We did the Oval Office room and it was very cool! It ended up being just my friend and I but it was the perfect amount of challenging and entertaining. We were able to solve the room with just a couple hints. Don t be discouraged by the success rates on the website, it seems like more people complete them than it says!

I chose this escape room because it was a smaller venue, unfortunately we got what we paid for. This escape room company is in an older historic home. The ac wasn t working, which made game play very uncomfortable and hard to focus. The room was mostly fine. We ve done over 50 so it was on the lower end. It was just basic locks nothing high tech but that doesn t really bother us. Unfortunately the final lock either wasnt reset right or failed. Either way, it was really hard to keep playing after...
that. It was so stuffy already. The game master was good. I really appreciated her clues because she didn t outright give us the answer to what we were doing wrong. But when the game ended and she took our picture she just left. We had no idea how to get out. It s house so you d think it s pretty simple, but we actually got stuck for a minute. Overall, I wasn t impressed. I would not return.

We were in Austin for a company offsite and enjoyed the Panic Room (29 of us between 4 rooms) as a team-building and cooperation event. It was the right level of complexity for escape room beginners and experts. Also, they were accommodating with having us all go together vs at different times. Would recommend!

It was OK... if youre into a mid-level quality venue but, with good puzzles this is the place for you. It was a good puzzle but the house they put it in is definitely... historic. Overall decent experience but, wont be back.

We loved the panic room and had a great experience. Walter did not let us falter. Walter was awesome and help us get so close to solving the Oval Office. The room design is great and to the theme. (The oval office is almost oval.) The puzzles are interesting and solvable. The mechanics and connections kept us interested. We never felt overwhelmed or that a puzzle was unsolvable. If we were a bit lost, Walter was sure to keep us on track. Thank you for the fun! We cant wait to visit again.

This place is crazy fun! This was my second visit and although the rooms are challenging, it is so exciting and intense. The facilitators have always been excellent and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this as a group activity or a way to make new friends.

We had a fantastic time at Austin Panic Room! We ve done a dozen or so escape rooms as a team, this one was up there in terms of creativity and fun. Angelica and Cameron guided us through Human Trials, which takes place in the basement of the building - this added to the fantastic creepy atmosphere the room. We will be back to try out additional rooms, thanks APR team!

My friends and I did the White House game. Where your in the Oval Office. Lots of fun. Even though it was a single room game we really enjoyed the details and props. Will try their other rooms next time in in Austin.

We did the Prison room with a group of 8 and finished in about 30 minutes. The room was well designed with enough concurrent puzzles to keep everyone in the room engaged. A bit of lateral thinking was required. The props were well-loved, but in good shape overall. Our Operator was Kynzie and she was a blast! Set the tone for a positive and fun experience. Well likely go back to APR to try the other rooms.

We had an awesome time at Austin Panic Room. The environment is clean and well maintained. We did the Oval Room. It was a challenge but not unreasonably difficult. Our host was Austin. He was great with the clues he gave us but didnt give us too much info. Check in and out was super easy. Highly recommend.

We did the oval room. It was a bit hard but very enjoyable. Austin panic room is a very nice place to visit with a group and they also have discounts for group of 15 or more people. Our guide was also very nice. There is a lot of parking space available for the guests. Totally worth it experience.

This place is a cool place if you like solving puzzles! Theres two rooms, the museum room and the bomb room. Our group chose the bomb room since we had 10 people, and it was really fun! The museum room is small so it can fit from 4 to 8 people, and the bomb room is the bigger room that can fit 4 to 10 people. Once you go inside they give you an hour to escape! The room is scattered with clues for you to solve as a team. They give you a walkie-talkie to the team leader in case your team meets a dead-end...
. They also give you a pen and paper for you guys to write down the clues. It was a great experience! Our team made it only having 7 minutes left. The ones who do make it get their picture taken on the wall! Overall I would say that it was a great place with a cool concept with generally good execution. The staff was nice and they did a great job with the place! Cant wait until the puzzle rotates- we will be there again!!!

What an awesome experience! We did cabin fever and it took 3 novice escape artists the full hour! So much fun. Lots of great /interactive puzzles and codes that kept everyone engaged. Jen, our guide, was so awesome to work with!! She made our experience that much better! We will be back to do another room based on her recommendations. Thank you so much!

first time coming here & this place was alright. decided to book here for my birthday activity on Saturday August 26th. we walked in and it was pretty small space that felt stuffy & hot. ac seemed to not be working & that s just rough on staff and customers especially in an ongoing excessive heat warning. one guy working was cool, i guess, he was awkward and seemed uncomfortable around people but still nice guy and knowledgeable of the games & company. when we went downstairs to play the academy...
it smelt like someone had just taken a dump in the downstairs smell especially got worse near the sign that was a restroom & said employees only that made the experience a little gross but once i went nose blind it was better but maybe invest in some febreeze for the bathrooms. i have tried multiple other escape games in austin & i think there are better options elsewhere that are newer & cleaner.

Long time escape room goer. Had a wonderful time at all 3 of the rooms here! Sam was one of the most exciting game masters we ve ever had, their enthusiasm was contagious and really enhanced the experience; Janine was excellent as well, and was super engaged with our feedback on the recently revamped and improved academy room!

We had a great time at the Cabin Fever room with Sam as our host. The room was a decent mix of fun and challenging, and Sam did a great job with the hints and tips when we were stuck. Will definitely come again

We had a group of 8 solve The Academy . The Pros: the staff were super friendly, helpful and kind. We were running late and they were flexible which I really appreciated. The Cons: the room smelled horrible. It had a septic / sulfur smell that made my pregnant SIL nauseous. There were at least 3 spots in our room where puzzles were not functioning correctly and they ended up costing us time and quite a bit of confusion. Also, the place is pretty run down and messy. Everything looks worn, dated or cluttered. We ve visited another panic room in Austin that was a much better experience. There is no way this was worth $280 for our group.

Great time with friends as we made it out of the Oval Office with 46 seconds left on the clock, cutting it close! Allison was our host for the room and she was awesome, polite, and very courteous. Would recommend to anyone who want a challenging fun experience

Super fun!! Got to do the Phase 3 room with some friends and was impressed by the set up! Great for team bonding or just a fun night out with friends. Definitely challenged how we worked together and communicated with each other! Would definitely recommend! Eric Hung was our operator and he was very helpful! 10/10 would do again if I could.

Definitely one of the more fun experiences I ve had in Austin so far! I love puzzles and the Cabin room was so cool. It felt like we were really inside a cabin and solving every clue made us so excited! I want to try the other rooms next time. Thanks Austin for being such a positive guide!
