Never seen such an unprofessional business. Bought a same day experience, about 5 hours in advance. Received my confirmation and a reminder email so I know my booking was successful. When we arrived, the lights were off and the door locked. We called the number on the website over 10 times and no one answered. So we couldn t do the escape room and now I m out $160. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS!!!!!!

We had a rocky start with Exit game my mom had issues making our reservation for my sister and my birthday. Luckily, the owner has great customer service and made sure to make it right. The owner helped complete our reservation and even made sure we didnt lose our slot that we attempted to schedule 3weeks prior. We are a very busy family and were grateful that they were able to accommodate us since wed have trouble rescheduling with the holidays and our small business as well. I dont mention our...
bad beginning to shame Exit game in anyway, I simply mention to let future customers know that the owner will make sure his customers are happy. We did the asylum room, we had literally unlocked our final box and needed to piece together the clues to EXIT the room. Julian, our room coordinator was kind enough explain to us the final clue we needed to escape! We had fun and loved the brain teaser, we will be back! *NOTE: everyone played a role in our team figuring out our exit! I5ts important to go in with an open mind & remember that clues arent going to be spelled out for you. Use your noggin & have fun!

We had a blast in our escape room! We were a bit iffy because the escape room is smaller than others we ve been to but we were fairly surprised by the amount of brain power that we needed to use to not die! Would definitely recommend this business to anybody looking to try an escape room. Don t listen to the bad reviews.

It was good! There was only one staff member, so she couldnt always be on hand to give us clues when she was busy taking care of the other group. We got blown up by a bomb. At least it was a jolly British bomb! Fun and interesting puzzle games. Plenty challenging.

First escape room we played in San Antonio. The Sherlock room was really worn down and some of the puzzles just made no sense. We had to use clues and the solutions didn t make sense even after they gave them to us. I understand this to be a family run place and I hope they make some big improvements so I would want to come back.

Shouldnt have a lock that is not working correctly as the last step to win. It even took the employee a few tries to open it. He had to hold both hands on the lock for it to even work. Worst 144.00 ive spent. Find somewhere else to enjoy your evening downtown.

The room ideas were very atmospheric and immersive. We enjoyed the room we tried (Zodiac Killer), though it wasnt perfectly reset when we got in (ie: not all clues erased from previous group). There was also a puzzle that didnt open though we solved it correctly, which derailed us a bit. There was also a lot to do for a group of four, but we had fun and felt challenged.

To be honest, I loved the escape room and I loved the way they were so creative, although it was expensive it was really fun I would honestly come back with my whole family next time.

I went with two members of my family, and we attempted the Sherlock room. It was me and my little brothers first time, although my cousin had done one before so he was a little familiar with the experience. The room itself in hindsight feels like it should not have been too difficult, but being our first time it crushed us. It was still loads of fun though! The only thing I can say was the pipe leaking in the restroom nearly gave me a heart attack when a drop splashed on my head while washing my hands!

We were the only ones there. Game was tough and was close to finishing, however there was an issue with one of the pieces which led to the delay.

Do not trust business. Took double the money and refused to refund. Basically took 101.25 for nothing. Disputed with bank and now this business says it was MY fault for disputing the transaction and won t refund in any way.

Wow! First time to an escape room and I cannot wait to come back. Even though we lost, we had a great time and enjoyed working to the last second to escape. We apparently picked the hardest room to start but im glad we did! We enjoyed it and would definately recommend to anyone looking for a great night out!

Extremely disappointing experience. We were eager to take our friends from out of town to the Zodiac room. It started off well with a great intro. However, we got stuck on one of the first boxes you are supposed to get open. As a result, we ended up failing and were disappointed in ourselves. At the end of our time, we asked the employee to explain what the code was to that box and why we couldn t get it. Turns out, we had been CORRECTLY putting the code in the entire time. The problem was the players...
before us somehow changed what code should have been. Therefore, it was impossible for us to have ever gotten the clues out of that box. The employee couldn t even open it herself (which makes me wonder if it was just put back for the next group of players who wouldn t be able to get it either). Therefore, it was impossible to win. We were told it happens sometimes . I am baffled why the codes are not checked before each set of players, since it apparently is known that this is a possible issue and has happened before. Our friends traveled several hours to San Antonio in order to play this specific room with us. We all felt incredibly scammed, since it was impossible to win. We were not offered a refund; we paid a lot of money to be placed in a defectively set-up room.

