The Great Escape Room Tampa

I had an amazing time! It was my first escape room, and I am so happy it was at this location. 5 coworkers and I completed the heart surgery room (sorry I dont remember the exact name) it was so much fun I was nervous I wouldnt be able to figure anything out but I found 2 clues and was so happy about that alone. We finished with 2 seconds on the clock it was really exciting, and I look forward to going back again. This is a great activity to work on communication, attention to detail and just have fun. One of the best retreats my job has done!

Very FUN Rooms! We found them on the Morty app & I Immediately Wish Listed their Games! We did Escape The Colosseum, Presidents Bunker & Bro s For Life today and are coming back tomorrow on our Last Day in Tampa to do Infirmary!! We obviously just can t get enough of Escape Rooms and this place checked ALL the boxes! Well thought out rooms with Great Puzzles & the esthetics were Amazing! Our Game Masters; Leo & Gio made the experience Amazing! We Absolutely recommend this spot!

We had so much fun here. The challenge was not easy. Solving all the clues was challenging and fun. The staff was incredibly helpful and their excitement about the game got us off to a great start. Will definitely be coming back.

We had an AMAZING time and Leo was the best tour guide. It was our first time doing an escape room and this place had some really good reviews. The website showed the different themes and how long they were. We went with the 2 hours colosseum one. Definitely an experience of a lifetime and will be back to try another soon.

first time i did an escape room. we picked the hardest one. it was lots of fun. seemed well run and thought out and they were helpful when stuck. highly recommend! parking right next door.

Just visiting Tampa for the weekend and looking for something to do during the rain. What an awesome way to spend some time with friends!! We played poker with the presidents to save the world and it was a great team building experience with a lot of laughs!!! Would definitely recommend. Our two hosts were very accommodating and theatrical which added to our escape room. Luke got our journey started with flair!

My family and I played the Mountain Top Murders. Nicole was very helpful, kind, patient and informative. We really appreciate her service. The game was so fun a bit hard you really have to think out the box I think we did pretty well. We will definitely be coming back to play another game.

Awesome time doing the frat escape room! It was lots of fun and the family enjoyed themselves. The only downside was due to a technical issue, the room wed originally chosen was not available. However, they were quick to call and offer an alternative. The room guide was funny and did his best to urge us on to success. The building elevator is slow and tiny, so fair warning to take the stairs instead!

First timer here!! Came in with high expectations based on ratings and they did not disappoint! Me and my wife did an anniversary activity here and had a blast. The entire staff was awesome (especially Nicole) Definitely plan on returning

I like the feel of this place, as it felt somewhat like a speak easy. There was not a lot of signage on the outside of the building, and the buzzer to get in was cool. The game room itself was great, with lots of things to figure out also looked and felt the part of a presidential bunker. My only reservation to going back would have to be the lack of a modern feel, or maybe the upscale feel that some places have. Overall, it was a great experience, but I would only go back with a discounted rate or a remodeled interior.

The overall experience was engaging, and enjoyable. Your staff was welcoming although they could have prepared us better for our escape room challenge. The escape room itself was well thought out and brought a lot of excitement to our group. The puzzles were challenging yet achievable, making them both stimulating and rewarding. However, there are few areas I believe could be improved. First, the video to explain the steps at the beginning could be more clarifying. Secondly, making sure all keys are properly locked and we wont find them by easily opening a drawer. Despite these minor issues, our overall experience was positive, and I would definitely be recommending The Great Escape.

This was the perfect team building activity and fun for all ages! The staff was helpful and entertaining while we waited for our room! Super fun that we could watch other rooms too!!

Day date with my husband and we had a fantastic time! Everything is so well thought out! The staff member Lola was so awesome. Overall we loved it and can t wait to go back for a different room!

My first experience in an Escape room and it was a blast. Very thought provoking to say the least. Very clever! Clues were great but not too easy. Was a great team building event. Everyone working together for the win!!!

Great time! Rooms were interesting and fun! Had a big group who did several rooms and many got stumped by the puzzles inside and didnt escape...but they werent in my group! We narrowly escaped the two rooms we did. Had a blast.

Horrible experience. We had to rebook once which was fine but it was a super last minute cancellation. We rescheduled on Mother s Day 2024 and they called us 15 minutes before noon which was the time we were supposed to play. They said our room wasn t available. My mom tried to ask for an explanation very nicely about why the room wasn t available and the guy working there was very rude. We got our refund thankfully but will not return. Horrible work ethic and service. Would not recommend.

We chose the 2 hour coliseum escape room and it was so much fun. It was challenging but satisfying to solve the rooms. Definitely would go again when were back in Tampa.

I had an amazing experience visiting the great escape room. The employees were very kind and funny. They even pushed back our time so that the rest of our group would be able to make it. It was very exciting and we finished with 9 seconds left on the clock!!

We planned the great escape room for a team building experience. We could not have planned a better event. We all had the best time and will do it again. Leo was great explaining everything to get us started and also giving us our final times at the end. He and Alley made a great team for hosting our experience. Boom Shaka Laka

We had so much fun doing the poker night themed escape room! My 4 friends and I managed to escape with 10 minutes left on the clock. It was awesome to see how well we worked as a team.

Had a great experience at The Great Escape Room. We had a corporate outing with 14 people split into two groups. It was a great team building event that we would definitely like to repeat in the future.

Well designed room. Great set dressing and props. Puzzles were not overly difficult, not too easy. Will definitely be coming back to do the rest of the rooms.

Lola and Leo were amazing employees and made the experience more enjoyable! They were super helpful, kind, and funny! We did the Infirmary escape room which was very challenging and fun! Highly recommend this escape room!

I went here for the first time, not knowing really what to expect and let me just say that it was great and I had so much fun!! And Nicole was awesome, her energy really topped it off. I will definitely be back!

We had a great time! We did 2 escape rooms. Bros for life was hard but the surgical one was pretty easy! Robbie and Leo did an amazing job helping us out! I definitely recommend this place!

Absolutely amazing! We did the President s Bunker. We used our student discount (super helpful for us college kids). The game master was through video & audio (my favorite way to play). They even told us ahead of time on the website that it would be that way. The clues were a perfect mix of hard & easy. We did the surgical crisis room! It started kinda abruptly so I thought they would announce something or present the case. There were 8 of us, and it was a lot of fun! Sometimes we got lost in the details but the hints were helpful. We had the hardest time with the Id cards because we put them on the wrong slots but we really liked the concept and the staff were really nice! Great teamwork building activity and would recommend it again!

We had a great time! The room was near, organized and well played out. We were able to escape with less than 1 minute left. The clues we used were very helpful and we could tell that even the staff wanted us to get out, at the end!
