The Escape Game The Colony

We came and did two amazing escape rooms. Ben was amazing on the first one that we did. Unfortunately I can t remember the other gentleman that showed us to the second one. Had a blast and would definitely come back for another one. A goose place to spend with friends and family.

First time doing one of these places and I cant wait to do another. This place has set a bar that will be hard to beat. Super friendly staff that appear to really enjoy their jobs. Everyone was smiling and making sure my party had a great time...which we did. Place is clean and set pieces are top notch. Keep up the good work.

So much fun! The staff was excellent, our guide was Haddon and he rocked. We did Timeliner and were not shy about asking for hints when we needed them. It was a really fun experience. This place is SO much fun if you and your friends love puzzles. The challenges are so well thought out and the difficulty levels are perfectly labeled. Everything is gorgeous to look at and the scenery is well developed. If you want to come, make sure to book ahead because it gets pretty busy on some days. Read full review much fun working through all the puzzles together. I have to give a special shout out to our escape master Lily H. She was so kind, funny, and attentive. She gave us the perfect level of hints for the puzzle and didn t spoil anything. When we come back, I hope to see her again.

This has been my FAVORITE escape room EVER! I don t remember the guy that greeted us this morning, but he and Dakota (who helped us the second time we came) were both incredibly nice and helpful! Then we get to the rooms, we did Prison Escape and Gold rush. Noah was an outright AWESOME game master! He was helpful and nice without being over bearing. But Lilly, she was THE BEST! Her personality is great for customer service, she is an incredible asset! And she was incredibly helpful and just a lot of fun! Not to mention, we broke the daily record for Gold Rush. We WILL be back!

We had the best time at The Escape Game in Grandscape! We were two moms and 4 kids under 11 playing at the Playground . It was the perfect challenge level for our range. The kids had a blast and it was the time we escaped the room! Mac, our game host/guide, was amazing! Their energy and enthusiasm made our experience unforgettable!

After a less than stellar first experience the management team of The Escape Room in the The Colony reached out genuinely apologetic, and offered for us to try another room at no cost to us. The first room that we did - the Mysterious Market - had a few puzzles that did not work well as well as some lighting issues. Read full review in varying difficulty. This room had something for everyone. Lots of clever clues and told a fun story. We also had a great Gamemaster - Dakota. She was friendly and insightful. The price point of $40 each is typical of most escape rooms...actually maybe a little less expensive than average. They will place you with other groups if need be, but if you strategically plan your adventure you can still have a private room. But the main reason that this Escape Room has the 5 stars that it does is the customer service. If something is not up to your expectations, management wants to know about it and they will correct it. We can not wait to try another room! Awesome place! So fun to do with a group, weve done 3 different rooms and all were fantastic experiences. Staff were all really cool people.

My family and I did the Depth game. It was a lot ofnfun and we did escape.l with 56 seconds left on the clock. It was just the 4 of us in the room and I think thats a good number. If we had a larger group some people might not have been able to participate and we might not have been able to solve the puzzle. Also, the rooms are not huge so if there were more people it would have been too tight.

We had never done an escape room before, and decided to give it a go on a whim! Best decision ever. We had an absolute blast and had the best game guide, Bryan (with the glasses.) Will definitely come back!

We had a GREAT time playing these rooms. The rooms were really fun, all the puzzles worked and were in great shape, they were interesting and well thought out. Only negative was the company policy about playing with other people or paying a small fortune to play alone. They should change that policy to be accommodating for 2 players with a reasonable budget.

The right amount of fun and challenge to make it worthwhile! We had such a great time with our first game (Playground) and our host Emily, that we decided to book a second game 30 mins later! Prison break, with Avery as our host, was much harder but totally worth it. Avery was quick to help and encourage. So fun!

Me and my friends had such a good time here! It was a last minute decision but we are so happy we decided to go. Bryan (with the glasses) was an awesome game guide! This was all of our first time doing an actual escape room and he was so kind and made us feel comfortable! Best experience I ve had so far and I ve done multiple rooms, Lexy was an AMAZING host even went the extra mile for our little silly role playing game of Gotham city lol, she made us lanyards with our made up names and all she was the best thanks Lexy

Such a great experience for a team activity, it REALLY makes you think! Audrey and the Escape Room team is great and helped to make it a fun experience.

So much fun!!! I ve been to many escape rooms and I have to say the playground at The Escape Game was a BLAST! Miracle was our game guide and surprised us with a cute personal gift at the end for a concert we are in town for Such a friendly staff. Will be back!

Lily was phenomenal! Super funny and got us all into the game with strangers very seamlessly. Would 100% recommend Lily to all my friends looking for a game guru!!

Excellent game experience. Mack was very informative and the best game guide. First time.olaying and not my last for sure. Recommend this to anyone interested in having a wonderful bonding experience. Escape rooms rock.

This was our first experience as a family and we had a blast. We did the Gold Rush and were hosted by Audrey. She was so nice to my kids and patient to explain everything as they were so excited (ages 7-9 years old). Highly recommend the Grandscape location and we will definitely be back.

We did the Timeliner! They mentioned that it was their most recent addition to their collection and it definitely stood out for its technological advancement amongst escape rooms, interesting theme, and dedication to its theme! I loved playing and it was family friendly without being discouraging! EDIT: Katie was our game-master and was prompt to help us when we werent sure!

We had an awesome time!! We booked a team building event and split between The Playground and The Special Ops rooms. The facility is amazing and its so nice to have a clue every now and then to help guide you through. This was our first experience at The Escape Game (The Colony location) and we will definitely be coming back!! The hosts onsite were very helpful and Zach was so helpful when I was setting up the event! Go check them out!

This place is so great! Super fun, great puzzles, elaborately decorated rooms with high level of technology (ie electric locks, hidden doors, mechanical levers, a slide, etc). Staff is super friendly and helpful. When you get stuck, unlimited clues to help. Keeps it moving forward. On multiple visits to Plano we did all of the rooms here. The only one that seemed to be too much for our small group was the playground one. It is for larger groups. But even then it was fun. Prison one is super cool...

Emily & Ben were awesome guides! We did Gold Rush which is a level 7! I had some amazing teammates! SHOUT OUT TO LINCOLN!!! His family and the ladies on our team were sharp! We finished with 15 minutes left on the time clock! Amazing experience. Cant wait to do it again! Great people, great fun! We had a blast!

Had so much fun with the family in the gold rush room! With Dennis as our guide we got out with 1 minute to spare! Highly recommend!
