ESCAPE! Nightmare Mansion Virginia Beach

Well that was the most terrifying escape room I ve ever done! To date, my top 5 of many escape rooms includes scary ones and this took the number 3 spot out of 87. It will be hard for another game to dislodge it. Part of my group was incapacitated with fear for a good portion of the game, but they powered through. Special effects were off the chain. Definitely the scariest game I ve played. This was a great use of a haunted house when it s not running. I could have done with like 25% satanic stuff, but still a very fun experience. Bring your brown pants. Thanks to Jack and the crew for their hard work.

Really cool place, a ton of fun, the actors are great. Actually scary and thrilling. We had a blast with 8 people. Totally worth the visit!

Outstanding experience. Definitely a welcome change from the other escape rooms Ive done. Far more interactive and I absolutely love the horror aspect of it. Well worth checking out.

Hands down the best escape room I have been to so far. If you are not into getting scared, this may not be for you. The staff was awesome and passionate. The overall design of the clues and how it flowed was very well done. The room design was fantastic. The SFX really immersed you into the room. My friends and I had an amazing time. Dont want to say any more to ruin anything, but this is a great experience unlike any escape room in the area.

Just by thr reviews itself I was intrigued and want to do this with just me and my spouse but you have to have a minimum of 4 ppl. And that when I got sad cause I want to do just a us thing, but cant.

Great escape room, we were one step from making it out lol recommend! Also have a haunted house but didn t have time for that. The guy running it has a good sense of humor.

Wow. I really cant say too much without spoiling anything, but this is by far one of the coolest, and scariest escape rooms I have ever done. Worth every single penny. Everything was well thought through, and the actors were amazing. I just wish I could forget everything and experience it again for a 2nd time.

This was SO fun! If you love scary movies and escape rooms you have to try this one! Convenient location, definitely spooky and its on a whole other level to any other escape room Ive been to.

This is unlike any other escape room my friends and I have ever experienced! Our concierge was fantastic and the atmosphere was eerie and unsettling, perfectly executed by the decor and music. Even the bravest members of our group got scared. I would highly recommend this escape room for anyone that loves a good scare!!

A bone chilling adventure through the veil and back....for those with the courage and wit to survive. A perfect blend of atmosphere and story. The incredibly creepy and original twists and turns kept everyone guessing until the very end. Thank you for a truly memorable experience. Please tell the room we will definably be back for more.

Went here for my daughters birthday. We had the best time! Escape Nightmare Mansion certainly lives up to its reputation as the most unique in the world. The atmosphere is definitely eerie, and the concierge added a nice bit of twisted humor to make the event even more fun. I definitely recommend this location to anyone who loves escape rooms and is looking for a supernatural experience. A solid five star treat.

I went with my niece and 3 of her friends for her birthday today and it was amazing. Ive never done an escape room before but all 4 teenagers had and they said it isnt like any escape room theyve done before. The staff is amazing & super knowledgeable about what theyre doing. I was scared the whole time, the whole concept is so creative. 10/10 would recommend, Im going back with my husband and our friends for sure!

We absolutely loved this room! We do one anytime we are on vaca and this by far has Been the best! Hosts are very interactive in their role playing, eccentric and fun. We had a group of 7 4 of which were teenagers. You wont be disappointed, but you definitely might be scared... Thank you for a great time!

My husband and I took our teenage son and nephew to this twist on an escape room today and it was absolutely amazing! The creativity and interactive nature of the escape room was awesome. Nothing like we have experienced before, and we are avid escape room fans. I wish there were more like this on our travels. If you are thinking about doing this room, do it! You won t be disappointed.

I went with 3 girlfriends for a girls night out and it was such a blast!! It was not like any other escape room I had done before. It kept me on my toes the whole time and was so much fun. It was scary, challenging, and all the things you would want a haunted escape room to be! 10/10 would recommend!!

I cant overstate how much fun this was. Went with my whole family and I admit I had low expectations. From beginning to end, it was an incredible experience. It was truly scary, challenging, and so much fun. It is NOT like any other escape room you have done. The effects, interaction, and thought that went into this, put other escape rooms to shame. While it may seem pricey, it is such a great entertainment value. The staff are also great and add immeasurably to the experience. Dont miss it!!

My best friend and I booked this experience. We both love horror movies and haunted houses and such and my friend had never done an escape room. With a minute of googling I found Escape Nightmare Mansion and all the great reviews. It was all advertised as being very scary so of course we were intrigued! The owners unfortunately had to cancel my original reservation but they were INCREDIBLY accommodating! They texted me personally and rescheduled me for a day they weren t even open. This was so wonderful...
Read full review of them to do for us! I don t want to spoil anything about the experience but WOW! The effects of the room and the actors just really make it so immersive. We were both screaming and laughing at the same time, having so much fun! We did manage to escape just barely in time. Similar to other reviews I will say that physically if you can walk up some stairs and easily stand and walk for an hour or so that s really all you need to be able to do to succeed in the room. Mentally you need to be able to cope with being in the dark, loud noises, strobe lights and other lighting, and you need to be able to challenge yourself and push past fear when facing some scary tasks. And like any escape room, you need to practice teamwork! I can never do any other escape rooms or haunted houses because this is my new bar! I ve begun looking into more intensive experiences thanks to the fun and fear I enjoyed at Escape Nightmare Mansion :) Thank you to the owners and staff.

Excellent experience. It is a perfect combination of haunted house and escape room. Once you step into the room you feel like you have been transported back in time. The room feels like an expertly curated museum. The host does a phenomenal job immersing you into the experience. This was my familys first escape room. We did not escape but are looking forward to trying again the next time we are in town. We talked and laughed about the great time we had most of the day.

UNBELIEVABLE! Best escape room I ve been to. My 25 year old son said he couldn t get over how well done it was. A MUST GO!

Such a cool room, a lot of my groups first time doing an escape room and it was so worth it. Amazing job from everyone involved. I can t possibly see how this place could get a bad review!

Ive done escape games all over the globe but this one was unlike any other. They theatrics are fantastic, the room is exciting and challenging without being to difficult to take away from the immersive experience. We were a group of grown adults and we all at times got a good jump or scare out of it! Great fun would LOVE to do it again!

This past weekend, myself, my wife, and 4 of our neighbors, entered the Nightmare Mansion Escape Room. The concierge met us at the street level door and the adventure began. All of us had a great time and had a wonderful experience. The story line is beyond your imagination. The staff are top notch and will keep you intrigued. We all want to go again. I know the clues will change, as we have already attempted and failed to complete the event. Only advice I can give to anyone, is, to work together. Once again, we all had a great time.

We decided to try the Escape Nightmare Mansion and we were not disappointed. From the very start the concierge was in character and made the whole event feel real. The props used were quality and the story that they told for the escape room made the whole experience better. Being able to escape the mansion instead of just one room was the best part. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the next level escape room.
