I brought a group of 11 (ages 20s) and it was fun. We did The Apartment and almost beat the record with zero hints. I think The Apartment is suitable for children and elderly since it was slightly easy, at least compared to the 10+ people escape rooms I ve previously done (such as Escape Game - Playground ). Excellent service; they helped me manage my booking easily. However, Escape The Room TX looks like a literal apartment on the outside and was difficult to locate at first.
#TeamWork We went here for a Team Meeting at Work to strengthen on our ability to rely on each Tech for Help. What better way than to be locked in a room where the only way out is to Work Together! My co workers and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and a little competition in being the first group to successfully make it out alive. Lol -Sincerely The MVP of Winning
Horrible service. Their website glitched after I had gone to it beforehand and then revisited without being able to select the city I wanted to and made the reservation at the incorrect branch. Need to work on fixing their website, Im an IT guy, know what Im doing. Refuse to give refund will be filing a charge back with Amex. Learn customer service. 4 guys wouldve given tons of business here with other friends, we play many escape rooms, now cant wait to tell people to avoid this location.
We had a blast! We couldnt figure out any valuable information. We used about 5 clues and were still trapped. We argued like crazy no one listened not even to the person giving the clues! But it was fun!
Had a blast bringing my whole family there, including my toddler! The beginner room was prefect for us-- challenging but not too difficult. Excited to try the other rooms another time. Emily did a great job providing the right hints when needed for us to keep our momentum.
I liked the staff. I was disappointed with the room itself, a bunch of changes had been made that werent accounted for. Things werent properly set. Some things straight didnt work. Would not recommend.

Had a terrible experience with the place. I booked a room online and it showed that the Midtown location was showing a Submarine escape room. Turns out, website was glitching and we booked a non-existent room at the wrong location. We arrived there 30 min before the start time. They didnt refund or money back or give us a rebate of any kind. If I could leave 0 stars, I would.
I was extremely disappointed. My granddaughter that i only had for a few hours on May 18th went to this Escape room because it was something she had been wanting to do for a very long time. So we get there at 4:50pm. We wanted to do the Theater room, but was told that due to the storm 2 days ago it was not working and the only one available for right now was the Jurassic room. So I told them thats fine, well do it. Then I was told I would have to buy 4 tickets because they wont do it for 2 people...
. So I had to buy FOUR TICKETS. Then a we were going through the room, the guy kept coming on the intercom informing us that certain things didnt work and certain videos didnt work and certain things were not working completely right. So first we were told that the Theater room was not working, but that the Jurassic room was the only one working. But if you knew that a lot of things were not working in the Jurassic room, why did u not only make me buy FOUR TICKETS, but at least inform me that a lot of things were not working before making me buy FOUR TICKETS. I would think that since the room was not working properly, you should have let me and my granddaughter go in with just purchasing two tickets since we were not going to be able to experience the room as it would normally be when it is fully operating correctly. Extremely poor customer service and disregard for doing what is right.
We went and did the outbreak room and one of the machines was not working properly we used many hints because we thought we were doing it wrong, after using all of the hint as realized we were doing it correctly but the machine was messed up. This took almost the entire hour and when we told the workers all they said was oh sorry we spent a whole lot of money to play a game that was broken just to get a sorry. They could have given us some of our money back or a coupon or let us do a different room but no. Don t go here. A lot of there stuff is broken don t waste your money.
Horrible management and ownership. Customer service is a zero. Arrived 45 minutes early but they refused to give a room or refund. Came from out of town. Horrible horrible experience. DO NOT GO!!
Had such a fun time here! Our group originally did the Spy escape room and had such a great time we came back the same day and did the dig! Both times we had Josh as our game master and he was fantastic! He was always there to offer assistance and made it more fun! Would recommend!!
I am an official Escape Artist in that I ve done over 75 rooms in 4 different states. I am always looking for another good game. Doing the games at Escape the Room has been a wonderful addition to my escape game experience. A very important part of the experience is the Game Master and working with Carissa was AMAZING! She is very focused on the success of the gaming experience with all the patrons and she does an OUTSTANDING JOB all the way around paying attention to every detail. . I did teo...
rooms with Carissa and both were enjoyable experiences with successful escapes. It takes a special person to work at an Escape Room and Carissa has a passion for her job and she is definitely on her way to upper management in the future! She is one of the best examples of how game masters should act to optimize the best experience for everyone participating. I ll be back for more at Escape the Game Houston.
We loved this escape room! Our game masters Nathan Roosevelt were so helpful and made us feel comfortable. The room was challenging but made sense. We enjoyed it!
I would give zero stars but since this only option starting. The company has false advertisement on website says it closes at 11:00pm. me and my best friend arrived at 9:15 for reservations and was told they were closed, shortly after was told its a 4 party min on the weekend.I felt the staff was very dismissive. We were just trying to have a great time. She was already packing walking out the door very rude.
I Had a great first time at the escape room with my friends, the employees were great especially Roosevelt. He was a great help. Thank you for the great experience! We will be going a lot more often:)
My party and I had a blast doing the dig room. Our escape guide Jessie was really nice and helpful when explaining the rules. I would definitely return again.
This was my second trip here. The first room I did was okay, but the one I did more recently (The Apartment) was extremely disappointing and bad. It felt very poorly thought out, the quality of the decor and theming was abysmal, and it had virtually no puzzle aspect to it. It was almost entirely finding stuff in ridiculous hiding places with no reason to believe itd be hidden there. It wasnt fun at all and I felt bad spending $95 on it.
