City 13 | Milwaukee’s Premier Escape Room

We came to City 13 specifically to run the four hour escape room(s). We had a GREAT time. Jake and Nick were great at advising and extremely helpful and attentive. They made the experience a lot of fun. A well thought out change of escape rooms and fun to do a longer version. Good idea to take a break in the middle, bring water. The rooms were in good shape and no broken games or pads or locks. Snacks and drinks were available there as well. If you love escape rooms you will love the experience with a longer room. This was our first time there and we were glad we hadnt tried any of the rooms before running the whole facility.

Had a wonderful experience at this facility, staff was super welcoming and even let us arrive early and start early. Friendly atmosphere and super engaging, multi-room, and narrative escape room. Fun for the whole family!

We did the new Kandy Corp. room. I m literally sitting on the floor in the room, giving this review. I ve done some of their other rooms and they were really good, but this one is AWFUL!!! Not only is it poorly designed but the puzzles make absolutely no sense and we felt with multiple mechanical failures with the puzzles. So even when we got it right, they wouldn t unlock. Nothing is connected, they give no clues, and when you go to HR to ask for help, you have to leave the department that...
Read full review you re in. However, when you do, you ve forfeited that experience. If you team split up to ask for help, you ve forfeited the room. Do NOT waste the $45 per person for the worst experience escape room experience. It s 90 min of your that you ll never get back.

I threw a birthday party for a 13 year old here. The facility has ample parking, is easy to find. The building is nice and updated. The kids had fun and it took them most of the time alloted to solve the mystery. I would recommend.

Very fun time! The atmosphere of the waiting area is great - its nicely finished and they have free water and popcorn to snack on while playing pool until its your turn. I only did the subway car escape but they have an entire city made up of multiple rooms that you can do as well. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was well designed, in good shape, and very fun. I definitely plan on going back to do more escapes.

We played all the rooms at City 13, bummed our schedule didnt let us play Save the City, but still had a great time. Their Candy Corp room offers a different feel than the typical escape room. Hope we get a chance to make it back out there again!

Took my daughter and 7 of her friends (all 13 years old) to City 13 for a birthday party. The staff was terrific and my daughter and her friends raved all evening about how much fun they had. Nick and Ashley were wonderful, fun, enthusiastic, accommodating and made the whole experience one we will remember. Id strongly recommend City 13 to anyone considering a visit. 5 years later, my daughter wanted to relive her youth now 18. We went for another birthday party and had an absolute blast. Having done other escape rooms, they all pale in comparison to City 13.

This is an an awesome escape room experience. We have done 2 of the 4 rooms at City 13 and enjoyed both. You feel as if you are in a real city, the detail in this place is amazing. Staff is always very nice. You can even enjoy a game of pool while you wait to start your game.

This place is great! Really nice waiting area with a pool table plus popcorn, water, and coffee! We did a difficulty 7/10 room with engineers, logic puzzle junkies, and book nerds. We got out just under 4 minutes. The way it was all put together was so much more advanced than I was expecting. You must go!

First experience and it was great! I didnt know what to expect at all. It was entertaining and they had everything set up to look exactly like the actual theme . Very friendly customer service is always a plus! If you want to have some fun and use your thinking cap this is the place to go. Highly recommend

Awesome escape room and love that it s always a private experience instead of being lumped in with other parties. We did the Neon Light Diner as a family of 3 and escaped (though needed a few hints to do so). It was really challenging and had some cool theming. Very creative and great experience! Will come back for sure.

Wow.. I LOVE this place!! I m obsessed with Escape Rooms and done some really intense ones but I will say, City 13 is hands down my favorite in the area. I ve wanted to share my love of escape rooms with our kids (8,6,6) so when I saw Kandy Corp being all ages, I couldn t book it fast enough. We had a BLAST! The perfect family outing. If you re on the fence, don t be. BOOK IT! The facility is clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the rooms are done phenomenally. Can t wait to go back!

This is a perfect place to host small group parties and their escape room experience is also pretty good. We celebrated my husband s surprise 40th birthday here this evening and everything was perfect and what we hoped for. The venue is so pretty and the staff is so nice, smiling and very helpful. They go above and beyond to make sure you get a great experience.

