Interesting first experience. Took my girlfriend here for a mini date. Age lives puzzles and escape rooms. It was interesting and fun up until we encountered a faulty room clue that even the clerk agreed was faulty. When our time ran out. We called back seeing if there was acting they could do it offer for the lost time for the malfunction that an employee confirmed, only to be told we didn t do it correctly by their supposed manager. It ll be hard for us to consider coming back here.
Super awesome ! Have to try it ! Its worth the Fun! Stacy was very informative and helpful! Have a beer or wine Leave your phone in the car or use the lockers Its not allowed in the escape rooms. Its awesome go for it!
Went here with 2 friends. We did the Pandemic room and it was great! We solved the room with only 1 minute left on the timer! We will definitely be coming back to do more rooms!
It was my birthday & From the moment i walked in i was greeted and treated really well. Me and my wife were about 30 minutes early and we were waiting for our party. There were plenty of places to sit and relax while waiting on our gang to get there. When we were all there, Matt and Ashley (Our game host) told us the rules and how everything works. Me and my 8 Friends had the best time. Our game Host was awesome as she never interfered with our progress and helped us when we needed it. We got out of our room with only 2 seconds to spare! After it was over the huge screen was lit up with a Happy Birthday sign for me. It was awesome. Thanks for helping to make this the best birthday i have had in years. - Mark
Went with 2 family members and none of us had ever been to an escape room before so we did the alamo. The room was really cool. Without spoiling anything, some parts were difficult but mostly pretty smooth and coherent. We didnt have any problems with any of our locks. We really enjoyed it and look forward to going to others in the future! Staff was really welcoming and nice.
I love this place! The two staff members that I interacted with (one was our game master and one was just there) were so funny! Our game master was really good about giving hints, and helping us go in the right direction when we got stuck. We did the Helter Skelter room and it was great! There was just the right amount of jump scares with out being too cheesy or so many that you couldnt focus on the clues. Based on other reviews, I thought it would be a lot scarier. The clues were easy enough to solve (most of them) without being too easy and they werent too complicated either. I definitely want to go back and try the other rooms!
What a awesome night, and the service was excellent, they explain everything to you. Answerd all the questions. We had a fun night! We played the De Vinci Code Breaker! I highly recommend it.
Two minors and an adult completed the Out of Time. It was so much for for kids. Service was superb! Had a blast!
Will not go back! When we entered the lobby was very warm and the air was clearly not working. We asked if the rooms were cool. We were assured the AC problem was just in the lobby. Well that was a lie! After paying and being shown to our room we were told the whole facility s AC was out. The game was so poorly maintained that props were duct taped back together and we had a Major issue with a Malfunctioning door that did not allow us to complete the game. After trying to be polite and speaking...
to the manger we were told that the employees told a completely different story and we must be making it up. We requested the manager look at security camera footage to prove what her employees actually said and did but she refused and was unbelievably rude from there. Simply won t go back! There are so many better escape rooms around. Trying something new doesn t always pay off!
we booked our time and we ran a little late but that was no issue and they just pushed our time back! we even got there a little before our new time and they let us in right away! the experience was something my friends and I will never forget, it was fun easy and very immersive! we did the Apollo 13 room and it was such a blast! I will recommend this to anyone who is a fan of escape rooms!
the room was filthy and so many pieces were broken. the components of the game didnt make sense and neither did the poor grammar hints. the game guide was clearly (hopefully) new and the receptionist was short and rude to me and my friend. The Escape Game has 2 locations in Houston- wayyyyy better. Ive done almost every room there and its iconic. One location in City Center and one in the Galleria. youll have more fun there.
This review is purely based on the Apollo XIII room*. My boyfriend and I did this room yesterday and we were so disappointed. The room is only 30 mins which costed us ~$22.99 per person. It was an instructional based room which Ive never had before and basically means the staff just tells you what to do and when to do it. This made the room extremely easy. For example, find 8 pieces scattered around the room now use those pieces to make a map. It was so easy, required no brain power and we finished...
* it in under 20 minutes. Definitely was not worth the money. The staff was lovely, however, and Im sad to leave a poor review but I just dont want others to waste their money like we did. Giving two stars because the room itself looked cool and the staff was nice but would not recommend that room at all.
