San Antonio Panic Room

Love this place, but its the same rooms since 2019. I wish the rooms would be updated or changed. If you havent been, definitely a must!

We did the prison one and the cabin fever and just felt blah about both. Nothing really stood out as overly exciting or fun. The staff were reachable by walkie talkie only. I enjoyed the tunnel crawl in the prison one but not after having to do it over and over to count hands. It s clearly an older room and I hope they update to newer game types.

This was so exciting and everyone gets a bit crazy when the time is counting down the staff went over the rest of the room that we missed. Even though we didnt make it we had a blast. Cant wait to go back.

Fun time on work event. Have been to other escape rooms and this was by far the most professional and thought through. Great concepts in the room and tough to figure out. Great time.

It was amazing. Emma was so clear were the clue help and assistance. First time going and we did Phase III Human trials, mind blowing. We almost made it out, but it takes clear communication in your group. Yea. Next time. Too many chiefs but still a great experience. Ha.

Really had a great time. We got together amd did a couples date and found the challenges were really something to accomplish requiring true team work. The only complaint would be the consistency with some of the answers however, the host was very helpful with the hints. BL: use your hints. You will have a blast.

Fun and challenging escape room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only issue we had was with the bathroom. Only 1 of the 2 were working at the time and the one we used was filthy. It could definitely use a good cleaning.

Highly recommend! We went as a family of 5 ages 39, 39, 18, 17 and 12. The clues were the perfect amount of difficulty. Not too easy but not so hard that we had to get a lot of help. We only needed one hint and we had a lot of fun! The employees made sure we had a great experience and were very friendly. Definitely going to be booking another room soon.

Super fun, not too difficult but definitely makes you feel like your doing some serious detective work.

This was a lot of fun! A great way to spend time with the siblings. Ana was incredibly friendly and patient with our repeated time checks. Definitely coming back!

Didnt respond to email and dont answer their phones. Only way to reach them is to leave a voicemail and wait -- cant comment on how quickly they call back.

We had a blast! Everyone really enjoyed their time in the different escape rooms! The clues were great as were the rooms! So much detail was included and it was really interactive and made you think! Definitely recommend! We had Kyle and Emma as our helpers and they were super friendly and helpful and very patient with us! We definitely want to come back!

We had a great time. We had the whole room and it was just 3 of us (with our teenage son). We didnt know what to expect, but we had a great time working as a team to figure out the clues. We got the right amount of hints, because without them I dont know if we couldve made it out with 6 minutes to spare. Shannon was wonderful helping us with our booking over the phone, and Emma was our guide who was also so helpful and kind. Definitely recommend.

it was such a fun experience!!! i have been wanting to do a escape room for a long time, and i decided to finally book a reservation. i didn t know it was based on reservations, so we booked one last minute (oops!) it still worked out just fine, and everyone was SUPER friendly. we arrived at 7:45, for our 8:00 reservation, and everything worked out perfectly! i would like to point out that EMMA was super friendly, and made everyone feel very welcomed. we love her and appreciate her taking the time...
Read full review to make sure we were all informed! she even took our photos at the end, and took her time to make sure everything went through perfectly. if it s your first time, i recommend bringing a note pad to take down notes! my family came unprepared, but the group we were with knew what they were doing lol! it was a fun time.

such a fun experience for me and my family! my other team members were so nice and welcoming. cabin fever was very challenging yet so much fun. Emma, the worker who has helped us was very kind as well! overall it was such a fun, exciting, and family friendly experience. me and my family would definitely go again. :)

I had an amazing time! I have gone twice now, and both times the staff have been friendly and helpful. The escape rooms are fun and challenging, and my friends and I have always had a good time. This past time we went, we were helped by Emma, and she was very helpful in telling us how much time we had left, and when we asked for our hints, she replied promptly. Great escape room experience, highly recommend!

We did Cabin Fever with a group of four and had a blast! The room is on the easier side and would be great for beginners, but it still had our experienced group scratching our heads a couple times and has some clever puzzles. The ambiance could use some improvement -- the fluorescent lighting felt more office than cabin and there were no ambient sounds to set the mood -- but the puzzle itself is solid. Our operator, Ana, provided excellent clues and was very polite and helpful throughout our visit. She was able to manage two rooms at once while responding immediately to our clue requests, so props to her! Well definitely be back to this place again to try another room.

We had an awesome time yesterday at my company s team builder. SA Panic Room was the perfect environment for us to learn to work together and have loads of fun at the same time! Our program host, Emma, was nothing short of amazing from guiding us through the sign in process to providing excellent guidance during our briefing prior to starting our room. Great time! Look forward to coming back!

My family and I did the cabin room and human trial theme, and we did kids V.S. adults to see which group can get out the quickest. The kids obviously escaped first, but we couldn t have done it without such great hosts, Emma and Kyle! It was a fun experience for the family and they were able to handle my loud family of 16 so well! We will definitely be back soon!

This panic room was definitely a challenge for sure! I really enjoyed coming here with my family and friend doing the prison break and wow the clues and everything was executed so well. A worker named Emma was so sweet and so kind making us feel welcomed and comfortable! She definitely deserves some appreciation and a raise.

My family and I booked the lab experiment room for my brothers birthday. While we did have fun, unfortunately there were problems from the very beginning and it turned out to be quite frustrating and disappointing! It was all of our first times doing one of these panic rooms and the host didnt give adequate guidance or instruction before we started. He was very hurried and vague. Read full review we must be wrong and kept trying other things until 10 to 15 mins later the host finally came in and said the lock was malfunctioning. There also seemed to be some clues that didnt belong in the room at all and it was entirely too dark to see other stuff. One particular clue that you were supposed to count marks on something was way too hard to see and count. It wasnt marked clearly and there were other markings from wear and tear or previous guests that made it impossible to count effectively. Also, it didnt seem like the host was paying close attention to us at all. When we called for our first clue he said he wasnt at the station to see where we were. And the communication device either wasnt working properly or the host just didnt answer us much of the time. It was like he chimed in when it was convenient for him rather than when we called or needed assistance. Halfway through in the second room, the host actually gave us a clue that was meant for another room/team. It was so confusing! We only found out when we asked him about the clue after the game was over. We made it to the last room but did not escape largely due to losing so much time because of faulty props and misleading/ damaged clues and an inattentive/careless host. I would love to visit another panic room where they have their act together but will not be returning to this place. The concept of these rooms is really neat and they have the potential to be so much fun. Unfortunately, the San Antonio Panic Room fails in the execution of this potentially awesome activity.

We made it out with 6:24 left! We had an awesome time figuring out all the clues in the room. The staff member Kyle gave us great clues which helped us escape. Would definitely be interested in coming back and trying another room for a better time!

I had a great first time with my amazing friends and even more extravagant girlfriend. I wouldnt have wanted to experience it any other way. And we could not have experienced it the way we did without our operator Emma! Thank you for such a good time!
