Our family just completed Eternity Battle. We loved every bit of it. We have done escape rooms about a half dozen times previous and this is at the top of them. Clean, challenging but manageable, great help from staff, multiple rooms, and 75 minutes was great. We will definitely back another time.
Nicely done puzzle rooms. We did the Marvel and GoT themed rooms. Both were just the right balance of challenging and solvable. The practical effects were great. Love the maker vibe, too. Great people with lots of energy on staff.
Super immervise room, one of the most fun rooms (wizard room) Ive played across many cities and companies. The game guide was very attentive and helpful. Would absolutely play here again.
Brought my kids to trapped puzzles rooms for a birthday party. It was everyones first time and it couldnt have been a better experience. Our girls were a little scattered but with a few hints they were able to make it out. Cant express how nice and helpful the staff member that helped us was, he went above and beyond so that our girls could figure it out and escape!
Ive always had a great experience at Trapped. The crew are phenomenal, the rooms are immersive, and the puzzles are challenging and fun. Its one of the best escape room companies in the Twin Cities.
We had a great time! We were a mixed age group ranging from 13 to 74, most with no experience and a few with some experience. We were about a minute over but did solve it! Very very fun time!
What a fabulous experience!! We brought our underwriting team there for a team building exercise and it was amazing! We cant thank the guys behind the scenes and our day of captain o fun, Brian enough!! He did such a great job explaining to our wild crew and made the game a lot of fun!! You do actually have to think to solve these puzzles, the rooms are clean and safe (for those who may be nervous, the doors are not actually even locked you can literally walk out), the atmosphere is positive, and we will definitely be back!!! 11/10 HIGHLY recommend for families and business adventures!! Thank you again Tapped Puzzles Minneapolis!!
Played the magic room. Amazing room. We completed with two people and had a blast. If you re a fan of Parry Hotter (you ll understand the misspelling when you see the room), this theme is for you. Lots of magic cast and our game master Haley was amazing. Would highly recommend.
I brought my team there for a team building event. We had a great time. The Witchcraft Alley was really challenging and it was a lot of fun. We never could have completed it without a lot of hints. Our game master explained everything at the beginning, but somehow, we didnt connect what the objective was. My suggestion is to make sure everyone understands what you are trying to accomplish before you start. Once we knew what we were trying to do, it made more sense. But at first, we were totally lost.
Witchcraft Alley was a great challenge for inexperienced escape room participants. We were thankful for the helpful clues from the staff! Really had fun with our grandsons (15) as a mini trip for their spring break! The different rooms and puzzles to solve were excellent. Thanks for a great time.
The Witchcraft Alley room was probably one of the best escape rooms I ve ever experienced at any other twin cities escape room location. The room was so unique, intricate, and fun - without being too difficult! We loved that you had to cast spells to get to some of the other rooms or gain other pieces to escape! Would highly recommend this room!
My sister and I brought our 8 year olds and two of their friends and had an absolute BLAST! I want to do this every weekend so so so well-orchestrated and fun to solve! The puzzle masters gave us a lot of support so we would feel successful, but the room was high-caliber and challenging for those who don t want hints! I cannot recommend enough an experience you won t forget!
We did Dragons Keep and it was so much fun! We had a group of five and we could work on different parts of this room gathering clues, we were not crowded. The difficulty was just right, hard enough to keep you figuring, but getting clues when we got stuck. It definitely was not easy. Brian was our host and he was just great! He gave us a clue just at the right time. We will be back to try other rooms. I hope you finish the room because the last part is really cool!
We had a great time! My partner and I did the Witchcraft Alley room together and it was a lot of fun. The difficulty level was pretty good for us, we definitely needed some hints, but the room was super well designed and our game master, Ruby, was great about making sure we never got too off track. Big thumbs up to Ruby and Trapped Escape Rooms!
I booked this for my son s birthday. Six boys, 13-15 and myself- probably fell about 10-15 minutes short of being about to complete the Eternity Battle. The pros were the ease of booking and friendly welcome. It was easy to add on one more ticket at the last minute. The costs are also a little lower than other metro area escape rooms. The cons were that we had two elements fail during our experience. One vault became disengaged when it shouldn t have and the staff had to come in and reset. Then...