My friend and I have come here twice now. Great challenging rooms, even for adults (we are 30) and affordable for the fact that they are always private. I just hope the rooms are changed often enough that we can come back more often once we finish doing the hard ones. No other escape room in the area is as affordable, which is what keeps me coming back.

Having a party room is a great perk for a place like this although its pretty tight. The room experience is fine but wow, the woman at the desk (Judy) is such an unnecessary C yoU Next Tuesday. No need to be so hostile. A pleasant attitude and using the word Please a goes a long way when youre working in customer service!

City 13 escape room was a lot of fun! I did not know how we were going to do when it came to this But I ve learned that it s a good thing I m not a crime solver! The escape room was very challenging, and pushed our group to its limits. The environment was so much fun, the staff was extremely friendly, and the overall Experience was top-notch! I would highly recommend everybody visit City 13 Escape Room! You will not be disappointed whatsoever.

BEST Escape Rooms and wonderful staff! So much fun for all ages. The new Kandy Korp addition is great especially for kiddos. Well worth money - great family outing! Gets kiddos critically thinking and builds team work! Love it - will definitely be back! Thanks team at City 13!

We had my sons 30th party here at City 13 and all 11 of us had a great time! We rented the lobby out for a pre party and they were very accommodating with our large group and let us split into 2 groups for escape rooms. Both teams had a fun time and the staff was very friendly and helpful! Will definitely come back and will recommend!

We had a wonderful time going to the Armory. It was our second time ever in an Escape room. Knowing this, the room monitor was attentive and provided the right level of help. We were able to solve with a mere 2 minutes to spare. Well be back!!!

Weve done many escape rooms as a family, and this was our first time at City 13. My husband, myself, and two teenagers completed the Kandy Corp room. We appreciated how each room had its own unique puzzle to solve. We plan to return to try a different escape!

We have done a few of the escape rooms here now and love it! Staff is always super friendly and helpful. They offer free popcorn and water in waiting area. You can play a game of pool while you wait for it to be your turn.

Did the Kandy Corp Room. Weve also been there and done a different room before and I would say that City 13 is for the hardcore escape room people who love to solve higher level puzzles. Ones that you have to pull the answers out of thin air. Not saying its not fun, but more fun for serious abstract-thinking gamers, not for people just looking to have some casual fun. Read full review that we have had at other escape rooms which I think would be a welcome addition to City 13 and make it less frustrating is the ability to get hints if the participants get really stuck. Thats one of the reasons we are going to stick to 60 to Escape and the Escape Game from now on. Havent lost one of those yet!

City 13 was welcoming and very comfortable. Free popcorn, pool table and comfortable sitting areas were a nice touch especially because we arrived a bit early. The room we escaped from was fun too.

My group and I went as a staff retreat and we had a great time! City 13 has amazing rooms with different difficulty levels. We shared lots of laughs and got to show off our competitor edge! Id recommend to anyone looking for an escape room (whether its with family or friends or for work) that City 13 is where you should look.

This place is awesome! The escape room was challenging but not like taking advanced calculus! The lobby area is great. Free pool table and really cool decorations on the walls. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were never at an escape room before and they didnt disappoint. We did cyber Station and escaped with 1:07 remaining! Next time Ill go with one a little more challenging, but it was still a great time. We will be back! Thanks again to the staff who were great people!

For escape room fans of all skill levels this place is a must! Returned to do the ~90 minute Kandy Corp after the ~4 hour Save The City. Always look forward to this place from their inviting lobby with pool tables and free popcorn, to their friendly staff and game guides! Their new experience was a new twist on escape rooms I wasnt familiar with, but I really enjoyed! For anyone seeking a classic escape room experience brought to the max with tech and theming I would easily recommend Save The City and if youre looking for something new Kandy Corp is the way to go with even more tech, story, and advaces on escape room experiences!

Welcoming. The room was aesthetically fun and very challenging but doable, but definitely you need a brain. The staff was very friendly and the room was more than we bargained for. Totally worth every penny and will be doing another room hopefully soon.

This was my first visit to City 13, and it was one of the best escape rooms I have been to. The rooms were done well, the staff was super friendly and the Cyber Station room was a a lot of fun for our group of 6. We were able to escape, but with only a few minutes left. That s exactly how I like escape rooms to be not too easy, but a good challenge! We will be back to try other rooms at City 13!
