Escape the Room Pittsburgh

Agency room was hard and takes work, time and hunting for clues. Jamison did great with the timing of clues. Most fun escape room so far.

Id give this place two or maybe three stars, but the reviews are completely skewed because they tell us to leave 5 star reviews with an employee name on it to get free tickets for next time. Bribing people is shady, so automatic one star. Id ignore any review with an employees name in it. We did The Dig. Some red herrings that were upsetting, but mostly just underwhelming. It looked like it would have a good story but we were just told to look for the idol and the four things with no reason. We were told to look at the cameras if we got stuck and heard nothing when we tried. We were told she was looking over two rooms so didnt hear us..there was really only one good aha puzzle, otherwise everything seemed so basic.

We did the Dig. Tori was cool. We did not do to well..lol... Our first time ever attempting something like this. We had no feel for it. But, we gained confidence for our upcoming attempt at the Apartment. There are multiple rooms that we were not aware of in the Dig. Lack of reading or research on our part. We really enjoyed ourselves as we got to spend time together with teenage grandsons. I definitely recommend it. Again the worker Tori was easy going, helpful and cool.

Looking for a fun afternoon activity with a friend, we came across Escape the Room Pittsburgh thanks to the close proximity to downtown and the ability to play with only two people. The non-private rooms was a slight con, but we ended up playing with just the two of us and it was a great experience. Im an avid escape room player while my friend has only played one or two. We chose The Dig. The set design was great and the puzzles were fun and engaging. Most puzzles were great. Some of the puzzles...
Read full review were a little tedious or required more hints than they should have - but that could just have been because of our small group. We still managed to escape with about 10 minutes left on the clock and we had a great time. The staff was super friendly and provided an excellent experience throughout the game. For a fun little afternoon, you cant go wrong with Escape the Room Pittsburgh.

We had a great time. I took my two kids 12 and 9. We didn t escape the apartment but got close thanks to some helpful but not giveaway clues. Jamiesun was a great host.

We really enjoyed our time in the Apartment. Considering it was only two us, our experience was than better expected. Luke provided clues at just the right time. Great job Luke and hope to see you again.

The dig was way more diffic than we thought it would be! We did have fun trying to get out though, and Jamiesun was great. One suggestion would be to rank the rooms on the website in terms of level of difficulty. We probably would have chosen a different room if we had known that in advance.

I brought my team for some fun team building and we had a great time! We didn t make it out, but it really got our brains thinking and the staff were so much fun (and helpful). They made me laugh multiple times with their clue giving. Would definitely recommend for something fun to do indoors! Thank you!

Escape the room was an amazing experience. It feels like you re in a movie and have to really use all of your intellect and knowledge to survive. Our host, Luke, was great and really fun. We ll definitely be back

Loved our experience doing the agency with cluemaster Jamiesun! We enjoyed this type of escape room more than ones that lead you directly to each hint it felt more like we were actual spies looking around a room rather than following a pre-planned trail of clues. We went in thinking we could do it with no hints but we were proved wrong really quickly. This really tested our ability to search the room!

Don t let looks deceive. This was a lot of fun and a good fun challenge for the 6 of us from ages 14-56. We did the dig- Marcus was our helper and gave us just enough clues to make it fun but not too easy!

We loved going to Escape the Room Pittsburgh today. We reserved the Apartment room. It was fun, challenging and Luke was great at giving clues at the right time. We didnt escape the Apartment but we will be back to try another room.

This was an awesome 1st time experience We do escape room games on our phones And we ve always wanted to do an escape room in real life. Much appreciation to our host Luke for his assistance with timely clues we will definitely be back to escape the other rooms

Such a fun activity to do with friends and family! Right in the middle of the south side too so you can grab food and drinks before or after! Jamiesun was very helpful and super kind to us all well!!

Done a number of escape rooms and really enjoyed this one. Nena was a great game master , explained the rules well for The Agency and very kind to our kiddo who was excited for their first escape room! Even the simple clues were deceiving and enjoyed!

The escape room was fun and exciting but yet challenging to complete. We truly enjoyed an amazing evening together. Nena was so helpful with the clues that she provided along the way.

Escape the room is so much fun! We did the agency as a date and it was so much more fun than we thought it would be! It is such an interesting and fun experience, we had Jamiesun as our host and he was so nice and helpful with the clues! We are definitely visiting again soon!

This place is so much fun! Jamiesun is an amazing clue master and was very helpful. The puzzles were absolutely reasonable difficulty. All of the facilities were clean, signs were clear annd readable and the environment was all around positive.

Was a ton of fun! We did the agency room and managed to finish. Shoutout to Tori who was the one in control of our game the hunts definitely helped!

I dont mean to be harsh. The staff was friendly, the facility was alright, but this escape room just wasnt up to par with others Ive been to. There were half as many puzzles in the room to solve than what you normally experience with escape rooms. There was also little to prompt how to solve or even find the next puzzle to proceed forward. They dont use walkie talkies to ask for clues. You have to walk back to your starting room every time for them to give you clues (and they give clues constantly without asking). In the end, we were one step away from solving, but I didnt feel like I accomplished anything. It was a boring and slightly frustrating experience.

What a great experience at Escape The Room Pittsburgh in The Apartment ! We escaped with about 26 seconds to spare. Watching and participating with three brainic grandkids and their parents made it fast, fun and full of creative problem solving. The staff was great including Nena, Lucas, and Marquis. We will have to go back!

This escape room was amazing! We did the dig! Love the cool spookiness of the design! Alec was awesome and so helpful! Would definitely go back!! :)

A fun challenge to do with friends. If you like to puzzle things out, and have others that want to also, grab them and do what appeals to you. They are nice enough to give you clues. Have fun!

I came for my birthday with my aunt and it was a great time. Jameson was our host and he was very enthusiastic and helpful. I m looking forward to coming back in the future to attempt some of the other rooms!!

came very close to making out of the dig room but not quite all the way there. it was very fun and exciting to go through and the helps from our clue master Luke were very needed and helpful. will for sure come again

This was our very first time at The Escape Room and we had a blast. Although we didn t escape the room Luke was an incredible host and we ll definitely be back!
