Game Over Escape Rooms TAMPA

We had a great time at this location! The Philosopher stone and the haunted mansion was a lot of fun. Each room is completely decked out and unique. It was a great challenge trying to make it out as a team. We re already planning to return to try another room soon. I highly recommend.

My 11 year son and I visited on Saturday. We booked the Philosophers Stone escape room. This was our first experience with an escape room. It was challenging. Luckily, there is a help button and the staff offer hints without telling you directly what to do. We enjoyed all the puzzles and look forward to visiting again.

This place is always booked, especially for their Haunted Mansion escape room and I can definitely see why! The host greeted us and asked if we needed to use the restroom and gave us the lockers to put our stuff in. When we entered the hallway, it was so aesthetically pleasing to the eye. He explained the rules and let us into the Haunted Mansion escape room. It was set to medium but it was difficult but a very good challenge. It was scary and ominous! I enjoyed it a lot and we finished it with 3 minutes to spare. It was such a great experience, I would 100% go there again and highly recommend!

Brought our soccer team here during a recent tournament. They did the Bank Heist and Haunted Mansion. The kids really enjoyed this. The Haunted Mansion was a bit much for a group of 12 year olds, but they had a great time.

My family and I(7 people) visited this location. We did the heist escape room experience. Im proud to say we solved it with some clues and 20 seconds to spare. The experience was great. No phones are allowed in the experience. A locker will be provided for your belongings. We were able to take pictures with props outside of the venue at the end. The workers were friendly and courteous.

Had an amazing time during the haunted mansion escape room. We made it out with 5 minutes to spare with only 2 people. Theres unlimited hints and no time penalty, but it can definitely be beat in time with no hints. Great staff and an awesome experience.

Me and my brother had a really good time at the game over escape room. We love the show Money Heist ( La casa de Papel) is one of our favorite shows and we were happy to have the opportunity to be part of the professor s team ;) the room is not a hard room , definitely a room that can be done with family and friends . Loved our experience.

This was my first escape room experience, and it left me wanting to come back and try the other themes. My group (4 people) did the philosopher s stone scenario, and while everything is a little generic to avoid copyright issues from You Know Who, the room was thoughtfully designed and well crafted. Since this was the first time for most of my group, the employee walked us through the basics and what to expect. Overall a great experience.

My wife, my friends, and I have been back twice because we love these rooms so much! Weve played the Philosophers Stone and Lost City of Atlantis rooms and we loved them! The rooms are challenging enough to make you think outside the box and the clues intuitively make sense. On top of that, the props and decorations dont feel like a cheap knockoff - theyve clearly put time and love into the experience. The staff buys into the scenario and seems to have just as much fun as you do withe the room. Next time were in town, were going back to try their Money Heist room and see if we cant beat the record time!

We did the Haunted Mansion room which was a lot of fun. It just seems fairly expensive at $35 per person.

I have never been to an escape room before but I will definitely be back here to do their other rooms. My two young children and myself did the Haunted Mansion and while I dont like scary things, it was a blast. The gentleman doing our hints was very helpful and I truly believe he gave age appropriate hints to make sure the kids could understand. He stayed in character the whole time too. Everyone cant wait to come back. Thanks a ton for letting us have a great family day!

We had a lovely time doing the Atlantis escape room here! It was my first time doing an escape room, and this was the perfect start. Jocelyn was a wonderful game master! So kind and incredibly helpful when we hit a couple of walls. This place gets a huge recommendation from me!

Came here for date night and had so much fun!!! Mark was a GREAT host, he was helpful and enthusiastic from start to finish. The Haunted Mansion room was challenging and actually scarier than I expected! We will be returning soon to try a different room

GAME OVER escape rooms are awesome!! The level of detail in the designs and props is amazing! Ive been to the Brandon, Tampa and Plant City locations and they are all fantastic. Each location has completely different rooms so theres always a new theme to try. Would highly recommend them for anyone interested in escape rooms! :)

Amazing experience and S-Tier date idea for my girlfriend and I! We did the Haunted Mansion room and as soon as the door closed, we instantly felt immersed in the scene. So freaking scary and awesome!! Being it was our first escape room ever we had to use the hints a few times but it was truly an amazing experience and I will definitely come here again to finish all the rooms!! Thank you guys for making this experience awesome!!

We just did the Top Secret room in Brandon and was not impressed at all I think mainly because they do not tell you how hard rooms are and that one for us was just too far out of our league. We were ten minutes late because we went to wrong location but I don t think that would have changed our minds as we were ready to leave the room 10 min before our time even ended as it was absolutely no fun for us as was way too difficult. Had trouble even getting out of the first room. I think they should...
Read full review disclose difficulty on their site so as we know what we are getting into when we book. Have done their Haunted house in Tampa and loved that one even though we did not escape. And have done others throughout Tampa but this one was just not fun at all. We will try Atlantis in Tampa as we have heard that one is awesome! Wish I could have given a better review.