This was my second time at this escape room and I absolutely love the atmosphere that the employees give off. The game masters are absolutely awesome and fun. This is such a great family environment. Even the other people in other games are a lot of fun to be around. I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND this location along with the zodiac killer room and Sherlock Holmes room they have. Keep up the great work. Finally a huge shoutout to the girls that worked on Friday night! Y all are amazing!

My boys and I had such an amazing time in the Virtual Reality Escape room. The staff is friendly, and explained the activity well. This is a great activity for parties, or even team building for corporate events. I definitely recommend y all trying the virtual reality escape room. It was so much fun bonding with my babies while trying to slay a dragon.

We did the Sherlock holmes escape room. This is actually the first room we ever failed, and I have a hard time believing it was our fault. There were many problems with the room itself and overall nothing really felt intuitive even after knowing the answer to the puzzle. The room was also not properly reset either. Our game master literally came into the room to hand us a piece of a puzzle that was not in place after 10 minutes of pacing back and forth in the room not knowing what to do. There was...
also a trap door that was suppose to open, but we heard the game master run into the next room and had to manually open it. The room over all seemed worn out. Carpets were ripped up, ceiling tiles were coming down, books were unglued to shelves that werent suppose to me moved, doors that were suppose to open but didnt because they were stuck in place, room was super hot, etc.. Being an avid player of escape rooms, I just feel cheated and would like a refund honestly. for how much we paid for this room. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

We were a group of 4 and had a great time working through the Dragon Tower puzzle. Plenty of challenge and fun that we managed to complete using team work. We had some minor technical difficulties but nothing we couldnt adjust to. The style of the place is a little bland. I think a vr place needs more fanfare show youre about to jump in another world. It just looked like an office building with some vr sets on the floor. At the end of the day, we enjoyed ourselves greatly and well be returning for other games!

Save your money and go somewhere else. Our party did the Zodiac room and turns out it was impossible to solve because one of the lock combinations had been changed by the last group. This is inexcusable for such an expensive attraction and a mistake that couldve been avoided by just taking five minutes to check the locks before the party arrives. Saying, Oh it happens doesnt make it okay. Ill be glad to update this review if the company makes things right by offering a refund for their mistake.

I took this group of boys and they had the best time. They all said it was so much fun. Its not easy to entertain teenagers. I didnt catch the girls name who was working but she was the best. Super friendly.

EDIT: I initially gave a 1 star review, however, after a call from the owner, who was very nice, I decided to change it. He explained that a new employee was working and it wasn t at all the normal experience. He refunded my game and invited us to come back if we are ever in San Antonio area (we came from Seattle, WA). A BIG thank you to the owner I had a poor experience with this room. The girls were nice but they didn t seem very invested in our experience. They left a lock unlocked so we had...
more information than we should have and had no idea what to do with it. They didn t keep up with where we were so when we asked for a clue, they gave us information we already had (way before). Sometimes they randomly gave answers to puzzles. We hadn t asked for a clue but she gave the whole answer to one of the locks with a word code, then told us exactly where and exactly what to look for when we asked for a clue, instead of a subtle hint. I ve never been more disappointed in an escape room, and I ve done many.

We went there the last second on a Sunday, and they were very accommodating to our small party. We tried the Sherlock Room, and it was a challenge for us newbies, but worth it and fun! It was also very neat and had a lot of awesome effects, better than other places weve been to. Definitely will be back.

This was not our first escape room, but this was definitely one of our BEST experiences. We had so much fun figuring out all of the clues. The room was set up perfectly, including the sound effects and the decor. It was perfect for large groups because it keeps everyone engaged. I would love to be a beta tester for one of The Exit Games new rooms. I heard they have Sherlock Holmes, Zodiac Killer, and others coming. If youre in San Antonio and want to have a great, challenging experience, schedule with The Exit Game.
