Escapology Fort Lauderdale

Weve been twice. Both times were extremely challenging. Game Masters are very helpful, and it is definitely a fun thing to do on Fort Lauderdale Beach to beat the heat. We will go again and again every time we visit the area.

It was great super fun. We booked the day of and the front desk was very helpful when booking the room. We started late unfortunately cause our group took long to arrive(our fault ofc). When in the room, you have about an hour to solve it(it costed 40.44). We did the seven deadly sins room with 7 people and didn t even finish but it was a fun experience and when time was up, one of the workers came in and explained what would have happened if we finished completely. We booked the room online and I did not see any indication that the room was the second hardest difficulty. Also i wish we had more time, an hour is not enough time in my opinion for that room

We had an excellent experience and so much fun. Juan greeted us most politely and handled all the legal formalities professionally and quickly. The Murder on the Orient Express was fantastic, and very challenging. Teamwork is the key to success. Hailey (I hope I spelled her name correctly!) did an amazing job offering us hints and direction. It was overall enjoyable and a great way to spend an hour. Highly recommend it!

We had the best time doing the Scooby-Doo mystery. It was 4 adults and one 12yo and everyone helped and had fun. I would recommend it and I will be going back. Its clean, very hip, and the puzzles are challenging and unique. Parking was easy and its in a very popular area. The beach is right across the road.

Me and my friends had so much fun completing the Heist escape room. The room was clean, and it was definitely difficult but we were able to escape with some clues. The staff was also very nice.

Very friendly staff. 3 adults and 2 kids (10y & 7y) did the Scooby Doo room and we had a blast. Kids were asking when can we come back before we even left lol. Thanks again to the staff for making it such a good time.

Amazing, scape rooms is one of my favorites, Ill be back to try the other rooms, I would like to have the photos you guys took. I have sent an email with the request, how can I get the pictures?

We have done several escape rooms and this one is pretty good. We escaped from the Arizona Shootout in 51 minutes using all 3 hints. The clues are challenging but not over the top. We were able to make progress to a point before needing hints. The room was well put together, the story was interesting, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Wed go back if in the area again.

Im not a fan of escape rooms but my family loves them. With that being said, this was the best escape room weve been to. The staff was so nice and helpful. My 8 year old had a blast. This was the perfect thing to do while on vacation and trying to avoid the rain. Wed definitely go back!

We were late, for one we had family emergency but for two the location is packed with traffic and there is no mention of this anywhere on their site. So to get five minutes, it took 20 I had called for days before with no response to make sure we purchased kids mode , no answer and it didn t seem like the one we did was kids mode. We did not escape cause we lost 15 min due to being late truly due to no fault of our own . It was a lot of money for only half the experience and I can t give it...

Overall best escape room place. Ive been to multiple locations and the Fort Lauderdale one is hands down the best. I ve played all of their rooms now and have had the best experience every time. Every puzzle is well thought out and detailed. Hailey and Juan are the best!!! Customer service is amazing here. Perfect for all ages, I highly suggest escapology to everybody!!!

I played 7 Deadly Sins on the 16th of July, the game was fun and challenging however the staff is what truly made the experience, our host Juan did such an amazing job helping us with not only finding the location (it s a little hard to find but we luckily left early) but he also did such a great job at explaining everything clearly and took very good care of us as we waited for the game to be available as we got there while the prior game was still finishing up. And Eddie during the game was extremely helpful with hints and definitely made us laugh (which goes to show they do actually listen to us lol). All in all I will most definitely come back with my family for the next game.

We were greeted at the front by Hailey and Juan and they were both so nice and knowledgeable. We played two games there and they were both amazing game masters and gave us the best time. After the games they were able to answer all our questions we had about the company and the puzzles in the room which we thought was very impressive. We will definitely be returning. Thank you!!!!!

So much fun for our family of 6. The extra clues really helped and our host Juan did a fantastic job explaining the process. We will definitely do this again.

Eddy and Juan were exceptional escape room hosts. Eddys enthusiasm and clear instructions set a fun and adventurous tone, while Juans problem-solving skills and calm demeanor kept us engaged and motivated. Together, they created an unforgettable experience with their attentive and supportive approach. Highly recommended!

Hailey and Juan are the best game masters here. We ve played multiple rooms here and our favorite overall is the Scooby Doo room. Juan explained the rules to us and Hailey was the one giving us hints. You only get 3 free hints but she gave us so many more which were very appreciated. If it weren t for her we would still be trying to figure out that room. They offer half off to play another game the same day and send you home with a 20% discount code. Cant get better than this!Overall had many good experiences here and will be back soon.

I am giving this two stars solely based on the room btw!! We did the Scooby doo room, which was overall a very pleasant and unique theme! However, the workers there were not the most pleasant people I have had interactions with in my lifetime. We initially showed up early (with our waivers already completed) and no one came out to greet us until a few minutes later. Then, some of our group members had to use the bathroom which is when the worker came back out and asked if we were ready to get started...

Once our members were back (which was after the time the room started) we couldn t find the worker to get started for another good couple minutes. The room itself was really good but when we first put in the final code (which made the keypad turn green) our gameguide was prompting us with hints and clues we had already done just to put in the exact same code which finally ended our game. From there, we had to wait another couple minutes for a worker to come grab us from our rooms to take us to the photo wall. Then, we had to wait another few minutes before the same worker came back with the equipment for the photo. It overall just took a very long time to the point we felt very neglected. Once we were getting ready to leave the worker finally decided to start being more pleasant just in time to ask for a review and coming back to do another room. On top of that, we set a record for that room but had to advocate for ourselves to get our group on the board which is just a whole other level of strange and lack of enthusiasm from the workers. As somebody who has done over 100 escape rooms and currently works at an escape room, the workers truly hurt our experience here and solidified our decision to never come back even though we were offered a 50% discount.

