I have to say I was happily impressed with the quality of the room. They had a lot of details in the appearance of the room alone! The pipes looked like they were leaking (they definitely were not), it appeared the room was a damp, cold, and un-kept room. It really set the scene. The room itself had puzzles that included combination locks, dexterity locks, puzzle codes, number pad codes and a series of different interactions in order to generate the clues that were needed to unlock them. I am a huge fan of places that have hidden doors or adjacent rooms as the experience just multiplies. The staff was great and we are excited to go back!
We did Room 13 last night. If we had 15 more seconds we would have punched in the final code and been out! This was my third escape room that Ive done (first two at other businesses-I escaped from both) and this was by far the most challenging one. Very in depth and creative on multiple levels. I would highly recommend it! Hoping to try Y2K sometime and escape!
Very well detailed, fun time! Unfortunately the traps were not activated correctly and a specific book was not placed in the room so it took some time off and we were stuck, otherwise we would have figured it out on our own with the correct clues. They added the time back, but were took off time because items were missing. Reccomend the Civil War room!
First time trying an escape room. This was super fun and the staff was super helpful (when needed). It was a lot more exhilarating than I thought it would be!! When we got done we were ready to try another one!
The attention to detail in the rooms decor and atmosphere truly transports you back in time, enhancing the sense of urgency and excitement as you race against the clock to escape. The authenticity of the setting is commendable, making the experience both thrilling and memorable. Equally great was the staff.
Our group had a super fun time in Room 13. The puzzles were clever, well thought out, and challenging. Would definitely love to go back to check out some of their other rooms.
Escaped the Basketball room for my 11 yo nieces birthday and it was great, enjoyable for all, lots of variety. We were all engaged and excited, staff were lovely and kept us on pace with timely suggestions. Thanks so much, highly recommended.
I have now been here twice! The first time we went for my husbands birthday, and we had a great time. Unfortunately, part of the room we did was not working properly, and we werent able to finish. Jesse responded very quickly and made it right. We came back for a second time with my nephew and did the Civil War Room. It was so much fun! I highly recommend going to this place! They are all so nice there, and the rooms are so much fun!
We brought our 10 & 12 year olds and had a BLAST!! We made it out with 1:37 mins to spare. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the rooms. Our moderator was perfect!! As soon as we were out, we wished we could start the whole thing all over again.
We were so bummed out at first when we saw there was no where to put our pin, but when we had finished our room we seen Seth and the other young women working with him had put up our island!! We felt so included!! Staff was super kind and helpful. The room was very fun as well. We will definitely be returning.
It was our first time. We were terrible, but the guy running everything was very kind. He gave us a few extra hints to help keep my young kids extra engaged.
We did Room 13 and it was pretty involved. Very enjoyable and lots of head scratching. Would I go again? YES.
Very fun place. My kids ages 10,12 and 13 had a blast. We went in room 13. Staff was super nice and helpful. Will be back again!
Had a great time. The puzzle room we chose was challenging, and we did not make it out in time.
Y2K - Awesome experience! Clues weren t obvious, but were obtainable. Definitely made you think, but never seemed impossible. Clean room with all pieces readily available. Such a great time, we ll be back tomorrow for more!
Super fun time! We had a group of 4 and were able to work efficiently to get out with about 15-20 minutes left.. the room was engaging and perfect for beginners
The escape room was fun and very challenging, but I dont think it would have been the same if not for the hospitality and set up performed by our hostess, Paige Mosier!!! She was so fun and set us up for total success! Very challenging and hoping to come back again for more! Give this girl a raise!!!!
Clean facility, decently cordial staff. One of the puzzles didn t Line up and we had to guess to get it. Then we got stuck on the last puzzle. We at first weren t sure what to do and asked for a clue. she gave a bad clue. we followed her directions but they were the wrong ones. Then when we figured it out past that point she just kept repeating what we had already said aloud. That s not a clue. Despite the one clue we had to guess on we had a good time up until the last puzzle. It s just upsetting that we lost because she couldn t be bothered.
Attempted to escape 3 different rooms. Havent made it out yet. It was such a good time trying to crack the codes to escape these rooms. The staff is excellent. Love how theyll info u of what was left to do. I encourage any1 & every1 to try Get Out Omaha. U wont be disappointed in the experience. I will be back & get out yet
We did Room 13 and had a great experience. The puzzles were fun and our host was very helpful in giving us clues when we were lost.
