A Great Escape at Gardner Village West Jordan

My husband and I tried this and we had so much fun!!! We were sooo close to solving it. We will definitely be back with our kids. Only feedback is, they send WAY TOO MANY emails and texts following the visit. In the first 24 hours after the experience we received 3 emails and 3 texts. A little too much for our liking. Other than that, we absolutely recommend trying them!

Soooo fun!!! Definitely would recommend everyone come here- they had great service, the escape room was great, and they had fun picture opportunities afterwards. We did the Wizard room, and we were able to make it out on time!

Ive done every room here now. Its been such a good experience. They are very challenging. We expected a group of 6 to get through a room in a hour. Not the case we got stumped! But thats what you want, a good challenge. I do love the easy room cha ges with the seasons, my 5 year old loves going to these easy ones. Great place for a group game night.

We played Area 52 and were very disappointed. One of the puzzles was broken, but because the game master was attending a childrens party we couldnt get help. So we kept retrying this very boring puzzle. Also operating the tablets in the room was very hard, mostly because all the buttons were tiny and bunched together. All of these problems could have been easily fixed by the owner. Very sad we wasted money on this room.

The staff was incredibly friendly, though definitely overwhelmed by the number of groups. The escape room was okay - not the most interesting or intricate one I have ever done, but a quick and fun group activity. I would definitely conside cost on this to be high for the experience, but it might be a good experience for a first-time escape room goer.

We did a work activity here and it was a blast! Hayley was so fun and made our experience that much better. We did the Harry potter room and Area 52 room and had a blast. The clues were a good level of challenging, it was easy to get help if we got stuck, and loved all the fun Harry potter trivia that were integrated into the clues. Cant wait to come back!

Jo was super great and helpful! My group did Malcolms room and it was fun and enjoyable. We didnt feel hopeless and the hints were great when needed. For the price youre paying, its a great deal! We would go here again.

Despite being short staffed, the two employees did an excellent job, not just with our group but everyone that came through the door: fielding questions, taking reservations, explaining the game, and setting up the rooms. All with a smile. As for the escape room, we did the harry potter wizard one. Ive done a handful of escape rooms and this was by far the best one. Great esthetic, interesting enigmas, challenging for both adults and children, but never frustrating. We all really enjoyed it! We have only one strong recommendation for management and that is to caption the intro video so that Deaf/HH members of the community have full access.

Great experience! Its really fun and our game keeper was very friendly. The rooms are well designed and clean and the puzzles are challenging. Theyve though of everything.

My wife and I had our first escape room experience here. It was a blast! We did the 20 minute whoville themed room. Had lots of fun, and it exceeded what my expectations were of escape rooms in general. (Being our first one, I didnt really know what to expect). Will definitely be returning to try out a longer one!

We celebrated my sons 12th birthday here. The staff were kind and patient. The puzzles were great and the rooms. I would definitely suggest a bigger group of six or more especially with kids. Adults could possibly escape with three or four people. Its a blast and goes by entirely too quick for an hour. I would love to try their other rooms in the future.

The room we chose was The Academy of Witchcraft & Wizardry. A fun room with great clues, and as always attention to detail! The puzzles were quite creative and fun. Clues to help you are provided with no time penalty (which is always appreciated). The Gardner Village is an adorable place - we stayed for a delicious lunch after our escape!

We had our 12 year old grandson with us and did the Great Fairy Escape. We received an orientation before we entered the room. We could choose if and how we wanted to receive clues. It was the easiest room but kept us guessing as we tried to solve how to help the caged fairy escape. We had tons of fun and with the help of a few clues were able to achieve that goal in the nick of time! I was worried that our grandson wouldn t have a good time but he did and ended up being the hero of the day.

I enjoyed the Great Fairy Escape at Gardner Village with three of my granddaughters this week. This is the first time Ive ever tried an escape room specifically geared to younger audiences, and we are already planning a return visit! There was a bit of serendipity in our visit. We stepped into an actual fairy cottage, solved fairy-themed puzzles and challenges, and were treated to help and hints from a fabulous staff who did their very best to make sure we succeeded in our task of releasing a fairy captured by an ogre. GRANDPARENTS, dont miss this adventure with your grandkids!

