Was very fun!! This was for an employee appreciation day event. Definitely a lovely team building experience. We booked two rooms since we had a large group and got to know a few coworkers better that Ive not worked with. Definitely recommend!

My wife and I came to Escape in 60 multiple times during our 5 day visit to Charleston. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. They do a great job making sure you understand the room and tailor their hints to your specific group (more if you want them and fewer if you dont). Their rooms are well designed and thought-provoking. Challenge level is very appropriate, and the game masters are very attentive to your game so that you dont end up hopelessly stuck. I would recommend this to any group who visits the city and likes escape rooms. They are a local business and very much worth your time and patronage.

We had a blast. The escape roo. Was very elaborate and somewhat difficult. Im glad we brought our 12 yr old or my wife and I and the older children would have never figured it out. More than the fun of the escape room the staff was amazing, super friendly, super fun, and very helpful. My wife doesnt like stuff like this and through her interactions with the staff and them being such good sports she actually had fun. We would definitely suggest this to friends for a fun experience!

Did the Pharaohs Tomb one as someone who had never been in an escape room before. It was much harder than expected so be prepared! Pretty fun even though we didnt figure it out. Great staff who spent some extra time talking us through the unsolved puzzles at the end.

Its always an enjoyable and exciting time here! The staff is always so enthusiastic and friendly. The rooms we have done were davey jones, Locker, ransome, and the Witchs Attic, which were all such a fun and puzzling experience. Some are more challenging than the others, but the groups favorite had to be the witchs attic. Its so spooky yet challenging and has such an amazing setup, which is perfect just in time for the halloween season. If youre looking for a fun group activity to do in Charleston, this is definitely a must, especially for my family.

Makaila was FANTASTIC. She was fun and helped when needed. She was so good we did back to back rooms. A few puzzles had some glitches, but she sprang into action and took care of them. Overall would return.

What an amazing escape room! Right in the heart of Charleston, this well built building has a lot of charm and so much fun secrets to discover in each room! We completed After Hours and our guide Elishah was so fun and made sure we had a blast while attempting to escape! If you are in Charleston and looking for something fun to do, definitely check out Escape in 60!

Its okay as an escape room. My daughter and I have been doing them for about 8 years. We have seen great rooms and weve seen some terrible rooms too. This one is close to being a 5 star. The quality of the rooms and the thoughtfulness of the clues was good. The only issue is the timing of the actions and the flow of the room. Having random unlocks that are silent without clear triggers really makes the tasks feel disjointed.

Had a great time! Brought my 11yr old and 16 yr old and they lived it too. Nothing crazy difficult but really well designed rooms.

In retrospect, I should probably have taken inventory of the number of escape rooms Ive done over the last ::checks calendar:: decade. Thats a frightening amount of time to consider and I may need to sit down and think of what Ive done with my life... but before I do that, let me assure you that if youre anything like me and have more than a few dozen escape rooms under your belt, please know this place will surprise you with concepts you have yet to see, all while being beginner-friendly to anyone...
who has never locked themselves into a puzzle room for 60 minutes before. The funny thing is we took a chance on being able to come here. Through a conflict with another escape room operator in town that will remain nameless, we found ourselves looking for an alternative escape room to fill our afternoon. And Escape in 60 more than delivered. I need to confess that I am the worst person on the planet when it comes to names. I (shamefully) cannot remember the name of our operator... she worked with us on Friday, she had impressive taste in shoes, and her quick wit was masterful beyond compare. (If she is reading this, or the Escape in 60 team is reading this, please do pass along these words because she was wonderful.) We knew we were in good hands and when our hostess walked us upstairs to the Roulette Me Out room, we knew the escape room gods had smiled upon us. I often comment that you cant really talk about an escape room without spoiling the experience, and I will not be doing that here. But an escape room in 2024 that, as far as I remember, had one lock/key puzzle? Thats a rarity worth praising, Id say. There were several clever puzzles in this one that none of us had seen previously and if that kind of approach extends to the other rooms Escape in 60 offers, than they have absolutely created something special here for locals and tourists alike. I mentioned it way above but whether you are an escape room veteran or youre looking to see what the fun is all about, you cannot go wrong with Escape in 60. From the engaging staff to the thoughtful scenarios and creative challenges, it should rank high on your list of places to visit the next time youre in town.

First escape room weve ever done! We had a phenomenal time! Escape Davey Jones locker in 56 minutes. Our strongest skill was to not get hung up on one task. There were 5 of us - 4 members 18 and over and one teenager. A few of us focused on the task at hand while the others looked for the next clues. I will definitely be going back!

A good experience on a date night in downtown Charleston! We arrived early and were able to book the room we wanted (the Ransom room). While we were waiting they had games and music playing. Which kept me busy and entertained all at once lol. We had to sign the typical waivers and wait for our assigned timeframe. They also have a bathroom available if its needed. We had just two people and we escaped with over 3 minutes to spare. A fun night, if you have been wanting to try an escape room...
go for it!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They give you 3 clues if you need them in case you get stuck. They have rooms that you can bring kids into (kid friendly) so the whole family can enjoy the escape rooms. They also have rooms not recommended for kids (scary/complex). We did one of the rooms not recommended for kids, im guessing its because things pop out which definitely have a scare factor that kids may not enjoy. The price was around the same as all the other escape room companies in the low county. One thing I like about this place was they didnt make us pay for 3 people to make it a private room. Others in the area said they dont allow for public rooms so you are always charged for 3 people even if you only have 2. We didnt mind working with new people, we just wanted to experience the escape room and have a little fun on our anniversary. The only issue is parking. There isnt the best parking close by, we had to park about 6-8 blocks away. However, if you are enjoying downtown Charleston anyways, check them out! We will be back with a few more people to try the more complex rooms.

