Escapism: The Ritual Room Escape Room Portland

We had a team building day and included this as a part of our celebration. The escape room was excellent, it wasnt easy but it was doable. The host was very friendly, great at giving us pregame rules, and helped make the event a success. We had a total of seven people and it was perfect. No clue from us, other than plan on a great time. Hopefully these pictures show us having fun and no hints to any solutions.

We had a great time at the Ritual Room on Saturday. My husband, two of my kids and a significant other, and myself made it out with a little over 11 minutes to spare. James was an excellent game master just enough help but not too much. Dont forget you can use clues. Cant wait for our next room in another week or so. also comparatively priced to other escape rooms in the area, maybe even a little less.

Oh boy! This was a very fun room. If you are a fan of escape rooms that make you think, you will love Ritual Room. Im definitely doing the others! Fair warning....the room itself is hidden next to dun dun dun!!! Other businesses!!!! And a cute dog next door. Didnt get to pet it though. Our robotics team 187 Phoenix loved this as our end of the year celebration. Oh and James himself? Awesome dude - glad we got him, and funny!

We had a really fun time here! Well designed puzzle that kept us hunting down clues. Well worth the time.

The Ritual Room was our first escape experience as a family and was not a disappointment! Perfect way to celebrate a birthday as a family. The Room was challenging and fun. We shared a lot of laughs! Our thanks to Madyllyn for the wonderful welcome and hints We will definitely be back for some family fun!

So much fun! We escaped with less than a minute to spare:) The puzzles were just hard enough but not so hard to get frustrated. Madyllyn (sorry about spelling lol) was a wonderful host! They gave subtle clues without giving to much away. We had a great time and will definitely recommend this room to others :). Thank you!

It was my family s first escape room. The location was close enough but very mysterious in a business complex. Don t let that deter you. The Ritual room was innovative and fun. We all had a great time including my 12 & 14 year olds. Madeline was a great guide, we did need a few hints. I would recommend to families or anyone starting out on their first escape room.

This place was easy to access, lots of parking, and hidden in an old office building off Barbur. The room itself is a bit run down. You can tell that its been visited a lot. All the props and furniture have seen better days. Would be nice if it looked less worn down for the price of tickets. However, the clues are great, solid medium difficulty, and theme was fun. The host was kind and friendly. We had a good time.

Great puzzles. Fun and exciting room. Our host was kind and helpful. Has a great time. Check it out. Great for first timers or families with kids.

I got to celebrate my birthday with my friends at this location. Our team had a great time solving all the clues and escaping the room. Our MC was Madyllyn who was very nice and gave us some great clues when we got stuck. We had to add one person and Madyllyn was very graceful about it. Someone mentioned in their review that the room looks rundown - personally, I think it adds to the experience. We highly recommend this escape room!

The escape room itself was fun and challenging, with a great ambiance. We couldn t have asked for a better hostess than Madyllyn, they were very kind and accommodating. Thank you Escapism and thank you, Madyllyn!

Our group had a great time exploring and escaping the mysterious Ritual Room. James was a great MC. He helped a couple of times without giving away the clues/answers. Creatively set up! We look forward to trying out the other locations.

First things first, they did a great job with the layout of the room including the props in it. They brought it to life and made it felt like you were in a room where cult members would gather and meet up to discuss secret information. A place with secret initiations, rituals, secrecy, and worship. The host James was extraordinary! He was friendly, hilarious, and genuine. He makes you feel like home. Anyone else wouldn t cut it. At the final moment when we found the last clue and got the door open, James was standing there with his hooded robe cloak on. For a second, we thought he was going to be the main cult leader that we would have to eliminate to survive but he let us pass. We all made it out alive and in one piece.

We had a great time working our way through the ritual room put together by the team at Escapism! This was our first experience with an escape room and everyone left saying they could wait to do another room, particularly our teenage boys. That said, we all highly recommend The Ritual Room with Escapism. Special shout out to James, who was a terrific host. Do yourself a favor and try this spot out!

My group and I had James last Saturday and it was SO much fun. One of our teammates didnt have any escape room experience and he had a blast. James is a great host, the immersion was wonderful and we loved getting through the room. Definitely recommend.

Had an excellent time! Loved the theme and decor of the room. Our host was courteous and professional. The clues were absolutely fun to find. Great for using problem solving skills. Will definitely share this gem with our friends and family.

The Ritual room was amazing! My kids (10yo & 13yo), wife and I love escape rooms and have done a fair number around portland. We really enjoyed the room we did, which Id say is 3.5/5 in difficulty. The puzzles were tricky and fun but not too hard or obscure. They used the space and theme very well. Our host (I think their name was Felix) was helpful, friendly and open to conversation but I never felt any pressure to interact if I didnt want to. Overall, I would definitely recommend this room and we have already decided to try other rooms by Escapism.

The host, James, was super accommodating, friendly and informative. He let us know what to expect, and guided us along the way. The room itself was fun the puzzles were great, and my friends and I made it out alive with close to 5 mins to spare. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend this to any group looking for a fun weekend plan!

James was a great host! We had fun from beginning to end. This is an easier room, so we finished it with lots of time to spare. While i wish it was a little trickier, the theme of the room was incredibly fun and we all had a great time. Thanks, James. Well be back.

Our group of 5 had the best time at this escape room! It was our first time doing escape rooms, and our host was fantastic. The puzzles were not easy, and we ended up not solving the room within the hour. Our host let us complete the room anyway as we were so close. We will certainly be trying other Escapism rooms!

Amazing escape room! James, the host, is great and very helpful. The room looked great and the riddles and puzzles were very creative. It was hard enough but still very fun and doable. No critiques!

In Feb 22 I took my 13yo and his 4 closest friends for his birthday party. Our host was James. He was totally in character and great at introducing the game with clear rules for the boys. We had a great time solving the puzzle, with just the right amount of red herring, but not too much to pull us off course. We got stuck a couple of times and James gave us super cues to continue. We were elated that we were able to solve it with 31 seconds to spare! This is the second time weve had a party with this company and they are excellent. Its very immersive, and the set is very convincing. Its easy to sink into the story and forget youre in a regular office building.

Great experience! I got tickets for the Ritual Room as a christmas present and my household had a great time! We finished it with around 2 minutes to spare. Our host James was very helpful and made the entire experience an absolute joy and gave some pretty clever hints. First cult Ive joined and it was awesome! Recommend above and beyond. Will definitely be checking out some of their other rooms.

This is the first room from Escapism I ve tried and I was impressed. I very much enjoyed the atmosphere and prop quality. There are some cool and unique physical puzzles in this room that I have yet to see anywhere else. The room itself has good pacing and there s a very low amount of tedium. Our host, Felix, was awesome. This is a great room for beginners or enthusiasts, and one I will definitely recommend to others in the future!

We wanted something fun to do with cousins in town over the thanksgiving break and did the Ritual Room with a group aged 9 to 73. It was such a blast! Everyone contributed and participated, the puzzle was fun and challenging, and our host James provided just the right amount of info for success. Everyone can t wait until we get to do it again!

James was a great host! We solved this room with two minutes to spare, but we needed a few hints to make it out. The hints were helpful, but didnt give too much away. Awesome experience. We cant wait to try the other games.
