It was so fun and challenging! The employees were helpful, friendly, and good at immersion! Thank you for the awesome brain teaser experience Get Out employees! Im definitely recommending this place and revisiting!
These are well made escape rooms with unique puzzles and mini-figurines for when you escape each room. Shout out to the woman running the front desk on Friday, April 26 for being an incredible host!!!
My cousins were in town from out of state and wanted to do something fun. Went here and had a blast! Amazing customer service! We schedule last second and they were able to get us into a game. The puzzles are super fun, just the right amount of difficulty. We did the mission to mars and now we cant wait to try out the other rooms!
I can t believe how much fun this place was. We went here for a work getaway while visiting clients in Utah and man was it a blast. We did the Reactor Room, and had a good time getting out as a team. We only had one freak out. This was easily the best escape room in Utah I ve been too.
Came here with my fiancé and we were paired up with another group. This is a great activity for adults of all ages. We did the Egyptian room. It was a lot of fun! We solved the mystery and won the game. Were definitely coming back here! It was such a fun date!
I went tonight with some friends, and not only had a great time, but was super impressed by GetOut Games. The waiting area was really nice, and the escape room was epic. There s men and women s bathroom in the waiting room/ lobby as well. We did the Egyptian Tomb room and loved it! The atmosphere, guide, props, clues, sound effects, etc. we re very cool and we ll done; we really had a blast! I loved that they gave us unlimited hints, if we wanted/ needed them, which was particularly helpful because...
our 4th person couldn t come, and so we did the room with just 3 people (but we made it out with 2 minutes to spare ). It s roughly $20 a person, and you can schedule online. You have to be punctual, and you get 1 hour to escape. Parking is a little tricky, but the escape room experience is well worth a little walk! I m excited to come back and bring my family/ friends to check it out.
The room was dark. so dark I had to use the cell phone flashlight to read anything. battery killer. The room (nuclear reactor room) was some what worn. I have been to several other escape rooms that were fresh and well lit. no reason this could not have been. But the WORSE part about it is that they paired us with 4 high school girls that were on their cell phones all the time. These 4 girls jumped right in and grab 4 hidden keys and one said yeah I solved this one before. That was a real...
experience killer! These high school girls were yelling through the walls to their other friends in another escape room. Then called them on their cell phones. Thank God they eventually left with 20 minutes to go and we could focus on what escape rooms have to offer. The Coach giving hints for this room was very pleasant. Customer beware that there is no vetting or filter for who you get paired up with. I have done escape rooms with 4 or 6 people and never forced to get paired up with anyone until this place.
We had so much fun. The theatrics of it all was so good. The people that work there are so much fun. Highly recommend it.
These escape rooms are phenomenal! Challenging enough to keep a big group busy the whole time but still solvable! We will definitely be going back!
We did the heist, and it was excellent. The only times we received hints we when they were just what we needed. Great puzzles and awesome experience all-around.
Had a lot of fun on the mission to Mars with Commander Kaiden. We got our space ship started and escaped the villian. This room is nor handicap accessible.
We have played all of the rooms here. They were challenging and everyone in our group had fun every time. Definitely worth going.
It was a fun, challenging but doable escape room. We had 10 people in our party, but were still all able to participate (though I would recommend less people, as the room was a little crowded). We did the nuclear reactor one and had a great time. Some of the clues made you think, but we were able to get through it with time to spare. The staff were excited and started the experience before even going to the room.
I did the superhero room with my family. We had an absolute blast and were really impressed at how immersive the experience was. The staff were very fun and friendly and gave us a great experience. They accommodated us even though we scheduled with very short notice. This place is why I love escape rooms.
Getout Games was excellent! The Escape Room my family did was The Superoom Standoff. The story was great, the staff that helped us really got into character
One of the best escape rooms! The staff made the whole experience super fun. The props and rooms are very detailed and immersive. I would definitely come here again!
I came here on a group date we had a great time. We went through the heist which had a compelling story told in a humorous yet serious manner by a cool guy that plays trombone. The escape room itself had many cool puzzles but mentioning more of them then that would spoil the fun of the room. This place also has some things clearly marked that dont do anything for the puzzle so you dont go breaking their stuff, since Id rather not harm their facilities this was very nice to have. Aside from the main...
attraction, the lobby itself is full of cool puzzles. While you are waiting for your reservation time you can sit at one of their tables and play a little game. These range from super easy, to tedious yet fun, to insanely difficult. Its just cool to me how much theyve stuck with the theme of puzzles. Getout Games was very fun and hospitable. For a larger group of people there may be cheaper things then an escape room but this was well worth the money. I will most certainly be coming back next time I want to do an escape room.
We had so much fun! Very accommodating to your group (I have social anxiety and didnt want to be put in a random group and they happily allowed my group to go alone). The puzzles are challenging but not impossible, and the hints they give dont give it away completely. The workers role play so well and it is just an all-around pleasant experience! I highly recommend this for a date night or just for fun with friends!
This is a very creative place! Solve puzzles and work with your friends to accomplish a common goal. Very fun and worth the experience!
Even though my group didnt get out, we still had fun. I would recommend bringing a mixture of both simple and genius people in your group. Also, if you are in the reactor room, we found an unused message. Even the employees dont know about it. Try finding it sometime. Other than that, the room was fun. They have great staff members. They are very good at making an active environment. The rooms are so nice, usually 2 rooms together. These are great for parties. I have been here many times, and never was disappointed.
