This escape room seriously puts every other escape room to shame...like, I dont know how Im going to be able to do escape rooms at other places and not compare the quality to this. Trust me, youre getting what you pay for. We did one of the train experiences and it was so cool. Theres tons of secret rooms to open up as you go along. I recommend having at least 4 people though, because many of the challenges/puzzles require two people working together. Were definitely going to come back and do all the other ones! Super fun.
I came here with my bestie who s never done an escape room before, and I was completely blown away by the build quality and the puzzles of the two-people rooms that I did, The Wizard Realm and The Jungle Dimension. I had tons of great conversation with our game master, Peter, who is a true expert and loves what he does. Before you even step foot into the door of your room, the immersion begins (especially in The Wizard Realm), and it pays off in the end I don t want to spoil anything My friend...
is a huge Harry Potter fan, and she totally loved The Wizard Realm. It has no locks, and everything is run by magic (if you know what I mean). The room AND sound design was awesome, and I was mouth agape, taking in the careful attention to detail in the room. There was a cool mix of puzzles, and you have to carefully observe everything in the room because it all has a clever purpose. It draws inspiration from Harry Potter, so it has to be on your bucket list if you re a fan. Since we had such an amazing time in The Wizard Realm, I asked if we could book another on the spot, and Peter readily scheduled us for an excursion to the jungle (keep in mind that it was a Tuesday). For a two-person escape room, the pricing is extremely reasonable for what you receive here. The Jungle Dimension is more of your standard codes and locks escape room if that s more your style. The start is a slow burn as you explore your new surroundings, but by the end, you accumulate so much momentum working on the main objective. There are more physically skilled challenges to do, so if you like tactile tasks, then you would like this room. This room had me and my friend dancing inside because, yet again, its atmosphere and sound design were surprising, immersive, and entertaining. I thoroughly enjoyed The Wizard Realm because I love to see the unique ways that businesses engineer their escape rooms, so I had a lot of fun discovering the mechanics of the room. I booked here in the first place for The Wizard Realm, but my Harry Potter-obsessed friend said that she actually enjoyed doing the puzzles in The Jungle Dimension more and being hands-on. The final cherry on top was the prize at the end for winning. I was lucky and left with a special memento that the owner 3D prints himself. All of the little touches throughout my experience make Puzzle Theory one of my favorite escape rooms of all time. I m very confused why I didn t come here sooner. My friend, who was hesitant about doing an escape room, found herself enjoying the experience more than she expected. This place is perfect for both the escape room noob and fanatic. I will return here to finish the other rooms, and I have no doubt in my mind that the other three rooms are even better. Thanks again, Peter!
My husband and I do lots of escape rooms. This was by far one of the most challenging, yet most fun we have done. The room we completed did not have your typical locks and codes but was more mind challenging which we enjoyed. Despite its location, we would come here again and bring friends.
Warehouse 13 was great for it being just my wife and I. The gentleman here was very kind and welcoming. We will definitely be back! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you!
Overall fantastic! This place started our escape room binge and we have not been able to stop since. I honestly love the woman who runs the place, shes super cool and down to earth! The games are so different than what we have been experiencing and i wish to find more games like this place offers! Also, i had purchased a we the enthusiast passport here and it comes with some cool perks! The keychains they offer are the cutest things and i cannot shut up about them!
First time here and with 8 adults we laughed a lot but did not solve the final puzzle. The young man who helped was great and there were several rooms to get out of but we had a lot of fun for an hour.
Great escape room, the first I ve ever done. Now that I ve done a dozen or so I can see that it s a little rough around the edges in terms of production but super clever and uses a ton of puzzle mechanics to keep the experience varied and challenging. Have to try them again to see what new rooms they have devised since 2017. I m sure it has evolved and I am excited to check it out.
Amazing time! I recommend to everyone and all ages. The owners did a great job with the puzzle and details. We are definitely going back soon...