when we were deep into a puzzle and all very focused, foam bricks dumped on us from high up and really startled us. We were told on the screen sorry, that is for the end. At the end she said she has no idea how that would have happened. Another con is that we were given a strict second warning on the screen about taking pictures. I looked around and not one of us had a phone on us, and there was never a first warning. I had to say no one has a camera or phone! The timer was also off. She said something like it ll say you have 15 minutes, but you really have more time than that. The last con is that it was dirty. One of our kids had black/grey smudges on his legs, hands, and face. I had it on my hands. I don t know what element of the puzzle did this, but it was a bit odd. Just don t wear your best clothes. :) I felt like we were solving things at a fair pace, but then at the end we were shown how far we were from the end. Combined with the cons listed above, it just all felt a bit discouraging at the end. We were told on the screen and after that the next group is here, you have to go. We have to reset the room That is understandable, just felt rushed/hurried. There is no screen for the last 1/3 of the puzzle, and that is frustrating too. You have to go into a different room to see any messages. I wouldn t recommend this experience for a group larger than 4 people or for non-adults. The puzzles are clever, and I wouldn t be opposed to trying a different room but there is a lot to solve in a short amount of time. A great challenge, but must be fast and hope everything plays out accurately without glitches.
Witchcraft Alley was absolutely fantastic, far better than any of us anticipated. Can t recommend it highly enough! Friendly staff, cool setting, and clever puzzles. Truly worth every penny!
My son and I, just the two of us, did Dragons Keep. It was a lot of fun and the difficulty level was perfect. We could have used more people as we took longer than it would have if wed had more help. The MC for the day was a very nice girl who obviously enjoyed her job and made our experience that much better. We intend to go back and do other puzzle rooms in the future.
I ve done many of the puzzle rooms around the twin cities, and this was the first one that was a real disappointment. When we needed a hint, we asked the game master for several minutes . And we were met with silence. We waited another few minutes and had to leave the room to track him down (he hadn t been watching the room). And once we finally did get a hint, he proceeded to spend 5 more minutes walking us through a puzzle we had already solved (which, he didn t know as he hadn t been watching). So overall just a disappointment and won t be returning.
Super fun activity for the family and friends. We completed, Its All Fun and Games. We finished in 55 minutes with a few clues and off to lunch at Black Sheep. Great way to spend the day! Well absolutely do it again!
We LOVED our experience! We did a kid friendly room, and the staff was welcoming, friendly and fun. Plus, we were stuck on a riddle, and they extended our time and gave us some clues. We will definitely be back!
We had our daughters 10th birthday party here and it was an absolute hit! The staff were amazing, from scheduling, to adjustments, to greeting us and running the game, they were top-notch the entire time. Brian (our main guy during the party) was energetic and was wonderful with getting the girls to listen and had them all pumped up to enter the room! We did the Its all fun and games room and it was the perfect challenge for the girls (and many times for us adults too!). Im happy to say the girls made it out of the room and had an amazing time. I highly recommend Trapped Puzzle Rooms and their North Loop location.
This location does not have access to an elevator as stated. My family went to the North Loop location for my sisters 70th birthday and when we followed the website directions for access to the elevator, the doors were locked and the building appeared to be private. The staff does not answer phones as working the rooms, and you can only be 5 minutes late. My sister and another friend had to go down 2 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS to access the puzzle rooms and then when one had to use the restroom we found...
out you need a key to access the floors, so even if someone let us in, we would not have been able to get to the puzzle room floor. It caused a lot of stress and frustration, so if you use a can or have a medical conditrion, this is not the loction for you. The Dragons Keep puzzle room was really fun for a mixed group of novice escape room people ages 30 to 70. I would have given them a rating of 5, but it is hard to do that when the website was so misleading.
Fantastic experience and inclusive for all. I loved going through Dragons Keep run by Ashton. They always knew when we needed a hint and kept the activity upbeat. All the staff are easy to work with. Additionally, the surrounding area is gorgeous.
Theres no doubt that the gamemakers at Trapped LOVE the craft of escape room-ing, Every single time we purchase a Room Experience we enjoy ourselves immensely and marvel at the clever ways clues connect and materialize. So much fun. Every. Single. Time.
Really fun! Theme, clues, and props really creative. Really cool when clues are solved and doors open or other clues appear. We got stuck a few times, but the gentleman would give us clues or suggestions to keep us going. The girls and I loved it! Thank you for a very fun time!
We did the Witchcraft Alley room with 4 people. It was challenging and definitely takes a dynamic group to complete! We didnt quite do it in time, but had a blast.
We did the Wizard Room in St Paul. 10/10. Highly recommend. We had all ages, with the youngest being 8 and oldest 43.
Ceecee was an excellent game master. The dragons keep room was so cool and very fun to play with my friends! Fun was had by all!
We had a mixed group with us of adults and kids and had a blast doing the Elernity Battle room. It was challenging but so much fun. I would definitely recommend this business and we will be visiting again soon to do some of the other rooms.
Wow. Just wow. Best birthday. Mega family friendly, very supportive, and encouraging clues for kiddos and grown up helpers. Witch craft alley had as entertained the entire time!!
