Escape Hour Austin

What an incredibly fun experience! Our game master was so sweet and helpful. We did the cove room. Such a ton of fun with our friends and a thoroughly planned out experience! Will definitely be back on our next trip to Austin!

Today we did our second room with Escape Hour, and it was FANTASTIC! Weve done many escape rooms, at many different places, and the experience today was our favorite ever of all time. We did The Cabin, and... WOW! It was so much fun. Our Game Master (major shout-out to Ky!) was simply amazing, and really took the fun to the next level. Im not going to reveal any secrets, but suffice to say... Im VERY impressed. This is a must not miss game!

Very impressively designed escape room. We did The Cabin and it truly felt like we were characters in our very own psychological thriller movie. Think escape room meets haunted house. As someone who loves both of those things, this was an absolute blast... But its probably not for everyone! This was the first escape room we did at the escape hour and we are looking forward to trying them all. Thanks for a super unique and exciting experience!

This was our first time here. We had such a a great time. From the moment you walk in till you leave, you feel special. Everyone was so friendly. Our game master was Brady. He was on point and really guided us if we were stuck. I loved the fact that they give unlimited clues. The room we did was The crypt. Such a cool experience. All the puzzles were really well done. Even though we didnt escape, it was such a good room. We cant wait to go back and try the other rooms. Highly recommend going here.

Seriously one of the best escape rooms there are! The staff are always so friendly. The rooms are difficult but organized well. We ve done 5 rooms here and loved them all! All their rooms are private which our group enjoys. They give you 70 minutes which is longer than the typical escape rooms. Definitely check them out!

Ive been to this place twice and Ive had a lot of fun doing their escape rooms. We recently did the crypt and even though we didnt make it out, it was a blast with challenging puzzles that made us work together. Cant wait to return back! They have lockers to put away your phones as phones and photography are not allowed inside the rooms. Theres drinking water and a restroom available inside.

This was my first time in an escape room place (my boyfriends too!) and we were blown away! We did the crypt and were greeted by Brady and honestly had the best time, the experience blew our minds. We re probably going to become passport members it s totally worth it. Highly recommend! Who else can say they ve been to an award winning escape room?

I cannot say enough good things about this place. My family does EVERY single room they have and they do not disappoint. Staff is wonderful and the rooms are some of the best weve come across (and we even check out rooms while were on vacation). Special shout out to Megan who managed to impress us even after weve been here MANY times. If you go to one of their rooms and enjoy it, invest in their passport. Its worth it and also just fun to have. Lastly, although its not for the faint of heart, the Cabin was AMAZING! Favorite escape room yet. SOOO excited that there will be a part 2.

We tried The Crypt and it was the best escape room I ve ever done! Our group of 6 made it out with only 3 minutes to spare and everyone had plenty to do during the experience. Brady was our clue giver and he did an amazing job. Everyone loved it and we will absolutely be back to try additional rooms.

We did The Cabin, Part 1 and had so much fun! It was genuinely scary and super challenging. We did not manage to solve it, even with two teenagers. Leah is a fabulous guide and actress! Thank you for a good time, Escape Hour!

This was such a good experience! We did Crypt, and it was incredibly fun and engaging. The sets were delightful, and our game master Brady gave just the right amount of help to keep us fast-paced. The room was dense with creative puzzles. We JUST made it out, and we were buzzing with adrenaline afterward! Makes me want to visit Austin again just to try the rest of their rooms.

we played crypt and it was the coolest ever!! the puzzles were interactive and complex without being too confusing. Even with a big group, it felt like someone always had something to do. All the construction and design was super solid. One of the best escape rooms i ve ever played!! Gabi was also an amazing GM, wonderful experience all around!!!

We went here for a team outing today and it was absolutely superb! The game was challenging, team-oriented, and thought provoking. I would definitely recommend any enthusiast checking out the rooms. I have done about 5 escape rooms and Lab Rats was challenging enough that we did not escape. Marie was our Game Master and she went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time!!!

