Cityscape Games: Escape Room Experience Tacoma

Did my 2nd and 3rd ever escape room and had a GREAT time! My other 3 partners have done 40+ escapes before and we all equally were impressed. Puzzles were very thoughtful and the game masters were wonderful. Shout out to Bria!

This was my first time doing an escape room and it was lots of fun. We had a small group so we did the zookeeper one. Our host was friendly and did a good job setting the scene. She gave little clues when we were clearly stumped. It s worth the price! We even left with a souvenir. I imagine we ll be back to try their other room at some point!

Cityscape Escape was a wonderful escape room experience. My wife and I did the Zookeeper room as our 53rd experience and had an absolute blast. As outlined on their website. The Zookeeper room is a linear puzzle, but it was perfect for two experienced players. Daniel, the game master, was very personable, friendly, and encouraging. We appreciate that the puzzles were made by the owner and that we encountered several unique puzzles that we had not yet encountered. A true 5 star experience for beginners and veterans alike.

Our group loved these escape rooms! We did both and even as experienced escapers found ourselves loving every minute of zoo keeper. It was so cute. Rockstar is a great puzzle and we really enjoyed it but I will say it s bit more linear than we were expecting. As a group of three experienced escapers I felt there was often some downtime in rockstar. Maybe because we were expecting a linear room at zoo keep it didn t stand out as much for me. Overall we loved these puzzles and understand and support the hype they ve created. The owner is just top notch and creates such a welcoming and engaging environment.

Crazy fun rooms that flow so well and have an excellent attention to detail. Daniel, the owner, is so nice and has some amazing passion for his work. Zookeeper is a great beginner room, so good that I would still recommend experienced players to give it a shot, it has a lot of content. Rockstar is a bit more challenging and is also a lot of fun. Give Cityscape Games a shot if you are in the area!

We booked zookeeper as it was made for two people for our date night. Probably our favorite escape room thus far. It was extremely fun, the area/supplies were clean and the puzzles were impressive. Our game master Katie was super helpful and friendly. Loved that we even got a little picture souvenir card afterwards and post pictures.

Had a great time, my team escaped with 2:30 left on the clock! I ve done my fair share of escape rooms and I was happy with this one - it was a mix of puzzles and not all just combination locks. The staff was super friendly and helpful, only gave us clues when we needed them. I think it was the perfect level of difficulty for 6 adults - some escape rooms are too hard and some are too easy but these guys nailed it.

My boyfriend and I escaped the zookeeper room with 4 minutes to spare! It was such an amazing experience! Our game master Bria was awesome and we met the owner as well who was very friendly!! We have done over 10 escape rooms and this was one of our favorites. If you have never done an escape room before this would be a great starting point. We already booked the rockstar room and cannot wait to bring friends and family. Both of their rooms are Tacoma themed which is super unique! Great experience overall :)

This was a really fun and unique room! This room is designed for a bigger group but my husband and I completed it without difficulty as a pair. Our GM, Bria, was absolutely amazing and did a great job of helping us navigate the game. Puzzles were very unique and had a level of complexity that was very engaging. Would highly recommend to any seasoned (or newbie looking for a challenge) player.

Bria was incredible and both rooms are very well done! They put a lot of effort into making fun, inclusive puzzles for everyone and creating an amazing experience!

Amazing time in the zoo keepers room. Brought my two kids (7 and 4) and they had a blast! Unique puzzles, age appropriate and so much fun! Highly recommend. Owner Daniel was super helpful as well.

I did the Rockstar room with my family of five. Were at varying levels of experience ranging from 2-8 rooms done each. The puzzles in this room seemed to range, with some that felt easy and others that gave us a good brain challenge! We escaped with just six minutes left. The thematics of this room were absolutely fantastic!! All of the puzzles were expertly designed into the theme of the room. Overall, our experience here has been one of the best from the different rooms weve done. I personally rank the Rockstar room very high on my list of favorites Ive done. Highly recommend this room to anyone looking for a well thought out and executed adventure to embark on.

Excellent game design. Ive played many escape rooms around the country, this one is more dedicated to a good experience than any other that Ive played. The puzzles they are extremely well thought out and fun to play. The room decoration isnt as extravagant as some other companies, but the rooms have good production value.

