11th Hour Escape

He could already feel the adrenaline pumping just thinking about entering one of the immersive escape rooms at 11th Hour Escape. Would he and his friends dare to try the Stranger Things room, lauded by so many for its detailed sets and engaging puzzles? Or would they test their mettle in the Doomsday Bunker, a high-stakes challenge with a 50% fail rate? He knew that whatever room they chose, the experience would be unforgettable — a test of teamwork, problem-solving, and quick thinking. He'd read the reviews; people raved about the challenging but not frustrating puzzles and the helpful clues provided by the attentive staff. He smiled, picturing the thrill of victory as they finally cracked the final code and escaped with mere minutes to spare. This wasn't just an escape room, he realized; it was an opportunity to create a story, a memory that would last long after the clock stopped ticking.

My group of four did the Stranger Things themed room. Weve done dozens of escape rooms, and this was easily one of the best. The set pieces are very detailed and fun, the puzzles are engaging, and the worker (I didnt catch her name! :( ) was fantastic. Well definitely be back to do the other room!

This room supports up to 15 people, so it was good for a work event. We had nine people. They state that there was a 50% fail rate. We finished in 47 minutes with three clues remaining. The theme was doomsday bunker. Parking is a little limited. Make sure you dont park in spaces reserved for other suites.

Came here to celebrate my bday and was not disappointed. We did the Stranger Things room on difficult and we had a blast. We escaped with 5 min left. Puzzles are challenging but not frustrating. You also get 3 free clues that are super helpful. I had a great time!

We went with newbie and experienced kids and adults. All of us came out of the Fallout Room very satisfied. The puzzles and clues were intriguing but not too frustrating. You dont have to be a nerd to figure it out, but it is a great challenge to be flexible in thinking and to work well as a team. A fun family outing, and I would definitely come with friends, coworkers, even as a group date. Pricing is cheaper than most and i like that there are cheaper prices early in the week. We will definitely return and do all the options.

Really fun room. The theming was amazing. We did the moderate difficulty with 4 adults and 2 teenagers. Finished it with 10 minutes to go. Used 2 hints, but we were on there right track both times.

We Didnt Wait Until the 11th Hour to Give This Place a Try! This is a smaller, local establishment and, like others have said, it is in a business park off-the-beaten-path. Dont let that deter you though, because this was worth the journey. We took on the Strangest Things room. The decorations were sparse but there was no doubt that we were in a scene from the show. If you are all about the visuals of the room then you may be a tad disappointed but if you love the show and let yourself go, you...
will quickly find yourself really enjoying the space. The group opted to go for the 25% level, otherwise known as hard, and were informed that 3 in 4 groups do not complete the room at this level. Once we got in and started on the puzzles I thought for sure we would be added to that failure rate. The puzzles were complex and challenging, but really fun and super inventive. I would love to meet the person who comes up with their puzzles just to shake his/her hand for a job well done. I cannot imagine taking on this room at the 10% level. Holy cow, that must be tough! In the end, we beat the room with 8 minutes and 29 seconds left. It was awesome. We all felt such an amazing rush because we seriously thought this room would best us. I would definitely suggest this room to anyone who loves the show and loves puzzles. We had two newbies with us and they both left excited to try another space. We will absolutely be back sometime soon to give the Fallout Shelter room a try.

This was my first experience doing an escape room and loved it! We had a group of 12 people from church who work together and we were able to escape with about 2 minutes remaining. Loved the way the clues were put together and everything connected. Great experience and awesome owners! Cant wait to do it again.

We did the Strangest Things Rooms on their Advanced setting (25% success rate) and managed to escape with 8 minutes remaining - yay! We took a few escape room newbies to this room, and admittedly when we first entered the room my heart sank - the room is sparsely decorated, and it didnt seem like there would be enough to keep everyone interested and occupied. But as the game progressed, the puzzles were challenging and smartly made, and my attitude quickly changed. The room keeps true to its theme...
, and the game master has an inventive (and appropriate) way of providing you nudges which I thought was brilliant. Yes, this room was built on a budget, but if you are a fan of the TV series, you absolutely have to give this room a try - their room design and ideas tick all the right boxes.

Did this with a large group and had an amazing time! The set up and puzzles were complicated enough to keep us on our toes and very busy. This is a perfect venue for team building exercises as well. Call ahead and make reservations.

I went with 9 thirteen year old girls for my daughters birthday and we loved it. The upside down theme was very well integrated. We did 25% escape rate and I was perfect, finished with 2 minutes left. Everyone had fun. I recommend it.

