Red Door Escape Room Plano

Super great experience! We ended up trying the hardest room that had a 15% success rate and we got out! Employees are super friendly and helpful. There are a few buttons that didn t work but they did what they could to give the best experience. 10/10 recommend.

We did the Encounter room and it was a blast! One of the more difficult escape rooms Ive done but all the puzzles were fun to solve and well thought out. Jenna was great and made the whole experience seamless!

We had a wonderful time at Red Door. We did the Lost Ruins room and it was fairly challenging. Oscar was our game master and was great. Would definitely recommend, can t wait to try their other rooms!

Had a great time! Our game master, Tessa (I think? I m so sorry if I got their name wrong), was super fun, and my husband and I really enjoyed it! I love that you re in a private room without other groups even if you re only a group of 2, the room we played was very well maintained, and the buzzer you get to press when you escape was a really nice touch! Overall a great experience, I highly recommend!

We had a great time solving The Gift room! The story was fun and the puzzles were well thought out. Kat was friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic! She made the game super fun!

My team completed The Gift escape room. This was a very enjoyable escape room. I completed it with about 7 seconds to spare, so it wasnt very easy. It was a good challenge that you can still joke and play around with friends while you complete. The story line was very exciting, and my group laughed a bit during the intro video. I would recommend this to teens and younger adults as a fun activity to grow bonds with friends or teamates.

Had a great time with the family solving out Escape Room today. Oscar was the employee helping us and he was friendly, helpful, and made our experience unforgettable. Definitely will return, this place and its employees are fantastic.

Our group did The Gift room and had fun with it. Theming was cool and there were multiple sections inside that linked together. Only gripe is that the hint system is a little archaic for how up to date everything else is. Every room Ive done previously has had the game master give hints over intercom, but Red Door was limited to pre-written text on a screen. We ran into some issues where we solved some puzzles out of order and the hints available didnt apply to our situation. Figured it out eventually but it would be nice to get more tangible feedback on how our group is doing.

Lauren was an awesome host! We enjoyed the rooms a lot, great quality and technical features.

Unfortunately I would not recommend this place to others and I would highly recommend going to the escape game instead. A group of friends and I spent a little over $200 for what we thought was going to be a great escape room but it turns out it was old, decrepit, falling to pieces and even had broken puzzles. In one of the rooms there was a box fan sitting in the corner because it would get so uncomfortably hot in there. Not to mention it was 40 degrees last night and the rooms were sweltering...
Read full review. When looking around the room there were multiple things in need of repair wood falling off the sides of props, wires sticking out, and just all over in very poor condition. At one point the game master had to come in and tell us to stand in the corner and close our eyes since a puzzle wasn t working and he had to manually open the next clues. In the beginning our game master was not very attentive and we had to press the clue button multiple times before receiving a response. I could go on and on about other issues we encountered but overall my advice is stay clear of this place.

The room was really tough, but thats what makes it fun. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was clean, and it wasnt cramped. I would recommend it to others.

We have done 3 of the rooms so far and have had 3 amazing game masters, Melanie, Natalie and Matt!!! Everyone of the staff has been amazing and all three rooms are awesome! We are excited to come back and do the fourth!!!! Okay went back to do the final room and was helped by Angela and Kenzie and they were amazing!!!!! Thank you for another great time!!!!

Unique experience for my family. We went as a group of 7. My 11 yr old had the most fun solving clues and puzzles. Very clean, good and timely clues by game master. Although we were not able to escape, loved the challenge(Lost Ruins). Will definitely go back again.

It was a fun and challenging experience. We genuinely thought we werent going to make it and in fact only managed to complete it with just over 1 minute but theres nothing quite like hitting the button then looking at the clock and seeing that we did complete the challenge in time. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hints were useful while not being giveaways.

Love this place! We did all 4 rooms. All their puzzles are unique and fun. You always feel a sense of accomplishment when you re done. Jenna was our game master today and she was extremely welcoming and kind. We were a chaotic group and I love that they match your energy and play style. :)

We had a great time! Avery was our game master and helped guide us when we strayed too far. Thank you Avery for making our night!! The puzzles were great and definitely got us thinking!! We will be coming back soon!

While the room and game would have been fun, our game master kept giving us clues assuming we already had opened a box so we were stumped for like 20 minutes becuase we couldnt do anything more without a certain box. It made the experience almost a waste of money becuase there was no way to escape the game without those pieces.The game master should have been better at keeping up where we were in the game. We left felling a bit jipped.

What a fantastic experience! From our warm welcome to our personalized introduction and help in our room, this was a great time. The quest was fun and creative and we did not solve it but got close! We will be back!

What a great way to spend my birthday. My grown kids planned this adventure. We escaped The Ruins with time to spare. Our game master Elise found a way to sneak in a special surprise for my birthday!

Visited Red Door today on a family outing and had the best time. Our guide, Clara was so welcoming and is exceptional at what she does. A great activity for the whole family!

Elise was amazing today at the red door escape room. My friend and I tried the Heist room. We had so much fun trying to figure out the room. You should totally bring your friends here!!!

Did all four rooms with my bf and absolutely loved it all! The rooms are well designed and very challenging. Elyse was a fantastic game master!

I m updating my review to reflect my appreciation for her in hopes everything will improve moving forward. Very cliche saying but - if I could give this place zero stars I would. I went to red door Plano recently for a date night with my boyfriend and was sorely disappointed in wasting $82 on a room of broken puzzles and a game master that clearly...
Read full review wasn t paying attention to our game, provided unhelpful clues, ignored our multiple complaints throughout the game and disregarded me when I responded at the end with no I did not have fun . We did the warriors way and had experienced multiple of the puzzles broken which wasted most of our time, when we loudly acknowledged these issues with our game master over the intercom there was no solution given other than half hearted clues that weren t beneficial considering the puzzle was broken previously. I won t fault him for broken equipment, however his customer service and attention was lacking severely during our entire experience. After we finally escaped which felt like a consolation prize considering our upsetting experience, when asked if I had fun I responded with no and was disregarded by our game master, so once we grabbed our things we went out the door considering I had nothing nice to say to him at the time. I wish I stood my ground and requested a refund. Honestly disappointing service and will continue to spend my money at The Escape Game at either grapevine of the colony as they have always provided excellent quality experience and customer service.

Elise was so helpful for this challenging room! I love that it wasn t easy but super grateful for the assist. A total blast for small groups (2) or more!

We recently played the Lost Ruins at Red Door Plano. While we almost escaped, the experience was still amazing. The room was well designed and very detailed. There were a lot of interactive puzzles and props. Our game master AJ helped make the experience great, as well as all other staff were friendly and welcoming. We already purchased a gift card to return again!!

Clara was a great gamemaster. I had such a fun experience with my friends, and Clara made the experience so much better. Thank you Red Door Escape Room, and Clara for having me.
