Extremely well-designed games, and very friendly staff. Looking forward to going back! I played Prison Break today and loved it. My group has played many escape rooms, and what stood out about Prison Break was the diversity of puzzles and practical challenges in the room, and a good narrative flow tying them together. Would highly recommend. I m looking forward to play Escape the 80s and any future rooms they design!

An absolutely wonderful experience! My wife, daughter, son, and I did the 80s escape room. The puzzles were challenging but not impossible. Logan was a great host and told us of some new experiences that are on the horizon. If you have some time and want to have some fun with family or friends, give Escapism a shot, you won t be disappointed.

An excellent escape room experience. A little rough around the edges, but the game design is top notch. Locally owned mom & pop shop with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable owner. Definitely worth stopping in and giving it a chance. Weve done a ton of rooms in the past and this one had some unique puzzles and challenges. The inclusion of the boogie boards for notes was an excellent touch.

We did Escape the 80s last weekend, and it was incredible! Great staff, challenging but fun puzzles, and the theme was on point! The room felt like a magical trip back in time, in the best way. Cant wait to go again!

My sister & I had a fun time at this 80s themed escape room in Virginia Beach. This is our 3rd one weve done together and first time here. It was up there with our Las Vegas escape room experience we had at Panic Room. We will come try another here at Escapism next time I visit my sister in VA. Logan was awesome!

Did Escape The 80s with my wife and W O W. The puzzles are so unique and clever and give you that sense of accomplishment when you finally crack the code! Naya was our game master and she was a total delight. She truly makes the experience that much better.

We had a great time at Escapism Games! Four of us did the Escape the 80s room. With two adults and two younger kids (10 and 12 ), we could work through the puzzles together. There were puzzles for the kids to enjoy as well. As a child of the 80s, I liked all the nostalgic touches in the room.

We enjoyed the Escape from the 80s room. There were only two of us, and we did not quite escape, but were on the last puzzle. We feel the room can be done by as few as two people. The puzzles were interesting. Not overly simple and not too hard. The decor and props were not fancy but served the story well. Things were at appropriate heights. No climbing or crawling needed.

Absolutely fantastic! Escapism games was our whole familys first escape room experience, and right off the start Logan introduced us to what to expect without giving anything away. Outstanding staff support combined with an extremely fun whole family experience. It was worth way more than the price and made an great memory. We will be back!

We are from out of town on vacation here in the area looking for fun activities to do and we were walking around and found this place. I googled escape rooms in the area looking for the highest rated and this was VERY well recommended. The owner was VERY helpful in the phone with booking. After doing a few different escape rooms at other establishments I can confidently say this is at one of the top on my lists. We will definitely be back to check out the other room. If you re on the edge about something fun to do absolutely give it a go!

What a great time at Prison break!! Logan was an amazing host and created a challenging and fun puzzles! I highly recommend it! We are from out of town and it was a perfect Mother s Day gift with my son and his wife!

This was a great team building experience for our upper management. Our company was fortunate to have experienced both Escape the 80s & Prison Break. We had the best time. 8/10 had not experienced an escape room before, and Logans brilliance exceeded our expectations with fun games, obtainable challenges, and really did bond us, aided in our effective communication, and we will definitely be back when Logan expands. Did Escape the 80s with my wife and a friend of ours yesterday. It was an excellent experience. Niyah was a fantastic game master and the room was extremely well thought out. Ive done quite a few escape rooms over the years and I have to say this was my second favorite one. Read full review game. The rooms are not particularly big, but theres a lot going on in them. Its great to split off and have people working on different puzzles at once. Its challenging, but not impossible. We only needed one hint (barely) and we completed the room with just under 2 minutes left. Great job Escapism!

We did the 80s room today and it was so much fun! The room is full of fun memorabilia and the clues/puzzles are just right for our group of 3. The owner was fantastic and explained everything so well. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does. We will definitely be back!! Thank you!

Went today with family and played the prison escape game and it was so much fun. Logan really made us feel comfortable and just really enjoyed our time there. Highly recommend this for anyone!

This was SO fun! We were very impressed with all the details in the 80s room. We went as a family with kids ranging from 17 to 6, and even the littles were able to help! Super cool, we will definitely make this part of our annual visit tradition!

Just completed Escape The 80 s and Naya was an amazing game master! My wife and i have done several escape rooms and it s always nice to have a cheerful and enthusiastic game master. The puzzles were unique and fun!

Logan was a very knowledgeable and chill person. Told us that he built the entire place and set the games up himself. We did Prison Break and the story line and puzzles were dope. Definitely going back to do Escape the 80 s.

We did Escape The 80 s and then came back and did Prison Break. Both rooms were well designed and challenging enough to make you feel accomplished but not so much that you wanted to give up. We would rate Escape the 80 s a 2.5/ 5 for difficulty. We would rate Prison Break 3.5/5 for difficulty. There were only two of us, we did fine, and had a lot of fun. We would suggest a max of four for both rooms even though you can go up to maybe eight. Our game master was amazing! She was so friendly and helpful. 10/10 would recommend! The only thing missing was the after photo with the I escaped or similar sign. It would be cool to see other groups that made it

Perfect for a family of four with teenagers! We did both rooms, and they were amazing.

What a fantastic escape room! Our group of 6 did Prison Break and had an incredible time! The clues were challenging and certainly took a great deal of thought to create. Our host, Logan, was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. It was evident he enjoyed his job and that he cared a great deal about our enjoyment of things. It was a very cool first time experience the prison one was a good and the game master was very good and what she did was great over all time

We did the 80s room for my birthday and loved it so much we did the prison room later that evening! Clues were creative, challenging and a great variety...even more impressive to learn this isnt a chain and the owner created it all! Between us weve done probably 30 escape rooms and will be back here the next time were in town!

Had a lot of fun doing the 80s escape room! We did it as a private group with a family of 5 including 2 teens and a 7 year old. The puzzles were well thought out and the context clues within the room really meshed well with our deduction skills, while not being too easy. There were some puzzles that individuals could work on alone while others really benefited from having multiple people helping. This room would work well for newbies while still offering some fun interaction and nostalgia for more experienced players. This was unanimously our favorite activity we did on our short VA Beach vacation! We look forward to going back again on our next visit!

this place is amazing. he literally makes it completely himself, including the coding which is absolutely amazing. it s very well thought out and i absolutely highly recommend. very good for the price as well compared to the other ones around the area and it was very well worth it!

My friend and I did Escape from the 80s on a rainy day and had a ton of fun. The puzzles were just right - varied and difficult enough that you feel accomplished and energized for solving them but not so difficult that we had to rely on hints to escape on time. I also really loved how there were smaller hints built into the room that allowed you to match the puzzle with its intended solution. The entire experience was just a lot of fun. I would highly recommend visiting!