We had such a great time! The Game Master who helped us, Hayley, was lovely and helpful. She gave us the option of hints whenever she felt like we needed them, and hints only when we asked. That was one of my favorite differences between A Great Escape and other escape rooms in the area. Being able to choose when to get hints is amazing. I was also impressed with the quality of the room! Lots of production value and fun, tricky, puzzles. We only had two of us in our room, and it took us right down to the wire to get the room solved. It was so much fun!

We did the Area 52 room for my 15yr old s birthday and we had a blast! We will definitely go back. So fun!

It was definitely fun and took more than 4 of us to solve. You didn t need to be a Harry Potter expert to solve the problems it was more of using your logic and general knowledge. I liked that we could get clues. Would definitely recommend.

My team came here for a retreat team building activity and we couldnt have been more pleased with the experience. We did Malcoms Missing Millions; the room was well designed, visually, tactily, and spatially. It offered a good challenge and enough opportunities for discovery and wins to make it interesting for the whole hour. The staff were welcoming and helpful - we felt supported before and during the escape. The price point was a little higher than other places but after our experience, I wouldnt let that deter me. I look forward to doing another escape room here!

Great experience! We were running late due to a very long wait at dinner, and the staff at A Great Escape were very understanding and accommodating. The escape room was definitely a challenge and it took our entire group of 8 to solve it just in the nick of time, but I don t think a much smaller group could have. It was a lot of fun and very worth the time and money! We found a 15% off coupon on their Facebook page, which was nice. Thanks for the fun evening!

We had the best experience here. We walked around in the dark plus it was raining trying to find and kept calling the place and the lady was so nice and helpful in guiding us to the building they are located. Even though we were super late because of us getting lost, she was so accommodating in getting us rescheduled so we could get the full experience of the escape room. Cant wait to try it!

We took our team here for our annual Christmas party, and as a team building exercise. We booked the hardest room, for team building purposes of course. Our game master, Jameson, was fantastic. He was very thorough with directions and instructions to prepare us on our journey into Hogwarts to catch the pixie. The room was so much fun, the puzzles took some serious brain power, and as a team, we all completed the room with about 8 minutes left. This was absolutely worth it and we will definitely be back to try out other rooms. Highly recommend!

Absolutely exhilarating! Our escape room experience was beyond fantastic. From the intricate puzzles to the immersive ambiance, every moment kept us on our toes. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the overall enjoyment. We cant wait to return for another thrilling adventure!

Went here as a surprise to my boyfriends family. And it was so much fun and the girls running it are so nice and friendly really enjoyed talking to them. First time I ve ever done and escape room and really enjoyed it. The themes are great and have awesome interactions and puzzles. We ended up doing 3 rooms during our trip. I highly recommend coming here and trying out any or all the rooms you won t be disappointed. 10/10

We went as a family, group of 10 adults. We had a great time solving puzzles. We did the 30 minute room and asked for a clue once, and they gave us another one as well. We solved it with 5 minutes to spare, but it was fun to watch all my kiddos working together to figure out the clues. We wanted to get our 7 y.o. out of the house during the cold weather and A Great Escape was the perfect activity. We did the Grinch room and had so much fun. Our game master was very friendly and helpful. Well definitely be back.

Super fun and engaging! We had less people than what was recommended but still almost completed it! Would heavily recommend to anyone wanting a fun activity!

Fun escape room! We did Malcolm s Millions and it was a tricky one. There were a few times that we couldn t really have moved forward without a clue, so that was kind of a bummer, but overall it was a well-planned room.

I rented out the place for our Company Christmas party. We had a blast. The staff is amazing they helped us turn their 3 amazing rooms into a contest for 3 teams. We had the best time! Wether its a small group, a birthday party, or you need the whole space like us their staff was so accommodating and absolutely the best and helped us have so much fun. Actually they made us have so much fun! If you are looking for the best escape room experience this is the place! They will see to it you have an excellent time.