This is a themed escape room. We had a group of 15 people. The place is run by a techie, so the clues and props are well done. Everybody had a good time. It took us about 3 minutes short of the hour allowed, and we did escape. The place is clean. Google maps didnt get me to the very front of the place easily. I had to look at the location and then drive to it. It is on a small side street. The clues required some thought, but almost everything in the room had a meaning. There werent lots of time...
wasting distractions. The hints they give are probably required to escape. We had about 6 of those. The theme matches the 11th Hour Escape name and the room matches the theme very well. This place really has a unisex restroom. Staff is friendly and helpful. This one is way better than some rooms Ive been in.

My family makes it a tradition to do a room every year & have seen plenty in Texas & across the country. Entertaining puzzle, but very small & underwhelming design & room layout. Especially for the price.... costing us nearly $400 dollars when we have done more well-designed & creative rooms for a 1/4th of the price. Really should have gone with a room on Groupon.

We had a really great time. The experience is challenging and even though we failed, we had so much fun. We will have to come back and do the other room.

We were surprised there werent any reviews for this place until we learned that it had only been open for about two months. :) Our experience with 11th Hour Escape was fantastic. We were there to celebrate birthdays (with a party of 5) and were paired with another party of 5 celebrating a birthday. Were fairly introverted people, so werent sure how that was going to work, but it was great -- everyone was super nice and excited about the game. I think, regardless of who you work with, if you...
have a time limit and a set of goals (and the right mindset), you can successfully team up with anyone! I dont know exact ages between our two parties, but I can guess we had a group of 10 with ages ranging from 8 to 40+, and everyone had a good time (although the youngest was a little nervous at first). The staff at 11th Hour Escape were helpful, kind, and silly-- we loved working with them! They seemed like great people. Cant wait for them to open up another room for us to explore. The experience itself seemed slightly less immersive than another escape room weve participated in, but no less engaging. There were creative puzzles, and I really like the idea of a leveled game (easy, medium, hard). I work in education so I totally appreciate their differentiated approach to providing this awesome experience for everyone! Highly recommend you check it out! Its a little tricky to find it; but worth the search.

This was a great experience. We were able to take the whole family and our guide for the room was awesome. We chose the bomb shelter one, and it was challenging and fun! Perfect for a group outing.

This escape room might seem like its in a sketchy location, but dont let that fool you. The owner was exceptionally helpful and kind. The level of customer service we received was above and beyond. Although we didnt solve the puzzle, we still had a wonderful time, and I highly recommend the experience.

We did the Fallout Shelter and had a great time. Two families with kids age 8 to 11, we selected the 50% success rate and we finished with a minute left. Everyone in the family contributed to our success. Looking forward to going back for the Upside Down themed escape room.

The workers were not pleasant, not friendly & were somewhat rude & sarcastic in person as well as over the phone. The worker wore a mask, which made it very difficult to hear and understand her instructions given. The clues given were not very good nor clear. A microphone, could possibly help. There may have been more success in the room had the instructions been clearer and easy to hear. We would not recommend this location, especially not children.

We really enjoyed the room but I wish the clues were more clear. We had a hard time understanding what she was saying. I felt as though she was nervous and it definitely was showing in her clues. We wasted time trying to figure out what she was explaining to us.

We were visiting a suburb of Dallas and were looking for something to do inside, since it was so hot outside. We came across the Stranger Things escape room and had to to it. We had sooo much fun! We didn t make it out but if I were still in the area, I d go back and try again. Staff was great. Explained everything well before hand and gave us encouragement when we needed a hint. A fun family activity!!

Took a group of 18 from work to play both rooms at the same time: Fall our shelter and Stranger things. We did the 50% difficulty level... and NEITHER of our groups escaped! It was really really fun! The rooms were well decorated, and had great puzzles. The clues were fun. It was Ana amazing team building experience from a work perspective. (I hate to say anything negative... but a few of the ladies in our group were not happy with the public restroom situation. I think there was a urinal...
in the unisex bathroom. ) This is a small local business, so get out there and try it! The couple running the place seemed like they really put their heart and sole into setting this place up, and they seem to hve a passion for this! It was my first ever escape room experience, and I cannot wait to do another!

Our family of 7 did the Fallout room. What a great experience! Our ages ranged from 11 to 70 and everyone got a chance to find clues and solve puzzles. Our 11-year-old, who can often get frustrated easily, enjoyed it lots, stopping his search to say, This is so cool! The puzzles were clever and fun Booking was very convenient and amenable. The owners are very friendly.