My husband and I have done about 300 rooms, and we wish all locations were this amazing! You cant go wrong with any of their rooms. Experience is definitely not required; first-timers would love these rooms as well. My favorite room was the Jungle Experience because I loved the theme. The puzzles in all the rooms are enjoyable and fun. This place is also family-owned, and we enjoyed meeting both of the owners. Theyre kind and focused on providing an optimal customer experience. Definitely check this place out!
We did the Warehouse 13 room and it was great! It challenged us but was also solvable. It was accessible for our friend in a scooter. The puzzles were interactive and not just combination locks. There were doors that open, panels that slide away and good sound effects. The staff was greatI recommend and will return for other rooms!
My husband and I did The Wizarding Realm and it was awesome. The room was challenging to solve, but we did it with only a second to spare and 3 clues. The props and decorations were very well done. Nothing felt cheesy, fake, or out of place. The puzzles were challenging, but not too hard. The staff were very friendly and the whole place was very clean. We ll definitely be going for another date night in the future. This was my first escape room and his fourth, and he said it was the best one he s done.
The theming of the room my wife and I played was fun. We really appreciated that there were little-to-no use of combination locks. The room used automated triggers based on things you touched or activated in some ways. While we relied on hints, we likely didnt need them. I got a little paranoid about how slow of a start we got, but finished with plenty of time to spare. The service, room experience, and price were great. Highly recommended!
I did already two escape rooms with my colleagues. The first one was for our new group of people to hard so we didn t finish that. The second we finished 3 minutes before the time was over. Very creative and nice puzzles! Thanks for the good time and we will show up again for sure!
This place was amazing. We have gone to many escape rooms and this was one of our favorites. We did warehouse 13 which is creepy but my 11 year old Son did fine and it was not scary more so tests fears. Super interactive and definitely was worth it. It beats the ones I ve been to in Holyoke MA and Hadley MA. Worth the drive for sure!
The staff is super friendly. We didnt make it out of the room in the hour but it was so much fun (there were only two of us and it was our first time). Really well done and challenging but not to the point of being frustrating. I will definitely be going back!
We had so much fun! We did the Spectral Rift puzzle and it was so challenging and fun! The two employees were so nice and they were very patient with our ridiculous crew. Definitely the hardest escape room I ve done and good vibes all around!
Went here with a group of 4 people for the train heist. We had never been to an escape room before and as others have mentioned, this blew us away.. The staff was very cool and helpful. The build quality of the heist puzzles were great. We figured there was no way we were going to beat it but luckily we completed with 1min left. Excellent experience and I would recommend to anyone who appreciates using your mind! Will be back
This experience really made me want to come back and make this a frequent activity cause let me tell you this was amazing! Very perfectly set up, and the customer service was also excellent. The puzzles were very well thought out, interesting themes, challenging as well! Will be coming back soon! Loved every minute!
Best escape room weve been to so far. Various puzzles to solve, teamwork is a must.
A solid hour plus of challenges and teamwork was a great experience and fun for all in our group of six.
Ive gone 3 times now and every time we always have a blast! All of the rooms have fantastic stories and make you really think. The workers are so pleasant and funny. Definitely worth going if you love escape rooms!
We just got back from completing The Jungle Dimension room with two players and had a great time! This room is one of their smaller rooms, but it offered plenty of varied puzzles that kept us challenged and entertained with a few surprises along the way. We are fairly experienced escape room players but have never visited this location so were not sure what to expect. While the exterior is unassuming, we found the room to be well-designed, nicely themed, with a number of hands-on puzzle elements...
for more interactive playstyles. The puzzles were solid and well-crafted and were challenging without being frustrating. Hints were free and the gamemaster was very responsive, which made for a nice relaxed play experience. We also liked how affordable the room was and felt it was an excellent value for the price of admission. The game master was friendly and helpful and shared a lot of information with us about puzzle theory and nearby rooms we might want to check out. One of my favorite things was the handmade prize we got for successfully completing the room. I have never gotten a reward for winning before, but I think its a great idea and an excellent memento. If youre new to escape rooms and are looking for a low cost way to try it out for you and a small group, I would recommend puzzle theory. They seem like a good introduction to the hobby. We will definitely be back!
