Great Room Escape San Antonio

This was our first family activity with 2 adults and 2 teens. Even though we failed the zombie room we had an amazing time time definitely will be coming back. Butler and zombie did an amazing job.

Online reservations were a great help to pick our room and sign waivers. Sara at the check-in desk was pleasant, Alex explained the tour, and Lauren at the Ax Throwing was helpful and patient with directions. Our group of 6 had an amazing afternoon! Thank you all!

Had a very enjoyable time. Place is very clean, staff is polite and nice. Did the bomb theme room. Didnt solve it. Had a good time anyway. If youre into this kind of thing, this a good one!

The stellar staff saves this one from being a 1. The staff was friendly and very fun to be around. Since the rooms here have staff in them, that really made all the difference, helping the experience from being a total disaster. Overall, the rooms arent fun to solve and lack a good sense of theme. With staff in the room, youll frequently find yourself distracted as they give red herrings, make jokes, and pull people aside for conversations, wasting valuable time so they can brag about how unsolvable their rooms are. Oh, and several of the rooms elements werent properly reset, meaning the experience was broken to begin with. Just a poor experience, in my opinion, which makes me sad, because I really loved the staff.

Did the Zombie Escape Room for my daughter (15) birthday tonight. It was full of puzzles to solve and immersive terror. I am a big chicken and after getting nauseous from fright, I was given a reprieve but my husband and teens were fueled by the scare factor. Destiny was an amazing zombie (that I might have nightmares about). My family and I (2 adults & 2 teens) did the Zombie room and we all had a blast. This was the first escape room weve done as a family and a first time ever for 3 of us. Sarah was an amazing host, giving us hints when we were really struggling to keep it fun. Read full review we were waiting. Loved that you could pick the game (we chose ducks). The host was wonderful! She taught us how to properly and safely throw without judgement. The whole place was chill, inviting, and fun. They have snacks, drinks, and merchandise to buy.

Absolutely amazing experience! We played zombie and it was the best escape room I ve played. Mac was our games butler and he absolutely killed it. Same with our zombie Destiny, very good eye at picking out the weakest member of our group and terrorizing her haha, love this place. If anyone deserves a tip, it s these guys

My friends and I did the zombie room and it was great!! The adrenaline rush being in the room was fun. Mac was a great host. Super helpful with us as newcomers and elevated the experience with his character. The zombie, Caleb, was also a great actor and added to the thrill. Would definitely come back again for another room escape or the haunted house event in October!!

The bomb room was so much fun, thank you to our host Blane! It was a great activity for me and my date, she had always wanted to do an escape room and kept mentioning after that she had a lot of fun! I do plan to return hopefully soon and try out the zombie one with her too. All the staff that day had great energy and were very hospitable, thank you.

The whole experience was so much fun. Mack and Destiny were great people, and informative about the place, the haunted house and the ghost tours. You guys should really come and experience the escape rooms-great people within the whole facility.

This was our 1st time doing an escape room as a family and we had a great time! The host explained everything really well and the room was challenging enough to keep us on our toes for the entire time. It also made us all work together and utilize all our different strengths, work as a team, etc. I would definitely recommend!!

We did the zombie escape room and it was an absolute blast even though we failed! Mac was playing our amazing butler and made sure we had a great time even when we were running out of time. And Caleb was our absolute menacing zombie that played the role perfectly! Those 2 actors have definitely perfected their craft with scaring people and making sure we had a good time!

Donavan, Alex and Chris were amazing at our adventure tonight! Chris was our check in host and went above and beyond! Donovan was the butcher on our Zombie experience and we couldn t have had a more professional person. He was so great with our family. Alex was the zombie and did the perfect job making our experience as scary as possible. My heart was pounding the entire time! We will definitely be back. Axe throwing is a cool way to end the night!!

This place is awesome. So much better than Tempe it was so much more difficult. If I come back to town I will definitely be back. Blaine was awesome in getting us in and into a room right away. Very friendly and nice to work with.

The escape rooms were AMAZING!!!!! The butler Donovan was totally in character the whole time and hilarious. The zombie Kaylm was awesome. They both were so engaging with the group and made the whole experience fun and exciting. The puzzles for the escape room were challenging and we would totally come back!!!

The bomb room was legit the bomb!! We had so much fun, and it was perfect for a party of 4. Beware though if you re sensitive to smoke/haze, as the room does fill with it, and it did bother my eyes just a little. Otherwise though, so much fun, and will definitely come back and try another room!

We had a great experience tonight with the escape room and axe throwing. We did the zombie room with Caleb and Nick as the live actors. Nick was a great host and really made it such a fun experience and Caleb was scary! Somebody give this guy a zombie role in Hollywood! This is one of the best escape rooms we ve done in a while. Then we went on to axe throwing and Chris was the attendant. He was super nice and explained everything well, he really made it a fun experience. We can t wait to come back another night!

Mac and Casper were AMAZING!! We had such a good time and they were so helpful and stayed in character the entire time. Mac told us that apparently there is only a 6% chance of beating the room and we did it!! Definitely go visit!

Had an awesome experience with the Zombie room tonight. Mac and Chris did an awesome job executing the room. The zombie room is incredibly intense, but the adrenaline can either push you to keep working against the time or stop you in your tracks. We look forward to returning. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

We, escape room addicts, brought some newbies ages 9 to 75 and we All throughly enjoyed the orient express room. Clues were a good level of challenging and a great level of fun. The way hidden compartments opened were totally cool, the videos on the walls giving realistic train experience veiws was very thoughtful and nice touches. And a great bonus was Donny the game master super friendly and helpful. Cant wait to come back see him and try the other / future rooms. Visiting for the Eclipse from corpus christi. Have done nearly 20 escape rooms and Anubis and Bomb Squad were neat games, but there were gaps to some of the puzzles that were a little frustrating. Game master was friendly and clear with instructions, but the hint giving puzzle master took too long to notice we were requesting hints especially with the aforementioned puzzles that were not clear when they were complete. A fun night with friends, but I d only go again for the Groupon rate - just don t believe it s worth the full cost.

Ive had the opportunity to do two of their rooms, Zombie and the Oriental Express. Zombie was amazing! Their Zombie is terrifying and totally recommend everyone to give it a shot. Doing puzzles while being scared is next level 10/10. The Oriental Express had the potential to be good too but we encountered some bugs with some of the clues that made us unable to progress which was infuriating.

Donovan and Sarah were great. Although we didn t make it out of our zombie escape room there were lots of laughs, scares, and just overall we had a lot of fun. 10/10 would recommend
