Golden Puzzle Room Lakewood

Our whole family loved hunting for gold!!!! All 5 of us were involved. The game is VERY interactive and fun. We had a blast...no pun intended.

This was our first time doing a room and golden puzzle room. We called in advance and asked which room was the most family friendly. Staff recommended the Golden Zephyr room. We finished the room in 50 minutes, used zero hints, and found the puzzles fun and approachable. Our son (8) was able to help us the entire time, and we had a blast. We would come back to do another one of their rooms.

Visited from out of town, so glad I picked this business, the owners were great and we enjoyed the conversation between games! We loved the themes and puzzles, fun designs and good game flow. After so many rooms and different companies, this experience will stand out for us and made our trip special.

Four of us wanted to do an escape room and called to see if there were any openings tonight. I was told they had some spots and it was super easy to schedule a time over the phone about an hour out. We did The Lighthouse room and it was one of the most fun escape rooms that weve done! The puzzles were very clever and they dont over rely on opening locks like some places. We finished the room just shy of 2 minutes and we needed 2 hints along the way. The Lighthouse is certainly challenging but a lot of fun! Im looking forward to coming back to try the other rooms. My wife and I have done both the Strike it Rich! And Nightingale rooms. Both experiences were awesome. One of the owners was our puzzle master today, and you could tell he had a real passion for it. Awesome rooms, awesome ambience, awesome puzzles.

Dan, helped us out! Hes awesome and definitely made this experience fun. My family and I went to the Gold Mine, then couldnt get enough of these puzzle rooms. Ive been to multiple rooms over the years and these rock! As you receive more clues doors open into other rooms. Its great! We went back to two more rooms. They are all great. I recommend the, Golden Puzzle Room, with 5 s.

Absolutely loved the THREE rooms we did today! (Zephyr, Lighthouse and Nightingale) Live the tech, rooms had great flow and were very immersive. The Owners were also very nice. I would do any of their rooms as I know they create quality rooms!

A fantastic puzzle room, ten out of ten. We (an experienced duo) tried their easiest room, and managed it with ~14 minutes to spare; well definitely be back for the harder ones. Puzzles are a great mix of keys, codes, logic puzzles, and hidden clues. We only had one substantial detour (we were overthinking the solution to a directional lock), but we never ran into the problem where clues werent obviously clues. Everything fit together marvelously.

Our group escaped The Nightingale room. It was very creative and well thought out. We all had a pleasant experience and the person helping us was very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you have the chance.

We stopped by Golden Puzzle Room while in Denver for a baseball tournament. We freed the Emperors Nightingale and had a blast. Love the fact that the rooms are private. Weve done a few escape rooms over the years and it was great to see some novel puzzles as part of this room. As far as escape rooms go, Golden Puzzle Rooms is really nicely done!

Ive been to the Golden Puzzle Room a few times with various pals. This establishment is super charming! The puzzles are challenging/super cool, the staff is helpful and the themes of their various rooms are delightful! Ive only ever interacted with Maeve (our Game Master), so I assume they are the CEO lol. They are absolutely lovely! Maeve is super professional and kind! Maeve deserves a raise and a high five!!!!! I would recommend the Golden Puzzle Room to anyone!

I had the best time doing the Zepher one! It was just me and my boyfriend and we were able to complete it with 2 minutes to spare! The puzzles werent overwhelmingly difficult and Dan was more than happy to give us hints when we needed it! I am determined to return and complete all the puzzles they have to offer because they are just SO much fun!

