Can You Escape? Tampa

Family Friendly atmosphere with nice games ... we tried the Pirate game and the Santa in July game... Both challenging but great, nice props and all.. staff extremely helpful..... a most coke back for other games. And we will soon.

We completed the Ho Ho Oh No on December 26, 2020. Lee was the staff member that evening. He was very professional and explained all the details of the room. He gave good hints and made the escape room enjoyable without giving to many clues. The room was amazing. We will definitely try another room at Can You Escape in the near future.

Excellent and challenging puzzles. My boyfriend and I did the medieval-themed one and it was super tough but we got out with 20 seconds to spare. One of my favorite escape room businesses. The local-owned places are always better than corporate ones. Thanks, John and Marcus!

Went to the Soviet stage, and it was detailed complete with audio and tiny little FBI costumes that you would wear. I mean this whole experience was surreal. I was so immersed by the puzzles and just the overall atmosphere. I will say this with certainty. Im going to be coming back again and this time Im going to try a different room, as when I got out of the Soviet stage I wanted more!

My husband and I did the medieval adventure room. We escaped with 13 seconds to spare! Sarah was a wonderful guide. She made us feel very welcome. We had a fun time, and well be back!

Had a great time with the medieval room! Ive gone to a few escape rooms before and this one was unique fun! Emma and Bryant T. helped me and my partner around the room, they did a great job. I definitely want to come back to try some of the other rooms.

We had a great time with a group of friends and co workers. The young lady who ran the room for us, Taya, was great. She was very personable and made it fun. We wound up utilizing their special discount and doing another room that night. You get the second room for 20$ per person when you do it the same day. We did the office and medieval. I liked medieval better because it was more puzzle based. We escaped both rooms with at least 10 minutes to spare. Great time all around.

Really great experience! We did the Russian Spy room and it was awesome from the beginning to the very end. Very suspenseful and full of surprises. There is a twist at the beginning of the game that I wont give away but its really a neat touch that I have never seen before. Be warned though... its a tough game! The person I played with has done roughly 60 games and I have done around 70 and it was difficult but we escaped with 34 seconds to spare! I would highly suggest doing this room with more...
Read full review people because even though its possible you will need some clues throughout. The person who was our game master was awesome! He had an accent and everything which really added to the effect of the story world. I will make my way back there soon to play the rest of the games eventually!

We are very experienced room escapists and we did two rooms here. The first room, the office, wasnt that much fun but the second room we did (medieval theme) was tons of fun! Neither room was very difficult, but the medieval rooms neat puzzles really made for a great time. They do have a great deal where you can play twice in one day for a discounted rate. Would recommend!

We loved Gina as our host when we came in last week! And were lucky that she was able to accommodate us with a later time (dinner ran late). We did the pirate room and had so much fun! Cant wait to come back!

I was hesitant going to an escape room type place. I had never been and have a bit of anxiety when it comes to being locked into small rooms. It was a team building event for work so I needed to go. We had a blast! We were all so excited to figure everything out and had 7 minutes to spare. The room was big, the air was flowing good and it smelled good in a locked room. I didnt think about any anxiety and instead, was busy having fun. The staff was great! Friendly, knowledgeable and upbeat. Would definitely go again!

We did it ! We completed the Pirate room with almost 8 minutes left. Lee was an awesome host. We had blast working together to solve the room. What a great way to spend a hot rainy Saturday with close friends. We will return.

We held an event for our congregation over the weekend, and all participants from 10 years old to some in their 60s had a great time! The staff was very pleasant, the place was clean, and the challenge plenty difficult and very creative. Organizing a group event with Kristi was very easy and she was very accommodating for our group. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I came just the two of us and took on the medieval room . Staff member Diane was super friendly. We got out of the room 8 seconds over the hour time limit and even though we didnt make the escape in time it was still super fun. We loved it and will definitely be back with a group to take on the zombie room next ! I would recommend to anyone. Definitely an original and fun out of the box date.

Staff was super friendly and helpful - his clues were the perfect balance of useful without making it too easy. The puzzles were very difficult, but they were very fun and I loved the way everything came together. This is my second time doing an escape room and it was by far my best experience. They seem to have a great variety of rooms with good themes and different levels of difficult. My team did the Ho Ho Oh No room and our coworkers did the Jose Gaspar room. Everyone had a great time and the accommodations for our team lunch were great as well.