I ve done several rooms here and they are all fantastic! I am an avid escape room fan and I have done A LOT of escape rooms. I have got to say I think the Cabin at Escape Hour Austin is my favorite. I have quite literally never been more scared in my entire life. The production quality left nothing to be desired and all the puzzles and clues flowed perfectly. All the rooms I ve done at this location have blown me away! I would highly recommend going here!

Perfect Father s Day activity with my wife and kids ages 10, 11, and 12. Hijacked on the Holiday Express was challenging yet doable and engaging for all of us with delightful surprises along the way. Also a fun mental escape from the summer heat! We took advantage of several clues and saved Christmas with only seconds to spare, phew! Our conductor was welcoming, friendly, and encouraging. We look forward to returning!

This was the most immersive experience and one of the best experiences I have ever had an escape from. It scratches all of the right parts you look for while playing an escape room. I will recommend this to anyone wanting to play an escape room you will not be disappointed and for what you pay it is well worth it thank you too our game master Percy!!! I ve done almost every room at this location and every single one is better than the last. None of the other escape rooms hold a candle to these. I just left the Cabin Part 1 and I cannot express how unique the experience was and how amazing our host was. It s not for the faint of heart but as someone who loves horror I was amazed. I wish I remembered our hosts name she deserves amazing kudos, from the second we walked into the door she committed to the bit and never broke. Also if there is any way I can see the footage of my best friend tripping I would kill for it. It was so funny

My husband and I had a last at Escape Hour tonight doing the Baker s Street Mystery! We do a lot of escape rooms and this was one of the most fun and challenging ones we ve done in a while. Leah was a fantastic game master and would ask us if we wanted clues when she saw we were getting stuck. Overall it was a great experience we will definitely be back!

Went with my son and we both and an absolute blast. The puzzles were a lot of fun, and the perfect level of challenging. Plus the clever way of optionally providing clues really helped keep things moving along, without making it too easy. The props were high quality and the rooms looked great. We managed to finish with just 3 seconds left! Great place! Both of us can t wait to come back and do more rooms in the future.

Recently escaped from The Crypt with one minute to spare! This one of the best escape rooms Ive ever been to. I dont want to spoil anything for future players, but the game included enough rooms and puzzles that our entire group of five was occupied in small groups the entire time but occasionally had to come together to solve larger clues. The staff was super engaged in making our experience as good as possible, providing hints or tips when we had spent too long on any particular thing. Would highly recommend!!

Played 2 games there and the scenic was terrific and game play was great. Not an ethical business practice to not show people paying hundreds of dollars to play a game and not show the ending that people spent 70 minutes trying to get to. As an out of town enthusiast thats played over 150 rooms, I have NEVER been to a place where they are unwilling to show the ending of a room. Seems like a money grab for additional revenue. Had we known you wouldnt even be shown the ending, we woulda saved the almost $200 for 2 players.

Sidney was an amazing host; she immersed us as soon as we walked through the door asking, ARE YOU THE PARANORMAL INVESTIGATORS WEVE BEEN WAITING FOR?!?! She never broke character even when we asked specific logistical questions and got us started on the right track! Mattie was our spirit helping us and she was also fantastic. I was so scared I genuinely could not think clearly while solving that room but our game master /mattie helped out a ton without breaking the immersion or making it super obvious what to do (which made solving the puzzles all the more rewarding!) Thank y all for such an amazing experience and taking such good care of us. Fair warning this room is actually pretty scary.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! My boyfriend and I were first timers to escape rooms, but this was the best place to start what will now be an obsession. Completely private experience. We did the Baker Street, which was exciting and challenging! My advice would be to arrive 10 mins before your time so you can have the full experience. Come here and support this place. You won t regret it!

We have completed several rooms at the Escape Hour in Austin. However, The Cabin part one was one of the best. It was scary, intriguing and lots of fun. The host did a great job keeping us on are toes. If you looking for a fun time you must complete one of the Escape Rooms at the Escape Hour.