We took my kids (6 and 9) to the Pirate escape room geared specifically towards kids. First of all I LOVE that they only charged for the kids, so we could truly sit back and just watch and enjoy the show. My expectations were low for a room aimed specifically at kids. It is so hard to hit the sweet spot of challenging but doable. Most kids rooms are insultingly easy or frustratingly hard and they need their hand held the whole time. Read full review entirely on their own. I love that Dan, our host, did not talk down to the kids or treat them like they needed tons of help. The hint system is so perfect- finding gold coins in the room was an extra little dopamine hit, and they felt so in charge of their hints. The two hints they did receive were so perfectly done- not just telling them what to do, but a rhyme to give them a nudge. The room itself was phenomenal. Even the entrance to the room is a tiny door for the kids, which sets the vibe so well. The attention to detail made it very immersive, and the puzzles were so well constructed, and creative! I have been designing puzzle hunts and escape room type challenges for years, so most escape puzzles are familiar to me. There were puzzles in here that I was so impressed with with the creativity. The flow and pacing of these puzzles was perfect. Everything was on the kids level, and honestly easier for the kids to get the aha! Moment before the adults could even help. There were surprises I did not expect at all and it was just a delight. My kids had an absolute blast, and we had a blast watching them. Dan let me sneak in before hand to add some birthday surprises, it was just all around a phenomenal experience. This is a perfect room for kids, and honestly would be a wonderful room for anybody new to escape rooms to pick up on different mechanics. Based purely on the kids rooms this is one of my top three rooms in colorado. I can t wait to come back and try the adult rooms, will report back on those!

Consistent quality between rooms. Our family have done Strike it rich and Rocky Mountain zephyr--both times with a few kids and they were able to enjoy/assist in the experience and the adults still be challenged. We plan to try the more challenging rooms without kids. Puzzle pirates for our 5th grade daughters birthday was a huge hit!

This was a great first experience of Puzzle/Escape Room and we plan to go back to do other puzzles! The puzzle was challenging, fun, the hints, when asked for, were helpful. It was clever and exciting and a great time spent with family and friends.

Great experience in the Zephyr room for a group of 6 girls ages 11-12. It was possible for them to do so much on their own and required just a few hints to keep them moving. They loved how realistic it felt in the rooms being on a train. Some of the locks are tricky but our room monitor helped guide them through that process as well. Great experience!

We had an amazing time. The staff was super friendly and kind. The clues were great. The decoration was amazing and overall, it was a lot of fun. Highly recommend!

My daughter had her birthday party there and they had a blast! They immediately came out saying they wanted to do it again. The staff was wonderful-helping them as needed but not too much.

We had a great time completing the pirate puzzle! It was really well done and our kiddos (8 and 5) had so much fun!

Four of us did the Zephyr experience on standard mode and had a great time! Two of us had done escape rooms before, two of us had not. Some of the clues were fairly easy to discover, while others were creative and complex. The design of the room and the props were wonderful - we went from benign office building to really feeling like we had stepped inside a train. We were able to finish the challenge with a couple of hints from Jason, the friendly owner. We are all planning to come back again!

The host was incredibly nice! The room looked AMAZING, so much detail! So much fun hope to come back soon!

This is the only place we have found with a puzzle room made with kids in mind, and it did not disappoint! We loved watching our kids (4, 6, and 7) figure things out in the Puzzle Pirates with a little coaxing. We even went a couple minutes over time and they still helped us finish it out. Will be excited to try other offerings at this location!

My daughter wanted something unusual for her 9th birthday. I wasnt sure if the other kids would get into solving the puzzle. But they had a great time. It took them almost the full hour to solve all the clues, just the right amount of hints.

Golden puzzle room is a hidden gem! Amazingly detailed and interactive rooms, cannot wait to go back and try them all! We were here for date night but they seem to have fun for families and businesses too

What a great experience! We love this place. I have done numerous escape rooms and this one was fantastic. We took another couple with us for their first experience and they loved it. The rooms are well thought out, have multiple levels, and challenging puzzles. The prices are great too. There are great story lines too. Jason was a great host who also happens to own the place. You can tell he loves what he does and enjoys making great puzzles that are entertaining and challenging. We are 100% going to go again soon.

We just got back from doing the Lighthouse Room. It was challenging and so much fun! The puzzles were well thought out, and the room was nicely done. Weve done a few escape rooms in the area and this one is our favorite so far, and the prices are better too. Were definitely looking forward to trying the other rooms!

We had 2 adults and 3 kids do the Rocky Mountain Zephyr and it was awesome! There were a lot of elements that the kids could do (all age 8 and older). I would definitely recommend this location and the Rocky Mountain Zephyr for sure!!

My two grandchildren loved this experience as did my husband and I. Perfectly geared to our 7-9 year olds, and with few hints from the escape master we were able to capture the treasure just before time ran out. Clever and inventive The Pirates Puzzle was full of surprises--lots of fun,