I was able to complete both escape rooms at Cityscape Games. Zookeeper was very fun and full of interesting puzzles! The room was not overly challenging but still hard enough that my husband and I only had 1 minute on the clock out of 60 when we completed it. Rockstar was noticeably more difficult and requires a lot of creative thinking. Very unique puzzles and challenges to this room. Its doable with 2 people but we cut it close again with only 9 minutes left out of 75. Overall the props and rooms are very high-quality and very enjoyable! Daniel is an amazing host. What an amazing experience! Wonderful scene setting, challenging puzzles, and a graciously accommodating host who was so considerate regarding our scheduling. Thank you, Daniel, such a pleasure to meet you and play in your gamescape, we had the best time!!!

It was a lot of fun, the puzzles were tricky but not too difficult. The game master only helped when asked and did a great job setting the scene. The experience was supposed to be around an hour and we finished with only 2 minutes left, I felt we really got our monies worth. I recommend playing here if you havent before.

We just discovered this newer escape room after doing many others in the South Sound area. It was quickly a favorite! After speaking with the owner/ room designer at length after our successful escape, we realized he has helped design some of our other favorite room puzzles at other companies! It s truly a pleasure supporting a local company with a passion for the entertainment. Top notch room, intriguing puzzles, a definite recommend!

Daniel was an incredible host! My team and I really enjoyed going through the rockstar escape room along with its associated challenges. I ll be returning to do the zoo escape room next. I d highly recommend this establishment.

We did the Rockstar room. So much fun! Sam, our game master was knowledgeable and managed our game well. Puzzles were challenging but fun!! I would definitely recommend!

Had a fantastic time! I got to play the new zookeeper room early, and it was great for 2 people, really cute, and just challenging enough to be very rewarding. It would be great for families with kids. Great way to spend an hour or so!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Our game master Bria came in last minute to run our game and was so enthusiastic and encouraging with her hints throughout the whole game. 10/10 would reccomend and will definitely be going back :)))

Absolutely loved everything about this escape room! We have done over 100 escape rooms and this one is definitely in the top 5. I loved the local theme. The room itself was nicely put together with the perfect amount of locks and tech. It was the first time Ive ever done a room that gave you more than an hour, so you definitely feel like you re getting your money s worth. I also liked the fact that it was bilinear in terms of gameplay. So everyone wasn t hovering over just one puzzle to advance the story. You could do multiple things to move the story along. Daniel did a fantastic job designing this room, and he was such an awesome game master! Can t wait to do more of his games!!!

My partner and I are escape room veterans (we ve done over 130 rooms together), and we thoroughly enjoyed the Rockstar room at Cityscape! This room would be fun for groups of all experience levels. The game flows well, everything connects logically, and the clues are integrated seamlessly into the set. We also loved getting to nerd out with the room designer Daniel about puzzles/all things escape. His utter love for these games comes through in the care he s taken in creating his rooms. Definitely worth the drive down to Tacoma go check them out!

Excellent rooms. Zookeeper is great and would be good for newbies but we really enjoyed it as people who have a bit more experience. Rockstar has delightful puzzles that play with sound in artistic ways that challenged us in the best way. Daniel is a kind and thoughtful designer who really wants you to enjoy his rooms. We can t wait for the next one!

We did the Rockstar room with our family and had a blast! It was our first escape room for most of us. The puzzles were challenging without being too hard and our game master Corey was amazing! Highly recommended!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I did the Rockstar room and I am THOROUGHLY impressed. This is a small business that honestly exceeded my expectations above & beyond the big chain escape room companies. I WILL be coming back and I am really hoping that the owner gets enough exposure to keep building and to maybe even grow into more locations.

My team of 3 had an amazing time playing Rockstar! The puzzles were interesting, had great flow, and were perfectly signposted. There was a variety of things to do so we all had something to latch onto. And the design was superb! The set was great and the props and clues were all physically very satisfying to work with. This game was clearly made by people who love escape rooms, music, and FUN! I cant wait to come back for the new Zoo theme theyre opening up.
