Escapology Tampa

Beautiful decor, cool technology. I m giving a 3 stars though as it s A) it s not actually at armature works as described so we had to walk from the far side of armature works (after figuring for parking) over a few blocks and what would have been free parking was not. B) Our game master was apparently new so they weren t super helpful, leaving us stopped for a while with no help as we only had two people playing. Additionally, the person in training had a very flat personality and overall we left feeling as though it was just a so so experience even though I love these things. The game s puzzles were not really enjoyable. Not sure if I ll try it again, we ll see.

Escapology is a reliable franchise of escape rooms, and we had every bit the good experience we expected. We completed Orient Express, Lost City, and Who Stole Mona. All three included highly immersive rooms with secret chambers, multi-step puzzles, and a good blend of padlocks, magnetic locks, and other automation. The stories were entertaining, and the props were very appropriate to the theme and solutions. Alycia was our game master for all the games and was a fantastic, engaging host who made the experience all the more enjoyable! In the end, we only had one puzzle out of all three rooms that aggravated us (illogical), and we enjoyed the challenge of Orient Express, but Lost Temple was our favorite.

Escapology was Awesome! Great Visuals, Cool Backstories, Tricky Puzzles & Excellent Staff. Our Game Master; Josh gave us just enough nudges to make all 3 Rooms we did (Lost City, Scooby Doo & Murder on the Orient) FUN while still challenging! Will absolutely be back on our next trip to Tampa, FL and will Definitely be bringing more Escape Artists along with us! P.S. there is a parking garage right above them and they May validate your ticket if you do well enough

We had the best time at Escapology! Our game master Jailene was exceptional! We played TH3 COD3 game and it was just the right difficulty and maturity level for parents and kids aged 10 through 15. The game was not scary for our younger players. In the 60 minutes allotted, there was enough for everyone to do to be involved and have fun. Well be back!

Great experience! The whole vibe was just fun from the start and the ladies working there are so sweet!

The best escape room I ve been to so far! The decor provides a Sherlock Holmes concept and has different quest to escape with different levels. We participated in the Lost City room and it was a medium challenge (which I preferred) I definitely recommend coming here for a date night or hangout with friends

Have done 2 rooms so far and both times we had a lot of fun and enjoyed the challenge! We did the Scooby Doo one with adults and the Lost City room we did with 2 adults and our 3 children that are 12-16 years old. Would definitely recommend!

Had so much fun! Variety of rooms, staff is so helpful and friendly Ive been 2x so far. We did the Mansion ( lost that one) but went back and did Antidote! (Won that one w/ 8 min left) That room was really cool and enjoyed it more than the 1st one. Anyway, check them out, great lounge area, and great experience!

It was absolutely amazing. So much fun, clean and well thought out. I didn t catch his name but the staff member who helped us out today was great as well. We will be back.

Sunday 6/16/2024, family of four, we went to Escapology Tampa hoping to have fun solving Mona Lisa escape room. We start, all padlocks open, safe on the floor open, we found Mona Lisa (the end game target) in one minute room not prepared. We ask to reset the room, we start again, safe still open, flashlights not working, padlocks open, room still not prepared and I dont care attitude from the employees. Instead of family fun terrible experience. We asked manager and explained all the issues, they promised refund and a free game in the future - we never received neither refund nor call from manager to get free game. We feel ripped off.

Wow!!! This is one of the best escape rooms I have experience. We did the murder room and it was super tough but we made it by the skin of our teeth. The gal who helped us was a delight. And will be coming back here again. We were able to crack the room and escape with three people.

really nice place, my girlfriend and i have never been here but we love escape rooms. we did the murder on the orient express room and it was fun but very very complicated. we didn t finish on time and were a little disappointed, only to find out it was their hardest room. it would be nice if that were labeled somewhere because we would have chosen an easier one! we didn t see any difficulty levels on the website.

We had so much fun in the scooby doo room. It was increasingly challenging as we closed in on solving the case. The only reason I am rating a 4 is because their website states they are in armature works and they didnt answer their phone after so many attempts of contacting them. Our group went to armature looking for them and when we couldnt find them, we tried calling fearing we would be late. We figured it out and submitted an edit to their Google maps location.

Really fun if you like puzzles and working with your friends and family. At $50 a person, the quality of the rooms should be better. Some puzzles don t line up right, which will waste valuable time when you can t solve the puzzle because of the bad quality. If you ask for a hint because you are stuck, you will have to wait 5 minutes for the hint to appear. Three out of five.

Escapology was amazing! The room was so much fun and we finished in enough time that we were able to book another room. Super wonderful birthday for my boyfriend! Karolyn was our guide and she really made the experience with her humor and her welcoming demeanor. She made it really worth the money and the time. Thanks again!

We celebrated my daughters 9th birthday party here and it was AMAZING! We had in total 9 kids, and they ALL had a blast (ages ranging from 9-14)! From the birthday party room to the escape room everything was decorated beautifully and the staff were excellent. They helped with everything and made sure she had the best birthday party ever. It s very clean and in a great location. The kids had so much fun and I highly recommend this escape room experience!

Jailene was amazing!! She made our experience so fun and we made it out with 8 seconds left! Lol pushed it to the wire but I would absolutely recommend this location and do the Lost City room! Thank you so much!

This was so much fun!!! Omg, we did 2 rooms and neither disappointed. We ll definitely be back. Also, Rayshod was such a joy in assisting us! Give him a raise!

Such an amazing location. The waiting area has a bar that offers beer or wines. The decor is out of this world. We did the lost city room and was able to escape with 10 minutes remaining. Super cool room and very thought out puzzles. It was fun and the perfect date night. Wednesdays they had a deal for 26% off. Or 50% off if it s 4 or more ppl. Awesome deal. Amelia was super friendly and you can tell she enjoys her job!

The escape room was a lot of fun! Alycia was an amazing Game Master! Please put the level of difficulty on the site. I didn t know there were different difficulty levels until we got here and the one we booked was advanced. We had people in our group who had not played before so that would have been difficult.

Mannsi was an awesome master! Definitely helped out more than I thought she would! Love her!!!

The rooms here are quite nice and organized! The staff is very knowledgeable and professional, definitely as they were able to recommend me places to visit during my stay here. Will return again

The best!!!! Jailene was amazing we had so much fun!!! We have played the escape rooms on the computer but nothing is better than the real thing and OMG!!! So much fun.. definitely coming back!! So exciting!!!!

It was so fun! PERFECT activity for my four kiddos (ages 7, 8 10 and 12). I loved my game master, Maansi. I highly recommend this place. Best escape room we have done - and we ve been to many!

We had such a good time, our time here was a blast we are definitely coming back very soon. Good energy, good vibes, and a good laugh and the drinks are delicious thanks guys for the experience

You can really tell that the staff works really hard for everyone to have a great experience. They are super cute and love their job. Such a great experience last night! Beautiful place and a lot of fun.

Maansi was absolutely amazing, she made our experience unique and amazing. We will coming back because of her. Been to so many escape rooms and she made it so cool and a breeze.

This escape room was Great! Karolyn and Dylan were great and we even escaped! Have done a lot of escape rooms before and the atmosphere of this on was so fun!

We did the Scooby-Doo escape room for my husband s birthday as a date. Josh was amazing! He kept our spirits up the whole time and if we missed something he redirected our attention. Highly recommend! Will definitely be coming back for the other rooms!
