Escape De Facto / Escape Room Lincoln

We took our Q2 team out tonight here and it was great. Good laughs, great thought into the puzzle, and very friendly owner. The team had a blast and we did survive !!! Certainly one of the better escape rooms my team has been apart of

Better than I expected! It was several rooms, which made it even more fun and exciting. It was difficult but thankful for the opportunity for hints. Fantastic time and great to do with my family. This was my first escape room, my kids have done others and said this one was by far the best one they have done! I will definitely come back and highly recommend you try this one first!

What a fun and challenging experience! We all had a blast. The puzzles were challenging, but did not seem insurmountable. The occasional assists from the house keeper were helpful but not obvious give-aways of the solution to the puzzle. I loved that it was a multiroom experience where you progressed from room to room, but could never completely forget the previous room. Would highly recommend to everyone!

Went on a date with my husband. We had so much fun figuring out the puzzles. The host was friendly, the puzzles were complex and interesting without being impossible, and the setting was perfect.

We had the best time!! The environment the attention to detail and the effort put into the escape room definitely sets this one apart from others in town. Its not random its a story that flows! I absolutely recommend it to anyone who likes doing escape rooms!!

So much fun! The staff was enthusiastic and professional. Were ready to go again, when the puppeteer opens. We went for my daughters birthday and had a lot of fun!! Definitely recommend !! !

My wife and I decided to try this on our own and we had a blast. Unlike other escape rooms, De Facto actually has multiple rooms, each with their own puzzles that were challenging, but fair. On top of the impressively constructed puzzles, the interactivity of the overall experience adds a fun and unique twist. We highly recommend checking it out!

This was our first experience with an escape room. My kids and I really enjoyed it and talked about it for a solid hour after we escaped. Took the 4 of us around 50 minutes and 3 official hints, but the entire time was very fun and exciting. The way the clues worked were really neat and very satisfying once solved. Highly recommended, memorable experience!

i came with my boyfriend and we absolutely adored this. we did the house of things , it was so so fun and still challenging at the same time. the owner was extremely nice and made the entire experience complete. all the puzzles were extremely well thought out. looking forward to come back to the puppeteer room when its open!

This was our 51st Escape Room (we re visiting from out of state and love to do local rooms when we travel) and it was one of the more unique ones we ve done! Lots of the thought and effort went into the room and the creepy ambiance definitely added a thrill to the experience. A fun escape room that thinks outside the box. Check it out!

100% Recommended this one to anyone even remotely curious about escape rooms. Ive done many before and this one is definitely close to the top ones Ive ever done. When I went there was only the House of Things and it was by far worth it. The puzzles in there has a lot of thought put behind them and you can tell theres a lot of effort put in here to make the atmosphere feel as immersive as possible. If youve never tried an escape room before please try this one you wont regret it one bit!!

Great experience at escape the room! We liked that we had to follow clues to find everything, instead of randomly searching for objects across the room. We thought the instructor did a very good job and had a clear explanation for everything. There are fun scary touches here that we also enjoyed! We just wish there were more puzzles because we got out in 49 minutes and didn t want the fun to end!

Oh my gosh, this escape room experience was soooooooo fun! I ve done a few escape rooms in Lincoln and this one is different- I can t believe it took me this long to discover Escape De Facto! Room/Story we chose was also the perfect amount of hair-raising atmosphere. I took my daughter and two of her friends for a 16th birthday party and we shared so many jump scares and laughs!!! I felt like a teenager, too. I highly recommend Escape De Facto. Please go check it out!

My husband and I own a business and we took our key players out for this great team building exercise. We all had so much fun. The House of Things was challenging but not too much especially with clues. We got 4 official clues out of 12 puzzles but the housekeeper gave us a few extra I think because he saw we were working hard and close but not quite getting there. We debriefed as a group for a good 20 minutes after because we thought it a very stimulating and fun experience, which was a great part of the team building as well!

Great unique experience! We have done many escape rooms and enjoyed this layout, the variety of puzzles, and the in game hints. Definitely an escape room bucket list.

We booked this escape room for my girlfriends birthday and had a great time. The puzzles were very fun and challenging. The owner was super nice and helpful. I would go here again.

Easily the best escape room Ive ever done! Great owner and clever clues. Its a large and involved space that feels very immersive. Absolutely love it!!

I loved this, it reminds me of those surreal escape the room flash games. I want another one with more actors and even more space just to see how creepy this could get! Looking forward to the puppet room! Host was Awsome, my girlfriend and I loved it, Loved it!

Great time, and a different approach to escape rooms than most others that rely solely on combination locks every step of the way. Youve got to be creative with this one! A little spooky and very interactive, it was a unique time and well worth it. Only gave four stars since one or two of the puzzles didnt work as they were supposed to, but the helpful staff would quickly remediate the situation and we could get on with the fun!

We had a staff team building day and Escape De Facto was one of our activities. It was a blast! We had a team of 11 people. It was challenging enough to be fun but not so challenging you feel defeated. The host was fun and is passionate about the work and the experience being authentic and fun. Ive done 2 other escape rooms in Lincoln with work colleagues and this is the first one I can say was really fun and enjoyable. Thank you!

Cool design with lots of space unlike other escape rooms. The game master was fantastic and the hints were reasonably adjusted to our skill level. Cant wait for the new room they are designing.

We had an amazing time! There were different puzzles features so everyone in our diverse group was engaged. I also want to thank you for holding our spot for us even though we were late due to transportation issues and for taking our crazy sense of humor in stride. This was a great experience and I highly recommend!

I ve done dozens of escape rooms and this is really unique. You can tell so much thought and care has gone in to it. And without spoiling anything, there are some surprises and elements I ve never seen in any escape room before. Highly recommended!!

My work team did this as a team building exercise. We had a lot of fun and it definitely took the whole team to escape before time ran out. The staff there was awesome to interact with. We highly recommend it.

We had a great time! For us, it was hard to get going and know what to look for, but the worker was helpful in hints and made it fun. We enjoyed the different rooms and a few scares now and then. We had so much fun!

We went here with the family over Christmas break and had a great time! It s a new and unique format for an escape room, with multiple rooms/sections, and very well-defined, electronic puzzles that clearly tell you when you ve achieved the right answer. Great, responsive staff who are helpful and scale the experience to the age of the group. I even like the way it was priced, without charging per person and instead just booking the room and you bring whoever you want (why don t more places do this?). Highly recommend this place! Thanks for a great experience!