Cool idea but the worst execution I have ever seen. Multiple puzzles didnt work and the constant flashing lights and sounds were overstimulating and almost giving my sister a panic attack. Our family of five was getting in each others way and I cant even imagine doing it with five more. We spent over twenty minutes trying to listen to the Morse code that wasnt even real when we had actually solved it a long time ago. Got boring very quickly and had way too many red herrings. No pictures at the end even though we finished it with three minutes left. Would not recommend.
If I didn t live so far, I d go to this place all the time. The guy who helped us was super friendly. My daughter wanted to go again to a new room. But I told her my brain was fried and I needed a break.
The employees were rude throughout the entire experience. Could not understand the directions/rules at the start because the host quickly mumbled through the speech. If we asked questions she would roll her eyes and get annoyed. She did not smile at any point, which I don t normally care about but the dirty looks were unnecessary. At the end our group was excited that we won so we cheered, and the same employee came in and said that we were being too loud.I ve never in my life received such terrible customer service. Aside from all that, the davinci room was really fun. Our group was determined to have a good time regardless of the circumstances.
3 stars for the cool da Vinci room. The staff was absolutely awful. We booked a party for a friends birthday, and immediately the girl with tattoos at the front was rude. When we got into the room, the second girl frequently rolled her eyes and acted annoyed with the group. We were excited and apologized for questions, but were there to have fun. The place has potential but one rude employee can really turn the culture of a place. We had fun regardless!
We were extremely disappointed with our experience. When we started everything was fine and our game host was pretty attentive to what we were doing. However, there was a portion of the game where we spent a solid 10 minutes trying to pump air into a valve and there was clearly a technical issue with the room. We didn t receive any help even though we were on the right track. Someone then eventually came in and he also struggled for about 2 minutes to which our time was still running through this...
whole fiasco. The game host finally paused the game after her coworker struggled for a couple more minutes, to which his solution was to just pull up the next game portion. We were not offered any extra time to replace the time spent on the technical issue. We didn t expect to get a refund or anything, but an extra 5 minutes (at least) would have been nice.
My husband was hesitant at first but enjoyed himself so much that he wanted to immediately go into another room
This place is amazing. Fun game experience that exercises your logical skills & series of clues & game pieces to assist in completion of the challenge. Go as a group, bc like they say 2 heads are better than 1 .
Me and my cousins were hoping to have an amazing time and get to explore something new but we all regret going to this place so inconvenient as there was absolutely no plot to the room they also made us act like dogs just to get the clue by making us raise our hands and say clue over and over again which is unacceptable this room was also so Inconstructonal because when we asked for a clue the staff just told us what to do and we wanted to try things out to add quality was horrible speakers were barely working room looked cheap Overall this is just one of the worst escape rooms I have ever visited in my whole life and wasn t exciting as we hoped for it to be
Did the Pandemic room with my SO for our anniversary and it was lots of fun. Paid about $57 for two people for one hour. The room itself was a bloody scene bc of the zombies that had been infected, so just an fyi for those who are scared of that stuff. Phones are not allowed in the escape rooms, lockers are provided and fit a medium sized purse. Recommend to those who love puzzles and problem solving w friends. Really enjoyed my experience, would come again!
Escape room had one puzzle that we finished in 5 minutes. Huge rip off. The whole facility smells like weed too.
We had such an amazing experience the whole staff was so nice. The day had been stressful for everyone prior to arriving. The staff went above and beyond for us. Thank you for the amazing birthday experience. We all had a blast! We did the pandemic room, saved the world with 2 minutes to spare.
This escape place was great! We did the Pandemic room, and there was so much detail and props to make it look like I was actually in a zombie lab! The room itself was difficult but not enough to make it unenjoyable, it s a great challenge, and the price for all of this is amazing! Cheaper than anything I ve paid for an escape room and way better quality too! Definitely coming back with my friends.
I wish I could forget the Alamo. Dont waste your money!! Where should I start with all the things that make this a terrible escape room? For some background, I went with 7 other adults who have all done a couple escape rooms before, but are by no means super experienced. This was by far the worst one. Here are the major issues: - Only one puzzle at a time. If the room is built for 10 people, there should be at least a couple things to work on at a given time. What ended up happening is that 1-2...
people would work on a puzzle and the rest would just have to stand around. - Many of the puzzle locks are broken, so we would put the correct number combination into the lock and it would not work. We had to do this multiple times. - The puzzles are basic. The vast majority of the puzzles, were just a combination of 3-4 numbers. It got boring really quickly. If you are looking to have a fun time, dont come to this room.
