The Markey Escape Rooms Fort Collins

We really enjoyed the Midnight in Wonderland escape room. We had 5 adults in our group and it was challenging, but not impossible and the hints came in handy! The theme was fun and we will definitely go back!

Incredible attention to detail on the room. Loved the feel of the business from the moment we walked in the door and were happily greeted by the employee. The puzzles were challenging but fair and we were shocked how many puzzles they were able to organize into the game play. Having access to a clipboard and paper was so helpful and something I havent seen at any other escape room location Ive visited. Thank you for making my sons 18th birthday a memorable one.

this Alice in wonderland escape room was delightful. using the paintbrush was probably the highlight of my 2022 so far really fun, challenging, good time!!

We had a great time!!! Staff was very friendly from the minute we got there (even though we were late). Very accommodating. Let us stay longer after time ran out so we could finish. You can tell they take pride in what they do.

Had a great time with my friends solving the Alice in Wonderland themed mystery. The staff was super nice and enthusiastic about their job! they made sure the experience was fun for everyone. I highly recommend for a small group.

So much fun and really family friendly! I went here with 5 of my kids, aged 5 to 15. We were all able to participate. The room was challenging but we could ask for clues when we wanted and were offered clues when it was obvious we needed them. The props, lighting and music were engrossing without being scary for the kids. Lots of different types of puzzles to solve. Definitely exceeded my expectations. Can t wait to go back!

This was a fantastic experience that my whole family enjoyed! We brought our 3 young kids (8, 6, 4) and escaped from Midnight in Wonderland! The clues were great, the having to work together was so fun, and the lovely lady that helped us was so kind and friendly! Cannot say enough good things about this experience, except I wish we would have done the other one as well!

Had a great time, staff was friendly and fun. The puzzles were not to difficult but still a fun challenge to work on collaboratively and the room and set up were very fun and immersive with a lot of variety. Really enjoyed doing the tomb of the forgotten with my D&D group. Cant wait to try it again with a different room.

Our host was awesome! Did a great job of introducing us to the Midnight in Wonderland back story and room. The room was very well designed with fun puzzles for our whole family.

Super FUN birthday experience! My wife surprised me with a visit to Markey Escape Room for my birthday, and it was a BLAST!! It was myself, her and a friend of ours, and was the first time any of us would ever done an escape room. This one was an Egyptian tomb theme. The set design was really well done, it really added to the atmosphere, and the puzzles were great and very creative. Challenging, but we did manage to solve it with only 13 seconds left (we had an hour)! Teamwork and communication was key. I would absolutely go again, and I m looking forward to what they come up with next!

Spoiler: This is a truly excellent escape room! My wife and I have done over 20 different rooms, and Tomb of the Forgotten is one of the very best. I wont include any actual spoilers (obviously), but I will say that Markey avoids many of the common pitfalls in escape rooms and ascends to elite status. There are *actual puzzles* here, not just finding a number on a wall and putting it into a lock. The props are very well constructed, and the story fits well. This is challenging (we didnt quite finish in time, but were allowed to complete the room anyway), but I personally view that as a positive. Completing this room feels like an accomplishment, not an inevitability. Highly recommended!

We just did Midnight in Wonderland and it was SO fun! Awesome clues, very interesting and challenging but doable. Great for 4 people! Cannot recommend highly enough!

Incredibly fun escape room experience! We vacillated between being completely immersed in the Alice in Wonderland experience and stepping back to say, Wow! throughout our hour trying to solve all the puzzles at the room set up, the creative puzzles, and when another door would open to a magical new area. Even our 4 and 6 year old enjoyed the time and marveled at the experience. We kept thinking about the escape room and the different puzzles and riddles the rest of that day and into the next...

It was obvious that so much time and thought has gone into making the rooms and the location as a whole. We loved the movie theater motif of the Markey and thought the staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and fun in how they set us up for our time with them. I would highly recommend this place and we cant wait to visit again!

Absolutely amazing. They do such a great job setting up the rooms, the puzzles are fun, and challenging. They are a little pricey, but it s a normally price that you would find anywhere else. Otherwise, 10/10 would definitely recommend.

I have done both of the rooms at Markey now and they are both so fun and creative. We did Tomb of the Forgotten this weekend with my small business employee team for our holiday party and it was so much fun!

