Without a doubt one of the BEST escape room & a guarantee FUN experience. The only nudge Id give for improvement is in the details specifically, a cleaner and more on-theme bathroom would make the whole experience flawless & the game master can speak just a bit less speedy.

My family had a very fun time doing our escape room together. We had two adults and three kids - 13, 11, 7. I felt like things were really well put together. There were tasks appropriate for each age and so everyone got to feel successful. We were able to successfully beat the game at the literal last second! There was definitely some retro technology that the adults had to help with / explain, but the novelty was appreciated. There were definitely some aspects that were unique and interesting compared to other escape rooms that weve done. I would say that escape rooms in general seem a bit overpriced, but this was a fun memory for all of us.

I did Lombino s Casino with my family (2 adults, 2 teenagers) and we all enjoyed it a lot. Escaping with 3 minutes to spare. The puzzles are logical and theres a hint system if needed. Everything is wrapped in a fun story.

Ive done most of the escape rooms in the Vancouver/Portland area. The rooms here are really good. There is a lot of attention to detail and clearly a tinkering mind with a flair for reviving old things and giving them new life. There was actually a glitch in our room that interrupted our game, but our host(s) handled it extremely professionally and kindly.

What a wonderful experience! The hosts were awesome, fun and personable, the puzzles were challenging and the story propelling us forward was a delight.

This is a full-on escape experience! The lobby is hilarious and full of nostalgia. The staff is funny and friendly. The escape rooms, quite simply, are epic. Having done 300+, both rooms are among the best weve seen. The overall game design was superb. The puzzles were unique, challenging, topical, and often humorous. Many of these weve never seen anywhere else. There were custom elements throughout that provided a steady stream of sportive surprises. And I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! I came here with a group of 4 and we had an amazing time. It was my first escape room in Portland and it exceeded all expectations. The game was well thought out and it s hints and props were great. The host was engagingly, helpful, and fun. Having barely escaped Lombino s casino- I can t wait until the next themed room opens!

From entering the location, to getting your spiel and (most importantly) the room itself, it s all a joy. The Lombino Casino was singular. So many puzzles to sort through and not an inch of wasted space. The puzzles flow and there s just enough within the room to get immersed and make those all important AHA!! clicks feel well earned. DO. NOT. SLEEP. ON. THIS. GEM!

Had a wonderful time at In Search of an Exit for our work teambuilder! The game masters were very fun and entertaining while the rooms were challenging and intricate. It is a little confusing to find, but trust your instincts! You are probably in the right place, dont be afraid to go inside. Big thanks to both gentlemen for being wonderful hosts!

This by far was one of the best escape room experiences our group has had. The game host (pictured) was super personable, professional and was great with my baby (which is a huge plus). The escape room we did was very fun and had many puzzles that really challenged you to think. Our group definitely plans to return and do the other room soon! You won t regret coming to this escape room.

Just got out of Lombinos casino. Me and my friend barely barely made it out! It was super fun! And I loved the aesthetic and trapped in time aspect. The host was really good and very funny; wouldnt be surprised if he did standup on the side. The room was pretty challenging for me, but the clue system was perfect and it worked because we always knew what it meant so we put together loose ends. The immersion is really what I liked the most. It was like being in a video game and they stuck to the theme and I appreciated it. 10/10 definitely returning.

Booked this game having never played an escape room before. From the moment we entered to the moment we walked back outside the building, the experience was immersive and incredibly special. This was a fantastic escape room experience. The host was extremely charismatic and set the stage marvelously! And the room itself was clever, challenging in the right ways, and felt rewarding at each step. The 80s setting was awesome (we did Lombinos Casino) and the hint system was the most unique Ive experience in an escape room. Id highly recommend this location to anyone!

All the gushing google reviews are true! First - the customer service when booking the experience for my team - over the top responsive, friendly, and accommodating. Second - the experience does indeed begin when you enter the building! Third - the interactive nature of the room had us never feeling like we had to ask for help. Fourth - here is a group of people who truly love what they do. So much staff enthusiasm! Stem to stern amazing! Highly Highly recommend!!!

This was my first experience outside of 2 prior online team-building ones. Everything from the front desk to the host and the puzzles were done with great details and fun. Strongly recommend this

Hands down the best escape room we have ever done. Our group of 8 have all done escape rooms before and unanimously agree this is our favorite. The puzzles were challenging and creative, the whole aesthetic of the space is fantastic, and the host made the entire experience fun and surprising. Cant wait to come back and try the other room, or to do the same one with different people - theres no way well remember all the puzzles anyway!

Had a blast! Super fun room (Lombino s), hilariously surprised by an ongoing theme not connected to the actual escaping part of the room (won t say specifics so future escapee s will be surprised too)! Maybe it says something about my confidence in niche stores that I walked directly past the entrance at least twice

The hosts were super funny and truly made the experience for us. We did the Lombino escape room and also enjoyed that very much and were able to just sneak out the escape with just 2 people in the room. Would definitely return and recommend this location, it was probably the most fun I ve had at any escape room I ve been to!

Had an amazing time. We did the Soviet puzzle (the one downstairs), and the puzzles were so satisfying to solve. From beginning to end we were entertained, and I personally felt like a kid in a candy store with all the references and solutions to the puzzles. Would absolutely come back here again.

Brilliant experience, best escape rooms I have done. Did Lombinos and was so impressed I got a different group of friends to come do Operation with me. Both were fantastic. Patrick was responsive and great to work with when I wanted to make some time adjustments over email. Kelly knocked it out of the park as the host for both rooms each day.

In Search of An Exit is the most memorable escape room experience you will find in Portland; simple as that. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, it is a unique, immersive, creative, and hilarious blast. Everyone that works there brings so much energy and passion to what they do. It is absolutely incredible. Both of their rooms are one-of-a-kind masterpieces. We literally replay their rooms so that we can show all of our friends what an escape room experience should be. I cannot give enough praise.

This was my first Escape Room ever and we did Operation Gryaznayvoda. The creativity and atmosphere is all there right from the first step through the front door. The host was very engaging and entertaining. The hint system came in handy without making you feel dumb or outright telling you what to do. All the puzzles were different and required problem-solving without completely stumping my group. We were able to complete the room with a group of 5 with a few minutes to spare. Well be back to give Lombino s Casino a shot sometime!

Friends and I have had our eye on this escape room for a while and finally got to go recently. It was everything we had hoped! Incredibly immersive even before entering the rooms themselves! A super fun, quirky, 80s theme throughout and the host, Patrick, was funny and easygoing. We tried Lombinos Casino with 4 people, 1 of whom hadnt done an escape room before, and felt sufficiently challenged (managed to complete the room with less than 5 min to spare) and had a blast. Will definitely come back sometime to try the other room!

Simply, excellent. Ive done ~25 escape rooms. This one is memorable. Without spoiling, the experience here has a layer unlike almost any other escape room Ive been to. A thrilling host and solid puzzles too. Plus, no red herrings or information you use multiple times. Plan for a walk after finding parking though.

My boyfriend and I have done both of the escape rooms offered here and they were SO fun and challenging! The staff is super funny and cool, the puzzles are so unique and interesting. My only complaint is that there arent more escape rooms, lol! I really recommend the Russian-Mafia-Themed one, we did it with a group of eight and BARELY finished it in time, but it was a total blast and super immersive. Heard theyre in talks of getting a third room ready and we cant wait!

To date this was the best escape room I have done. The people who run and create the experience really love escape rooms and it shows with every detail. Highly recommend.