I went with my daughter and her friend. We had a great time. It is super entertaining for kids and adults. Im sure Ill repeat it again with another theme.

Over all not too bad though I would like to provide some constructive criticism. Our first interaction was a call we received, letting us know we were late. How it was expressed, left a bad taste in my mouth. Customer service via phone can be improved. I will say that our host was kind and overall did a good job with the introduction. I myself work at an escape room and am often flexible if the group is a few minutes late. At this location they were rigid with time. Again...
Read full review, for the satisfaction of customers I would consider having a grace period. When sending hints, I would encourage the game masters to observe the group to see if it was understood. Our experience was that before we could grasp what the hint meant, it was removed. That aside we enjoyed ourselves and liked that there were multiple rooms. Hope these things will be taken into consideration as I only want your guests to have a positive experience!

My group and I went to do the 7 Deadly Sins room at their Fort Lauderdale location on Sunday (Feb. 25) at 1:10 pm. We left at a reasonable time but Fort Lauderdale traffic was absolutely awful. As soon as we realized wed be late due to traffic, we decided to call (before 1:10) to let them know. We called about 15 times from four different phones in the span of almost 10 minutes and nobody ever responded. At first, it dialed for a while but nobody picked up, after like the 5th try it just went straight...
Read full review to voicemail. Once we arrived, it was very confusing to find the place (you also have to pay to park at a parking garage to get to there). The person at the front, Diana, didn t have the nicest attitude and when we asked why they weren t picking up the phone, she said Cause we were busy and we don t have time to sit on the phones. She gave us the option to do the room we booked but take away about 20 minutes from our time, do a different room, or come back at a different time. We agreed on just starting the room we booked with less time and have our other friends, who were parking, join us later; and even then, the person at the front said to another person Go get [the room] it ready, they re gonna do it, implying the room wasn t even set up for us beforehand. When we were brought inside the room for our intro, the TV wasn t set up and the room was just pitch black until they were able to get the transmission to work. We were told we couldn t touch anything in the room until the videos were over even though we had already watched the video on their website and it was super long (plus we just wanted to get started quick so we wouldn t waste any more time). They were never able to get the countdown transmission to work so we never actually knew how much time we had left. Our game master, Kas, helped us with a few things but would immediately remove the hint even if we weren t done figuring out what we had to do. We also asked her to update us on how much time we had left multiple times and I assume she wasn t paying attention as we were only given it once (after asking for so long). Though it was fairly small, the room was decently decorated and wasn t scary, just dark. We were given flashlights to use during the game and one of them died, we asked to if we could it replaced and they never came back with a new battery. We ended up getting out with 12 minutes left, not sure if that was with or without the time reduction. They did have some good promos if we wanted to come back but honestly, I doubt we will. In sum, the employees were extremely rude, the timer in the room never worked right and they never cared to tell us how much time we had left, and the room itself simply was not worth us coming back to do another one.

Weve done around 10 escape rooms over the years. We did the Scooby-Doo room on our vacation. The staff were pleasant and the room was interesting and well put together. We enjoyed the puzzles. Our issue and the reason for 2 stars is our game master Juan was not paying attention. We only know his name because during our introduction the host said your gamemaster will be Juan be respectful to him and he will be respectful to you. Read full review was clearly foreshadowing. I suspect Juan gets alot of criticism from guests. Either Juan was not making an effort to do his job or he is tasked with monitoring too many escape rooms at one time. Thats for the company to decide. The problem we had is entirely correctable by management. I do not want to ruin the room for anyone so I will not be entirely clear. 10 minutes in we solved a knocking puzzle that clearly required a gamemaster to push a button for us to continue. We executed the correct sequence more than a dozen times, after 6 minutes of frustration (an eternity in an escape room) we asked for a clue and were given the answer not a hint and it was the exact operation we were just performing. We had to press the hint button to get the gamemaster to attend to us. Then a few puzzles later the same thing. We hold a red magnifying glass to a spot to get a message but it doesnt come. We now waste 10 minutes trying to get the gamemasters attention. Then they give us an answer not a hint. But that was only required because they didnt make the Scooby-Doo screen do its thing when we completed the puzzle. In addition requests for hints took about 2 minutes to be responded to. After losing 25% of our time to gamemaster inattention we left our room unsolved after 60 minutes. Perhaps the often booked room had malfunctions, even if that were the case its the gamemasters responsibility to smooth out those issues that did not happen and we left with the only negative feelings weve ever had leaving an escape room. The location is great and room is impressive. correcting the issues we experienced should be easy.

we played scooby doo and 7 deadly sins and i had the best time here with my family, the staff were amazing and gave us the best customer service! Alex greeted us at the front and we felt very welcomed. Hailey was our game master and she was incredible and had very well timed hints! Juan hosted us back and he explained the rules to us but he was funny at the same time. Eduardo took our photo and offered us half off for another game which we couldn t deny! the rooms themselves were so cool and each puzzle were so well thought out. this is undoubtedly my favorite place yet, i highly recommend!!!
