This is one of the best escape rooms in town. When you arrive for your appointment you will be pleasantly surprised and entertained. Employees stay in character the whole time. Challenging but we laughed the entire time. Check it out!

Went here while visiting from out of town; came with my kids ages 14, 12 and 9. All of us had a great time though I think 12+ kids were able to catch on quicker. This was our first escape room and it was quite challenging, entertaining and fun. We all love puzzle games so we enjoyed that aspect of it, though some of the puzzles were trickier than others. It s a very immersive experience and very well done. We were able to escape the room with only 1 minute left. Would definitely come again to try the other rooms they have.

This is quite a good escape room, especially for experienced players. There are several rooms in the game we played and I would expect every game is like that. They did a good job keeping in character from the moment you check in until you leave. The puzzles were good and interesting though we found a couple were easy enough to brute force. Very imaginative storyline as well for ours. I would go again and try all their rooms.

Weve done about 20 escape rooms and Id say the set design here is the best weve ever seen. They have so much space the experience is truly immersive. The puzzles are clever but straightforward making them friendly for all crowds. Weve definitely been stuck in rooms before where the puzzles just had too many layers for your average puzzler so this was perfect for a mixed crowd of experiences. I loved the Inventors Paradox so much were going back less than 2 weeks later to do their other room! They mentioned a 3rd opening soon and Im sure well be back as soon as it does.

Enter the Imaginarium was an awesome experience for an escape room. Our party completed The Search for Leviathan and we had a blast. The puzzles were well done and plentiful. The Room had a linear feel, however many different puzzles could be worked on at the same time, so everyone had something to work on. The theme and design of the rooms were top notch and very detailed. Out of all the escape rooms Ive completed, this was by far the most immersive and well done. I look forward to going back and trying the other 2 rooms in the near future.

Hands down best escape room! It feels like youre in a movie right from the beginning! The first track, The Chamber of Illusions, is stunning and really sets the bar for all others! Love the theme. The second track is simply put the most beautifully designed room let alone escape room Ive ever seen. Just gorgeous. Youll want to spend more than an hour there. Each track has multiple rooms but Im not going to spoil it and tell you how many! Thats the surprise! I recommend you bring as many friends as you can if you wish to make it out like our group did! Very challenging but Very rewarding! Go for it!

My wife and I decided to try this out having seen good reviews about this place, and we could not have been more impressed. The puzzles are well thought out and intricate, and the experience itself is the best part. We did the Inventors Paradox room and loved it. We are already planning when we can come back and do the other 2 rooms.

Weve done a bunch of escape rooms, but these are the most elaborate weve done. I especially recommend the leviathan room. I wont spoil any surprises but its impressive... During COVID, all rooms are private parties, which is nice as well and you can book easily on their website.

I have done several escape rooms here. I really like them. Its fun doing puzzles but you have to make sure to go with friends who are willing to play and think outloud. A team effort is needed!

The Imaginarium is nothing less than incredible. The moment you walk in you are transported to another world. The staff are in character and before you are even in the escape room itself you are solving puzzles. This escape room is very immersive and challenging in the best way. The puzzles are inventive and is more than a find a number painted on a wall and plug it into the combination lock. Some of the puzzles were finicky but in the end were great. With 7 people we finished the inventors paradox with 5 minutes to spare. Highly recommend.

This was a great time. Went with a large group and they split us up into 2 groups. The rooms were very challenging. Was seconds away from getting out but the timer expired. Will definitely go again and try one of the other rooms. UPDATE... Went back last night and tried another room. Beat that with 6 mins to spare. The family had a great time.

This was my first escape room experience, so nothing to compare it to, but I and my group had a blast, successfully completed with about 3 minutes to spare. Those in my group who have done escape rooms in the best said this ranked pretty high compared to others.

Very difficult escape room!! This location is actually challenging compared to other escape rooms that I have been to. 2 great perks included: - they tell you what percentage of the puzzle you complete. - they take a group picture that they post to Facebook for you to keep!

My first time trying an escape room. It was a great expirence. The location is in an old warehouse with lots of space. There were 5 rooms associated with the challenge we did. The puzzles were very well put together. I highly recomend this one.

By far the best escape room in Pittsburgh. The production quality is astounding. The puzzles are elaborate and highly well designed. Every room comes down to the wire. The staff do a fantastic job luring you into the event. Their secrets will go with me to the grave.

As escape room enthusiasts who have done a significant number of rooms in several states/countries, this is one of the best weve ever been to. The ambiance is fantastic with excellent visual and technical elements, and the puzzles are challenging, creative and unique. Thanks so much we had a great time!

The rooms here are the best escape rooms I have even been to! They are huge and immersive and really fun. The staff is fantastic as well. I accidentally booked a room my group had already completed before, and they let me reschedule to a later time in the right room for free! So nice, as everyone in my group was really looking forward to trying it out.

By far one of the best escape room experiences in Pittsburgh. My friend and I have done a lot of escape rooms and these ones are amazing. We are more experienced players so we like to do the rooms just the two of us. We have done all three escape rooms the Imaginarium offers and we have escaped all three. So they are 100% doable for anyone, but definitely not easy. The game masters keep character very well and it adds to the overall experience. They completely immerse you into the story and i enjoy...
how large the rooms are and the puzzles in each are very different and very interesting. They definitely put some thought into creating these escape rooms and giving their players the best experience. Am looking forward to seeing if they come up with any new ideas because we will definitely be back to do them!