I came to this place twice, one for my little sisters birthday party and the very next day for an event. I did the same medieval room again (not the workers fault, it s mine ) but was an amazing experience, well thought of, so many options, and more! For a first time experience, I was amazed and it met the expectations I wanted! The staff were really nice and helpful, and the waiting room was very nice, with lots of chairs or couches, and even icebreaker breaker questions to make it much more pleasant! Totally recommend!

Staff was really helpful and attentive. Being that it was my group and Is first ever escape room experience lets and we were thoroughly challenged. We did the steampunk room and the puzzles were quite complex. Lets just say that well be choosing an easier room next time. Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves.

Lots of fun! Staff was very nice and welcoming. Our game master, Marcus, helped us just enough and we were able to escape with 6 seconds to spare. Our group did the Medieval room and it wasn t too hard but the right amount of challenging. The rooms and props looked amazing and the lighting and music perfected the ambiance. 100% recommend to escape room enthusiasts or beginners!

Fantastic experience!! We did the Escape from London challenge. It was amazing. The staff are very nice and accommodating, the challenge really pretty tough but we did it (my 11 year old son and me). Would highly recommend and go again on a different challenge one day.

As escape game enthusiasts, we were excited to try some new rooms while in Tampa, and we were not disappointed in our choice! The room was clever but doable, challenges were fun and varied, and the game master, Sean, was extra nice and made the experience even smoother. We enjoyed the room so much that we will be going back for more!

This was my first time doing an escape room. Went with my husband and some friends who had gone the night before. They did the Medieval room the night before. They liked it so much, they talked me into it and I had a blast! We all did! We did the HO HO HO, Oh No room (Christmas room). It was certainly challenging but we made it out with 16 minutes to spare. The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. We would recommend this place for sure. Cannot wait to go back.

2/27/2022: This was my first escape room experience and I was not disappointed at all. My group picked the Jose Gaspar pirate room and Emma H. was a WONDERFUL game master. The time really flies by because you are not only put to the test mentally, youre also having a ton of fun. The rooms and puzzles are put together very well - challenging, yet not impossible. We had such a fun time we decided to book another room shortly afterward. The Christmas-themed room was equally impressive and Emma did a great job of not spoon-feeding us any unearned hints, but you can tell they want you to have fun and succeed. We are already planning to come back for the London room and I cant wait.

We had a birthday party for our 12 year old. The girls all had a blast! Lee was great to work with from setting up, coordinating colors for the party room, and helping us choose the best escape room for their age group. He also was patient going over the rules, joked with them and offered clues as needed. We will definitely go back! I d like to try one of the other rooms with a group of adults.

Once we found the building, everything was wonderful. When we walked through the door, we were promptly greeted with smiles and warm welcomes. Our game master was Lee, and he was such a pleasure to speak with. He guided us through everything pretty thoroughly, and gave very helpful hints when we inevitably got stuck on a few (a lot) of the puzzles. I went to Can You Escape? for a first date, and with the help of Lee and the great room design, it will certainly not be the last date! We plan on returning with friends to conquer a more challenging room!

Paul was our host and he was awesome. We did the Office room. We had four people and another group of four joined. The room was fun, but I think it would have been more challenging with less people. Overall, great experience and we will be back to do the other rooms.

Awesome time! You and your friends / family will definitely enjoy it. We did the office and with a few hints were able to break out with 2 minutes left. So cool. Jake and Adriana were great, had a lot of fun talking with them before and after, and they really added to the overall positive experience. Cant wait to come back and try one of the other rooms.

My office recently went here for a fun team building experience. We chose the Christmas themed escape room. So much fun!! Jay was so very nice and professional. There was even a tiny malfunction with our room but he caught it ASAP and fixed it. He was watching and being vigilant. Great experience and we will definitely be coming back! Came here for a birthday party and it was a blast! Our Gamemaster was Lee and he was extremely thorough and patient in explaining the rules of the game and pointing our group in the right direction. The rooms are extremely well thought out with its clues and their settings range from novice to advanced. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

We did the Murder Mystery and it was AWESOME! The rooms are excellent and the staff were great! The staff played the role of suspects and Bryce played his part perfect! Our group had a blast and we will be back to try and escape the other rooms! If your looking for a fun night this is the place! Thank you CYE for putting on a night to remember!

We had a group of 20 people that did a few different rooms at Can You Escape? And it was amazing!!! The rooms, clues, and puzzles were so clever and made it so much fun to solve! Paul and Nat were amazing instructors and made it so much fun and were so into the role of instructors. Would 110% recommend to anyone! Thanks for an amazing time!