So fun and the production value was crazy good. Mardi was a great host.

The Heist room was fun just wished they rated the room better on their website. They rated good for up to 10 guests. We are a large family and there were 9 of us. The room did not have enough going to keep everyone busy, we kept getting in each other s way. We do escape rooms a lot with the family but this was expensive for us to not have everyone able to really participate. We ve not had this problem at other places that say they accomodate up to 10. This room would be much better rated for 4 - 6 people

fun thing to do with friends :) we did the philosophers stone room and it was great. love that there are multiple rooms to go through and that you can get hints when you need them. would do it again!

We went to birthday party here and the place smelled like sewage. The owner offered to comp a second experience at a different location but there are no refunds and you have to reschedule at least 24 hours prior. We went to this location because our daughter wanted the wizard themed room. Honestly, it s embarrassing to have an event and have other people show up to a place that smells like sewage. They did a great job offering hints and clues over the intercom (group of seven 11-13 yr olds).

Walked in and smelled like sewage. We had our daughters friends and their parents waiting in the lobby and they couldn t get out of there quick enough. The staff claimed it was a complex issue , however I went to both neighboring businesses and they smelled great. DONT GO HERE

My husband, kids and I were looking to do an escape room this weekend and found Game Over. We booked the Haunted Mansion, it is absolutely one of the best rooms we have ever done (and we have done a lot). We decided to try another room at one of their other locations and it did not disappoint either. We are looking forward to trying all their rooms! 100% recommend

I did the Atlantis room with 6 other people for my 18th birthday today, and it was so much fun!! The room is beautiful and its as good as it looks in the pictures on the website. Our game master was really nice and a big help when we needed hints. The puzzles are challenging, but not hard enough to be overly frustrating. Although it can seem expensive you definitely get your moneys worth for the experience. We made it out, and I definitely wanna do another room here in the future!

I had never done an escape room til I went here. So far I ve done all but one! Every time I ve went the staff is so friendly and eager to help assist! The owner explained everything clearly and concisely and made the experience that much better! One of the BEST escape room places in the area. (Definitely do the Haunted House one, it s so fun and spooky )

My family and I have been here twice in the last month. We made it through the philosophers stone room easily. It s got a cute Harry Potter feel to it. My 8 year old son had a blast. However, The haunted mansion room that my boyfriend and I did alone, not so much. To no fault of the facility it s just level 100 scary. I spent the whole time holding his arm and pointing out clues from afar. Overall, we love game over escape rooms. Can t wait to return and attempt the lost city of Atlantis and money heist.

This place was great! My family and I were in town for the evening and looking for something to do for a few hours that all of us would enjoy. Found Game Over and booked a room. The gentleman working there was friendly and informative. Got us right in for our escape! We picked the haunted mansion. It was great! Had some really scary elements to it! The kids actually worked together instead of arguing, and we figured it out with just a few minutes left. We all had fun and were laughing for hours afterward. Definitely recommend for a good experience!

Its was very fun! They are always booked though, it was hard to get a reservation and book a time that worked for us. It was all worth it and the workers were very nice. The haunted Mansion room especially is extremely popular. The rooms are very well themed and immersive. I would 100% do the haunted Mansion again even though I already did it yesterday. Read full review but some kids might get a bit scared from the haunted Mansion room like my daughter did. The best part is when my family and I were running to escape. There was five seconds left and the second that the timer hit zero we had escaped. Like all escape rooms go, you have one hour to escape. That gives you plenty of time to do all the tasks that your given. It was a great experience. The time flew by so fast! My whole family and I were talking about it all night long during dinner! It was definitely a great added bounus to our family vacation in Tampa! Thank you to all of the friendly workers there who helped us get situated in our room.

Very friendly and nice owner. The temple escape was fun! A little hard, but the owner was helpful and gave us hints when we were struggling. They were also very positive and excited when we did escape! Definitely a must go to if you re looking for a fun and bonding experience!

Absolutely amazing!!! We did 3 rooms not planned and the two guys there were more than happy to help with it! The rooms are amazing as well, the haunted mansion is incredibly scary and genuinely terrified me. The lost city of Atlantis and philosophers stone are also great! Definitely recommend!

Went to the Brandon, FL location for our first escape room experience for our daughters 10th birthday. We picked the Dracula room and really had a great time. The staff was very friendly and helpful during the entire process. Would definitely come back again to try more rooms!