We had a private session on a Sunday and had an amazing time! We did the Tomb of the Forgotten with 6 adults to celebrate 2 birthdays. The team really developed the story, and the room was challenging but intuitive. I would definitely reserve another experience!

This place was so much fun!! It was my son and I first time ever doing an escape room and we loved it!! I found the room to be challenging in a fun way, while also having a cool story to follow! We will definitely be back to check out the other room they offer!

We have been to The Markey before to try out their Tomb of the Forgotten escape room, and loved the layout and intricacy of the puzzles. Their new room, Midnight in Wonderland, is an absolutely fantastic addition!! Fun, witty, and wonderfully imaginative puzzles that bring a satisfying challenge. We could not have been more impressed with this new room, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an escape room in the Northern CO area. Incredible!

I loved this place so much. My family went today(10-7-23) we went into the Alice in Wonderland and we all had a really good experience. Staff were so nice . They let us had a little more time to finish!! Overall, I really recommend this place!!

I went with my 12 and 10 year old kids to Midnight in Wonderland. We made it with 3:59 to spare. It was a bit challenging for us, we needed a few hints to make it through, but it was so much fun! The kids were engaged and were able to solve many of the puzzles. I couldnt have done it without them. The room was well decorated, and felt like we were in a wonderland. Would definitely recommend the Markey Escape Rooms.

Amazing customer service and presentation! Our attendant was so friendly and seemed passionate about her work! The tomb did get very warm for the 7 of us - though perhaps appropriately so for adding Egyptian tension! ^_^ I would just advise dressing to stay cool! Small and useful flashlights with bracelet loops, paper, clipboards, and pencils were provided! We were all adults varying from late 20s to 60s! Very challenging puzzles, though the hints seemed personalized and extremely helpful when we asked for them! The room setup looked excellent overall, and the effects in sound and game mechanics were so immersive and wonderful! We got out with just around 3 minutes to spare, which was incredibly thrilling! The story was so inspiring and immersive too! I chose this for my birthday party, and it did not disappoint! I will be going back!

My friends and I did the Tomb Escape Room. There were four of us and our first Escape Room experience. I couldnt believe how quickly the hour went - we were moving fast solving the puzzles. Never a dull moment. A lot of laughter. The puzzles were challenging and fun. The room and clue designs were excellent. Great staff. Well done!

We had a mix of escape room adventurers from a first-timer to an old-hat with more than 40 escape rooms under her belt and still almost missed getting out. It was a great time for all involved! Definitely in my top 5 favorite escape rooms. It was different than most escape rooms and that was part of the charm and the hosts were terrific. So nice that they offer a student and child discount too. Cant wait to try their next escape room!

I went with some friends from school as an end of the semester celebration had a great time in the Tomb of the Forgotten! We got out at the last second. As someone who used to work at an escape room, I found the puzzles challenging but fun and the room set was immersive and well designed. We were given hints as needed without penalty but I think we also did a good job not asking for too many.

I absolutely loved The Tomb Of The Forgotten! Our group of 5 had a blast getting submerged in the story line and taking in the detailed room. The puzzles were very creative, fun, and the puzzles were almost all unique from any of the other 10+ rooms Ive attempted to escape. The difficulty was perfect for our mix of new-comers as well as escape veterans. Each of us had the opportunity to solve some puzzles, and each puzzle had us all thinking together. I cant wait to try out their other rooms as they come out! The Markey provides a great team-building opportunity or just a great way to bond while getting lost (hopefully not entombed!) in another world. I highly recommend this room and this business.

My sister, brother-in-law, and I love escape rooms, and we all agreed that this is the best place weve been to. The themes are clever, the puzzles are diverse, and the attention to detail is incredible. The Alice room was very impressive. We had a great time and cant wait to be back.

The Alice in Wonderland theme was the best one we have done! Our 8 year old had a blast, this was his first escape room. We will be coming back for the other theme!

Such a fun experience! We ve been to several Escape Rooms and this one was just difficult enough to prove a challenge but not insurmountable. The setup was really well crafted and the staff was welcoming and explained everything clearly. Since we had kids with us this time, it was nice that the rules are a bit more forgiving. Thanks for a great time!