This was our first escape room ever, and it was an absolute delight. Ryan was *spectacular* and made our time so enjoyable, fun and supported. Id recommend this place to everyone! Thank you!

We had a blast! The staff were super friendly and helpful. They adjusted what kind of support to give us based upon our feedback and really helped make sure the experience was as much fun as possible. This is our fourth or fifth escape room and probably the best so far! We will definitely be coming back with more friends and family, very soon!

Weve gone multiple times over the years since 2017 and always have a blast! Id recommend to bring a group of friends to go with (the max is 8 I think) for more fun But Weve gone with just 3 people and 4 people at different times and had a blast

I d never done an escape room before and I really didn t know what to expect or even how to get started. I couldn t have been more pleased with my experience. My 10 and 14yo and I chose Davey Jones Locker. Perfect for that age range. We had so much fun trying to work through the clues together. 10 of 10. Highly recommend!!!

This was the second time that Ive been to Escape in 60 and it was just as fun as the first (if not more fun). We had a company event with 25 people split up in the different rooms and had such a fun (and competitive) time bonding together. Im also so grateful that Escape in 60 opened early that day just for us. We would not have been able to attend due to other afternoon obligations but thankfully Escape in 60 went above and beyond and opened early so that we could. I will definitely be returning again to complete the other rooms. Thanks Escape in 60!

The rooms are very well thought out and fun for all ages. This is a great place for a group. We have celebrated birthdays here and also, did team building with work. The staff is fun and professional.

So fun!! We did the After Dark room which was 80 s themed and we had a blast. This was one of their harder rooms and we finished in under an hour, using only 5 clues The staff was super nice and explained everything thoroughly! They also offer drinks alcoholic and non alcoholic!

Amazing escape room experience!!!! My husband and I completed 4 out of their 6 rooms during our stay in Charleston! We had a phenomenal time. Their rooms are very well themed and the puzzles are fun and challenging in all the right ways. Our favorites were Witches Attic and Ransom. The game masters will help out and not let you struggle. They want to make sure this is a fun experience for you. Our game masters Emily, Kayla, and Hannah were absolutely PHENOMENAL!!!!! They truly made our experience 5 stars! Highly recommend this escape room place!!!!

We had so much fun a few weeks ago that we came back for more today! Great way to stay inside on a hot day. The hosts have been awesome and were willing to give a few extra clues to my kids who were dying to escape! We ll be back for another room for sure!

This was our first escape room experience and we had a lot of fun! We did the Witches Attic. Our daughter was scared at first, and the two employees we encountered were so incredibly accommodating and reassuring. Definitely not something I d normally do, but after today I d definitely go again.

I was pretty disappointed in my experience. We had a new employee as our game guide and while she was incredibly nice, it was her first day and our room was not set up properly There were multiple instances where locks werent actually locked, items were in the wrong things, and most things were not reset in the room properly from the previous group. I went with my family for my sisters birthday and felt like the room would have actually been super fun as it had some cool puzzles and themes, but instead we left feeling like we wasted our money on a puzzle that was already done for us.

Staff were very kind and patient, me and my family tried the Davy Jones Locker room and the staff kept giving us hints through the timer TV and even added extra time to the timer when we got stumped on so many of the puzzles.

The Witches Attic was a blast. We had 7 people and we finished the room with 3 minutes to spare. The staff explained the rules well and are very helpful. I will definitely be back. Thank you! My only complaint is the website does not have parking garage locations for non locals to make it easier to plan the trip out.

The rooms we did were Roulette Me Out and After Hours. They were incredibly put together with unique clues and puzzles. Although, there were some instances of waiting around in rooms for clues to come through and puzzles/doors not opening/working, which kind of ate at our time. The workers there were absolutely fantastic and I sympathize with them, they were drastically overworked; two employees to run 6 escape rooms on the first day of a busy thanksgiving break. They deserve a raise, love them, and the management needs to prepare better so the employees can have a break. Overall, fun experience, thank you!

My kids (ages 8 and 10) had such a fun time doing the 80s escape. I informed them that the 80s were pretty awesome so I didn t care if we ever escaped it or not . Leslie was our guide and she was incredible as well, exciting, fun to work with, enthusiastic and super nice. I am very glad that we went!

My friend and I brought our sons to play the 80s game. It was super fun however 2 of the clues got stuck. The host who was amazing came in and Gave us more frogs, and when the tape didnt dispense like it was supposed to he came back in and explained that part of it( little disappointing) we didnt get to do that clue. He kept adding time to our game. Felt bad he wasnt expecting things to malfunction but they did . We paid good money to not have a game malfunction but it did. Although our gentleman host was most apologetic and very accommodating.