This escape room was top notch! Upon arrival, we were greeted by very friendly (and funny) staff. They took the time to explain the payment processing and adjusted our charge for the additional people who attended. They offered us restroom use, which was considerate since Im sure people may occasionally forget otherwise! They had excellent ambiance in he Warehouse 13 room from the visuals, to the lighting, to the sound effects. The puzzle variety was impressive and the game itself was challenging, but we escaped successfully, as we were not limited by how many clues we could request. We all had a great time, and would definitely recommend to other people looking for something interesting to experience!
We have done both Warehouse 13 and Rebel Run. Both were great rooms. Mostly puzzle based. Very few, if any, locks. Most puzzles are parallel- meaning if you have a larger group, you re not all working the same puzzle at the same time. Well decorated and convincing environment. Friendly staff. Great experience.
Played P.T. Railways: Spectral Rift with a group of 8, and we all loved it! Puzzles were unique, fun, and interesting. There were so many puzzles that it felt much longer than it actually was-- which we liked, because some escape rooms can FEEL like they only took 30 minutes. This one had us on high energy throughout the whole hour. Were still talking about the puzzles and how much we liked them hours after finishing the room. Some more details at the end, but theyre a little spoiler-y, so tread...
carefully! I really appreciate that we were able to book a time and have flexibility on the number of people in the room. Our group can be a little flaky or last-minute, so this was perfect for us! Its really rare to see, so thank you!! I wish we couldve known the average time or quickest time, or the completion rate, since were a competitive group and motivated by other peoples scores. Shoutout to Peter for accommodating our same-day booking. Both of the Railway escape rooms are set in the same environment with different puzzles (so Im not sure wed do the other Railway room, but we definitely want to try Warehouse 13 or Wizards!) and a couple of our puzzles were set to the other rooms setting, but they werent huge blockers. I would just keep it in mind if you do one of the Railway rooms last-minute. (We also want to say: we like your hat, Peter.) [somewhat spoiler warning] The clues for *some* puzzles (but only a few) were a little all over the place, and didnt really match the lock. Not a bad thing but it made finding out the right solution to some puzzles a little unsatisfying. I think that tends to be the experience with combination lock puzzles, which is okay, but this room had a large amount of those. For a few other puzzles, wed be stuck at a point where only one or two people could be doing something and wed all have to wait for that person to be done. Also not necessarily a bad thing, and its how it is sometimes-- just something to keep in mind if you have a large group.
Puzzle theory Is great. We did the PT Railway Rebel Run that included several tasks to be solved, and each of us was able to solve a few of the clues. The room had all four of us fully engaged. This is a unique place. They designed and built it all and they did a wonderful job. You will have fun.
i loved this place!!! my boyfriend and i completed the jungle room today. we live about 2 hours away and our plans fell through last minute. we found this place online and saw they had rooms that two people could play. this is not very common and i love that there is that option here! we have done about 6 other escape rooms and this is my favorite by far! all of the staff were super friendly and i loved all of the props, lights, music, and noises. the only sad thing is that i didn t realize we got...
a prize for finishing! i read it on the screen but didn t realize what the prize was. so sad as i would have loved the prize for the memories. adding a small prize is also a very unique part of this escape room! love that this is a single business and not a chain as well. i feel like the thoughtfulness, creativity, and passion really showed through to create such a unique place. needless to say, despite the long ride, i will be back with more family and friends!
So 2 1/2 weeks ago we did Warehouse 13, by far my favorite escape room experience, until we did Rebel Run 2 days ago. All I can say is wow, the rooms are amazing. Kudos to them for design and great use of teamwork. Ive been to other escape rooms where theres the few people who solve everything while the others just look for clues, this experience makes everyone contribute something. We have 2 different employees coordinate our games both were awesome and had great personalities. Id love to have our next team builder here hopefully they have corporate discounts. Cant wait til the next one
Just finished PT Rebel Run Railroad, what a blast. We went with our adult children and had a fantastic experience, nice way to hang out together. We got out with 3 minutes to spare (thanks to our kids, lol).
The best escape room Ive EVER been. The staff really get into character, and it was actually really challenging and fun. Completely decorated with so many little details
