Gamers Excape - Escape Rooms Tampa

Jailbreak was so fun!! We can t wait to come back and do the rest of the rooms! Thank you Miles for being an awesome game keeper! Andrea and Miles were excellent again and we escaped Arabian Nights!

Me and two others played the Blackout room and the Arabian Nights Part 2 room back to back today. The staff were all amazingly kind, specifically Andrea and Miles being the ones who set us up and help us through the games. For blackout, they lead you into the room with blindfolds and don t instruct you to take it off till the door is closed and light sealed. The room is pitch black and no source of light is provided to you throughout the game. We had a great time, however the room did feel alittle...
Read full review too easy, since it was our first blackout room but we were still able to finish in 30 minutes. Either way, we still had tons of fun figuring it out. Arabian Nights Part 2 is a bogo only room, meaning it is free once you buy a different room. That room is 10/10 difficulty and no hints are provided. We did indeed get challenged since so many items are provided to you that you need to sort through from the start and you have to do unconventional escape room things like throw objects at other objects. We were unable to complete it but that s okay! We had a blast in that room. Me and my squad will definitely be going back to do the other rooms!

We had a great time escaping the Magicians Prison! Fun themed room, challenging puzzles, and our fairy guide Andrea was great! This is the only escape room Ive been to that actually has some built in cosplay. :)

Loved this escape room! Andrea and miles were amazing and made the experience so much better. being caged up and handcuffed and blindfolded was crazy but it was such a good time. There were jump scares in our room, but they weren t too bad in my opinion. Would highly recommend.

Miles and Andrea were fantastic! If this is your first ever escape room, you ll have a blast. If you ve done 5 or more escape rooms, you ll be disappointed. I ve done 50+ and this facility is bottom 5. Poorly made rooms and the plot isn t thoughtful. They take a quantity over quality approach, and it shows. Staff is amazing, but stay away from here if you ve done more than 5 escape rooms.

My Boo & I were visiting the area from Atlanta. We decided to try out Gamers Excape because we had a little time to kill. Best Decision Ever! We had so much fun. We tried the Jailbreak room with a live actor, I wish I got his name. He was the BEST! At first, we were skeptical about interacting with someone but it ended up being way more entertaining than simply being in the room and asking for a clue. Read full review. Luckily, I was able to pay for him to join us. While we escaped Jailbreak, we didn t have as much luck with Arabian Nights. In general, the rooms, clues, and puzzles were different than other escape rooms we ve been to. They are very well put together. (Don t let the condition of the exterior of the shopping center scare you away.) We will definitely go back to try other rooms, and maybe take a second chance at Arabian Nights 2 the next time we are visiting my nephew. Go! You won t be disappointed.

Gamers Excape has absolutely given us a great experience from beginning to end! We did the kidnapped themed room and we had a blast! Our game masters, Andrea, Kai and Miles did an amazing job! We were able to escape the room using 2 clues and 18 minutes left to spare! We will definitely be back to try our luck at the different themes!

Nicko and Andreaha were awesome! Loved the room! The fact that they are open til 1am. The best room I ve ever experienced!

We had such a great time with a team of three. Andrea was great introducing into our first room and gave us amazing help throughout the room. Miles as well introduced us into the second room and was a great place.

Took my child here for their birthday. Had a bit of a scheduling snafu (2 parties booked for the same room 30 minutes apart.) Started out a little upset, as one would, but the host, Andrea, was QUICK to apologize, and make things right for the party. She was exactly what youd hope for when dealing in a tough situation, and she definitely deserves her kudos. Ultimately, the kids had a great time, and everything went off successfully. Will definitely be back again soon.

Such a fun experience! We loved the music Andrea selected for our escape and the ambience of the room, and needed one clue to which she helped us proceed without taking away the fun of the challenge. We can t wait to come back and try the other rooms, will definitely be bringing more friends along!

I ve never been to an escape room as fun as this one!! The experience was so unique due to our wonderful game masters Andrea & Nicko who interacted with us as actors. Even outside of the game they are really cool people to talk to. We ll definitely be coming back!

Awesome experience! We didn t break out of jail but got so close! Miles was a great warden. Will be back again. Kai was a fantastic magician/fairy!

We were in town visiting friends and family at Busch Gardens when we got rained out and decided to look for an escape room or two to keep us dry. Andrea really delivered with the jump scares in Taken, and Kai gave us a great interactive experience in Prison Break. Overall a great experience and we ll actually be back again for Arabian Nights.

We did the Magician s Trap, this room was set in difficult and definitely lived up to the hype! Thank y all for a really challenging experience ( and thanks for the tip s) Jarod, thanks again! We will definitely be back ( with more help!)

My group did the Taken escape room and it was one of the best I have done! The live actor, Miles, was an amazing and did a great job scaring us! Our game master, Andrea, was super helpful and patient. We will definitely be coming back for more.

I dont believe these reviews at all. We played all the games at this location when it was under a different name. We called to make sure the games were not the same and they assured us they are all new games. When we arrived, it looked almost identical to the old game so I said this looks familiar and the host replied that they paid homage to the old room and revamped it. So they added a set of lockers and a cabinet and took away some of the cool stuff that was in there under the previous owners...
Read full review. Room was very boring and not enough to for 4 people to do. Spent most the time standing around. You can hear through the walls and when you ask for a clue, you have to wait if your host is scaring the other rooms. The lobby used to be nice with cool decor and now it looks like trash. Bathrooms were dirty and the entire place in general was dirty. Sad because under the old ownership, it was a cool place. Im glad we booked a second room at another location to make up for a crappy night. If they charged $15 a person, you would feel you spent too much. weve played 150+ games and this was the last on our list. They either bought reviews or kept the ones from the old business.

One of the most terrifying experiences of my entire life. If you think that it s going to be a little room with clues you re so wrong. Listen, we got BLINDFOLDED, HANDCUFFED, CHAINED UP, AND FORCED INTO A CAGE!!! I m still shaking as I m writing this and I ll probably never recover (a compliment). Andrea and Miles were so great! They were extremely professional and helpful. They made us feel comfortable even though we were literally being chained up so that says a lot. Andrea s design for taken was next level. Couldn t recommend strongly enough! I hear there are less freaky ones for children too.

We had such a great time! Nicko was great and explained each room really well. Theres different options depending on what room you want and we chose the scary one. So much fun and scare element was on point. Had a great time!

We escaped the Taken room! I think we escaped with five minutes left and enjoyed every second of our screaming journey! Our two game masters were amazing too, extremely personable! The room itself did not disappoint at all either, they have really good props that make for good scares, super excited to come back too after learning they ll be cranking out new themes seasonally! Checked out Gamers Excape Rooms and it was amazing. Magicians trap was spectacular from set design and puzzles, 20/10! We had the pleasure of having Andrea as our game master and she was a delight! Thank you Andrea for making our Escape room experience that much more spectacular!

Andrea was very helpful! The live actor made things interesting. We played jail break and escaped with 1.5min left. Very fun!

Very disappointed with the customer service. Andrea who was in the front was so rude when she saw us walk in with kids. She was unhelpful with the kids during their session and seemed very annoyed that we had children participating in the experience. The room we chose was magician room, and she said it s not for kids when they advertise the room for all kids. She really needs a lesson on customer services and being more accommodating to children ! We paid $$ just like any other customer. The professionalism and accommodation was not there and we did not expect that. The place is amazing but they should give a lesson to their staff about customer service.