Wife and I had one of our nephews for a weekend, and hes a Stranger Things fan. She found 11th hour, and the Upside-down escape room was the perfect game for him. It was us, another uncle, and the nephew (3 adults, 1 tween). We chose 50% difficulty, and it was a good challenge. The puzzles are creative and fun. You can divide and conquer, having multiple folks looking for clues, working on separate puzzles at once, etc. We paired off, and had a blast solving puzzles together, which really brought...
us closer together and respecting each others insight on things. Eventually we came together towards mid-to-end game to solve the remaining puzzles as a whole team, and we were high-fiveing and really ecstatic when someone in our group would have an a-HA! moment. Things made sense when you solved them, the clues made sense, the story flowed, and when things started happening in the room ... it was super-immersive! So, another weekend shows up, and we have another nephew. Decided to do an escape room again, but made the mistake of trying another escape room company first. That other companys experience was awful. So bad that we felt it wasnt fair to the 2nd nephew to leave him hanging with a bad escape room experience. We knew we had a great experience with 11th Hour last time, so we checked their schedule, and booked Fallout for later that same day. We get to Fallout, and, once again, the room was great. We were a bit tired and frazzled from the lackluster escape room earlier in the day, but our clue master was there for us giving great clues and reading the room to help us when we needed it. We almost made it out, but the ending was too devious for us. But, we had a blast the whole time. Once again, we could divide and conquer, which meant everyone had things to do instead of a few standing around watching others have fun solving stuff. And, again, the puzzles were tricky, but you really got that excitement when you had that a-HA! moment solving them. Weve been to various escape room companies, and 11th Hour ranks high on our list after the positive experiences weve had. I definitely recommend them.

August 2019 I went with a group of 6 for the Stranger Things themed room with 50% pass difficulty, all of us in our 20s, and with minimal escape room experience. First of all the room was great - really felt like we were in the show. The variety of locks/puzzles kept everyone active and engaged and the hints were clear/ straight to the point to help us along. With about an hour to solve the room, I thought the pacing of the puzzles for 50% was well designed and we ended up solving with only 7 minutes...
to spare! I wont spoil anything, but there were a few twists that were really immersive. For sure this room is a must for any stranger things fans, but Id be interested in returning to check out any other rooms they come up with or even trying with higher difficulty. Summary: +Amazing theme/ambience +Great explanation for newbies +Easy website sign-up, check-in +It was nice they allowed us to bring in our personal belonging ( kept in a box) into the room for security +Late hour availability +Close to Dart Station -I would carpool if driving. Parking available for larger parties may be limited directly in the front of 11th hour, but Im sure therere spots around the area or even at City Line dart station

Came with a competitive group of friends and none of us have done an escape room so naturally we went with Medium. We were SO close to escaping! Great introduction with simple guidelines by Bruce and Darcy at the beginning. Ridiculously fun and entertaining. We were still analyzing for hours after we left. Challenging yet satisfying even though we didnt make it out within the hour. Definitely for those who enjoy puzzles, brain teasers, and just straight up fun. Dont wait, get a group out and give it a try!

We went for a birthday party, and we had a blast! We chose the medium difficulty, and while it was pretty hard, we were still able to solve it. The atmosphere of the room was really good, and overall it was an amazing experience. We will definitely be coming back here again.

11th Hour was instrumental in me proposing to my (now) fiancé, and I cant thank them enough for being great gamemasters and co-conspirators! That being said, the Stranger Things room is really well done. The theming, pacing, and puzzles all are well thought out and executed, and I would definitely recommend it!

The Fallout shelter one was really fun. Great pacing and no frustration. The room is really spacious. Our team of 8 fit very comfortably.

Rating: 6/10 Difficulty: 10/10 Coolness: 8/10 Sketchy remote location. Darkly lit office space out of the way. Came early but got a rude welcome. Despite the surroundings they didn t let us in (we were early) because they don t open the doors until 15 min before the game. Not friendly if traveling on girls night out. Not close to dining options. Game master were not too friendly at first. They have this and one location in Austin. They only have one escape room but offer the unique...
offer of customizing your difficulty. Naturally we choose the expert setting with only 10% escape rate.. Very cool concept Waiting room very industrial but restroom needs work. Not female friendly Fallout shelter Storyline: Are you there over. Please respond over. It s the end of the world. And you find yourself locked in a fallout shelter. There are plenty of supplies to last you and your group awhile. But that s where the good news ends. You discover a problem with the oxygen supply and realize you must escape the shelter in 60 minutes. Luckily there are clues to help you make it out before you and your group are over. Recommended for ages 10 and up. Phones placed in small container but kept in room with us. First impression-wow. Aesthetically they nailed it. Looks like a fallout shelter. Very scarce clues. Nothing too high tech or not seen in other rooms. Environment got a little too warm. Ended up using all three clues but we again had no control over which hint to ask. They provided very cryptic. We ended up asking for 2 additional clues for added time of 6 minutes total. We completed and got out with time to spare but our end time was 61:32 with penalty time added. This was expert level but was very frustrating. We made some rookie mistakes. The two guys doing the room with us were equally frustrated and didn t like the room. Kids would love this room. Plenty of space. Hard room but not better than other options in Dallas like Escape HQ, Escape this or Panic room. Look forward to seeing their other room when opens up.