A fun place! Staff were super kind and helpful both times we went. We did the superhero and the mission to mars rooms. The rooms were really well decorated and well themed. The puzzles were fun (mostly). I think the only issue is how linear the puzzles are--only about 2 people can work on a puzzle, and you could only really do one puzzle at a time in the rooms. So for most of the room three or four people were just standing around as two people solved the current puzzle. The mission to mars room...
was also pretty dark--I think I would have appreciated a few more lights. The first escape room we went to, I felt like the host gave us a few too many hints, but the second host did a great job. Overall, a fun place though! Good for groups of 4, not so much for bigger groups. Great decor, great vibes, friendly and kind staff!
We showed up for our scheduled escape room and the place was still locked. Very frustrating! Edit: We did get into the escape room about 35 minutes late, and they did offer us a 25% discount for the inconvenience. The escape room was well done also. So I have changed my review from 1 star to 3 stars.
I would never recommend this place. There is a group of 6 of us who do escape rooms often. Our experience here was horrible. There had recently been some patch work done on a wall in the room where they failed to repaint an essential clue, making the room unsolvable. Not one employee seemed to care to fix this situation so that the next group could avoid the same issue. Quite honestly how the staff responded to the feedback we gave them was incredibly unimpressive and we will never do another room here because of the lack of pride the staff took in their rooms.
This was my first escape room experience - TONs of fun. I went with 6 of my team members from work and we did the Egyptian Tomb. It was extremely satisfying as we found each clue and solved each portion of the puzzle. Really cool, highly recommended. (Took us 40 minutes to get out)
Fantastic experience, very well organized. Lorin was an excellent host Yeah, love the sophisticated atmosphere and equipment
It was quite frustrating how many hints were given out even after we mentioned several times we did not want any. I wish they would ask you upfront if youd like the hints or not or at least ask before offering. The excitement of an escape room is when faced with a difficult puzzle you finally figure it out... instead any time we would get stuck the hits came pouring in. Honestly took all the fun out of it. The only reason for two stars instead of one is becuase puzzles themselves were pretty cool, just wish we could have solved them instead of the impatient game master.
A group of 6 of us did the space room. It was fine overall, but it wasn t ready until 30 mins after our start time and it had technical problems while we were in it. It s pretty unprofessional that we just got a sorry, thanks for being patient. For $160 for 6 people, we could have done some different activity that actually worked. We were disappointed (and the room was super easy too). Also, there are tons of flashing lights throughout the entire space room. They really should put a more prominent...
warning about it when you sign up. We had someone in the group who is super sensitive to flashing lights, but they didn t want to feel awkward by not doing it, so they stayed in the room and left with a massive migraine. Again, lack of customer service. For the cost and level of service, I d recommend going to a different escape room location.
Zombie on a Chain was TOP notch. The actors did such an amazing job, and when we needed a few hints they were subtle about it. It was our daughters 16th birthday and the actors were so awesome to her. Best experience with an escape room weve ever had!
The are a few reasons that this is two stars instead of one - the employees were fantastic and the room looked kind of cool. But there were several problems with the room we did (we did the mission to mars one). We were able to get the escape room done (barely). The first problem with the room is that the puzzles HAD to be solved in chronological order, although there were one or two that had a little bit of wiggle room in the order to be solved in. The problem is that we only had four people, but...
two people max were actually doing anything, and half of the time those two people were doing something, it was to look for A puzzle to be solved. This meant that half of our group wasnt doing anything during the time we were solving puzzles. The second problem with the room is that the puzzles were often obtuse in meaning. It took us ten minutes and two clues to solve the first one, which isnt a bad thing by itself, but since it was the only puzzle we could work on, we were all standing around doing nothing while attempting to solve the clue. The third problem with the room is the lighting. It was quite dark throughout the entire time - and this can work if done correctly, but this wasnt really done correctly. After the power came back on, we shouldnt have had to continue to use our flashlights to read the stuff on the walls to signify that this is an actual working spaceship where people can see well enough to read. The fourth problem is the electrical connectivity in the room. There were a few puzzles that required specific electrical parts to work, and sometimes technical problems arose that prevented us from moving on with the room. Another thing kind of related to this is that some of the metal was coming off of the plywood it was based on, and there were several obvious holes duct taped closed. The fifth problem is the lack of usage of space. For one, theres only one explorable room, which is kind of a let down when it comes to escape rooms. For two, there was a lot of switches and panels that looked cool and would have been a lot of fun to play around with. However, we only used the panels once and I personally spent a lot of time flipping switches on the boards to see if they would actually do anything. This room, despite its problems, has a lot of potential. If the obtuse clues were made more clear, perhaps with better labeling on the panels, and there were clues that could be done simultaneously so that more people can have a lot of fun, and having the cool technical aspects actually work the first time around would be so much fun. The most disappointing part of this experience was seeing what it could be.
WOW! Zombie on a chain was CRAZY! First of all, Gabby was an incredible receptionist and immediately made us feel like we were in for a TREAT! Penny was an incredible Zombie and made the whole thing amazing! Those two Complete GIRL BOSSES! Trevor was a great guide and helped us out a lot and made it such a fun experience! 10/10 would recommend!!