This place was so great. I was looking for a team outing, and they were incredibly accommodating to our request for an earlier start time. Their staff was willing to come in earlier than usual to make our schedule work. The production of the Escape Room was top notch. Compared to others I had been to, every little detail was thought through and made it a really immersive experience. I would highly recommend for families and team building exercises. Being able to escape one room to find yourself immediately trapped in another room was so great.

Really great experience! The worker/actress in charge of guiding us on our missions was very good and kept in character the entire time. We completed Chamber of Illusions, and it was so good that we signed up for Search for Leviathan immediately after! These are truly immersive, and you are entered into the escape as soon as you walk through the door. There are locks and keys like other escape rooms, but I felt like the puzzles are more clever and require more creative thinking to solve than other escape rooms. The puzzles are challenging, and our group of 4 was able to complete them with some hints. Highly, highly recommend this escape room company!

I went here with a group of 7 and we had a fantastic time! I ve personally done over 30 escape rooms and this is one of the most unique and fun experiences I ve ever had at an escape room. Enter the Imaginarium was highly immersive and an experience right from the start. I would recommend this escape room to anyone, beginner and experienced players would both enjoy this escape room.

Absolutely awesome. We were visiting Pittsburgh. If I lived there I d be back for the other 2 escapes. This place is amazing and nothing like any other escape room. It is a full immersion experience and your guide stays in character. Ours must have been laughing hard at us. I would ve. We had the best time If you are within a 2 hour drive it is well worth it!!!!

Great expectations, met. Knowing of the affiliation with the spectacular Bricolage immersive theater group I was braced for full submergence in the Search for Leviathan, and submerged we were. Given the pandemic, our traditional Labor Day weekend family activities needed an update, and while it took me some time to get comfortable with the idea of an escape room, and attendant risks, Im glad we did it. Their attention to safety precautions was reassuring. Sets and puzzles were great! Im not sure...
I pieced together a coherent back story, but it seemed likely that there was one -- perhaps I missed a pre-game briefing, or in my enthusiasm to divide and conquer didnt read some set materials that wouldve helped. Looking forward to trying their other puzzles!

We did the chamber of illusions for my sons 12th bday. We had him, his 11 year old friend, his 8 year old sister, my husband and myself. The room was challenging but in a fun way! We were given just the right amount of hints the right ways that we still felt victorious when we got through with a little over a minute to spare! We cant wait to do the others! The person helping us was terrific!!

This is a must-do escape room company if you are anywhere near Pittsburgh! Full-immersion stories and sets. Fantastic design. Large spaces to accommodate bigger groups. We have played over 250 escape rooms and traveled to Pittsburgh just to play these games ... they did not disappoint!

By far the most fun and most immersive escape room I have seen. We absolutely loved the Chamber of Illusion. From the moment you step in the door you are in the game and we all loved that. I went with my family and my best friends family for a private event so we had a wide range of ages. We definitely needed the entire group of ten, everyone was constantly doing something to help with a puzzle. The puzzles are very challenging and they know exactly how to help you just enough when you get stuck...
. I think it was the perfect level of difficulty because we escaped with just enough time to spare. FYI the parking lot was a little confusing to get around because from where the sign to enter is, you have to go around to the other side of the fence to pull in and park by the front door.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I have been to several other escape rooms with my kids (ages between 12 and 18) and this was by far the worst!! Puzzles extremely challenging that it took the fun and excitement out of the whole experience. Only puzzles that we got right were ones game master gave us the answers too. Lighting was poor that I could not even see if I was putting the numbers in correctly on locks, writing so small and not legible for some puzzles. No adaptations made...
for younger players (yes, they knew the ages prior to game start). No direction, had to find rules in 15 seconds (I was still filling out waivers) and was unable to help. Atmosphere and character are good, just very disappointing with the play of the room. Wont be going back.

I have done roughly 25 escape rooms in various states along the East Coast and Enter The Imaginarium is easily the best location so far. My friends and I were visiting Pittsburgh and decided to visit this place and try their Chamber of Illusions room. From the outside we were skeptical about the building and location but we were excited to do this immersive escape room. We were definitely in for a surprise. Without spoiling the surprises for others, the experience starts upon entering the building...
. Greeted by the game master, we were immediately impressed with their character. They do not break, at all, not once. This helped us get into game mode before entering the escape room. The entry is unique and creative, the production value of both rooms (we ended up coming back the next day to do the second one) was TOP NOTCH, and the puzzles were incredibly unique. After doing a large number of escape rooms you get a feel for the types of puzzles that are in there and can get an edge on solving them, oh no not with this place. Their puzzles were super creative and things I had never seen before. The first room we set the record time for (super happy about) the second room was a bit harder but we escaped and set the record time for the week. I eagerly await their next room so we can drive up to Pittsburgh and do it! Amazing balance of difficulty and immersive theme. If you are ever in the Pittsburgh area and looking for a fresh take on escape rooms: This. Is. The. Place!
