We promised our ten year old son an escape room experience for his birthday and this place was what he chose for the alien room. The price was far above other rooms in the area, but we were hopeful that would equate to a better experience so we paid it (spoiler: we dont think it was worth it). The young guy running the show showed up just a few minutes before our scheduled time with a subway bag in hand and a marijuana leaf t shirt on, so professional out the gate. The building looks like a dilapidated...
, vacant house and if not for the sign out front, thats exactly what I wouldve assumed it was. I thought maybe this was intentional at first, now I realize its just not caring about presentation. The guy directed us to sit in the lobby while he reset the room. Then he rushed through a memorized intro and directions so fast that none of us caught a word he said. This was our first ever escape room, so we were completely clueless. The brief video that played after he closed the door didnt do much for the vibe or the point of what we were supposed to be doing either. The room, like the rest of the house was old and shabby, all the props clearly DIY hack jobs without much effort put into them (this was surprisingly the least weighty of the negatives). We ended up completing the room without any hints and with six minutes to spare, which doesnt say much for the difficulty level considering it was our first ever escape room attempt and received essentially zero instruction. We were so proud of ourselves for pulling it off, but when we left, the guy essentially said, Alright, well, enjoy the rest of your day without looking up. No atta-boys, or congratulations, or fanfare of any sort, which definitely ruined the small amount of fun we felt about the experience. Easily, the unfriendly, cold, and unengaging nature of the single staff member on duty was what ruined this for us the most. Overall, this was a good introduction to the escape room process for a complete beginner, but be prepared to lower your expectations substantially. Any effort whatsoever would go far in improving this place. Were doing another one for my birthday next week, but will be going with a different venue that cares more about customer experience.

We were in an escaping mood so we tried The Escape Tulsa which is located inside a haunted house. Parking was very limited but I think it worked for our group of 7. We tried their Alien room which had a 37% success rate and we completed it in less than 40 minutes with 20 minutes to spare. It was an okay room. Staff was nice and restrooms were clean. Other than that, the room didnt have as much difficulty or variety in it. You exit through the same door that you entered from and thats not fun for me because it leaves no room for excitement. It was an okay experience and I do not plan to go back because if that room had a 37% success rate and it was the scarier and more professional escape room, I do not want to experience another.

First escape room for most of our group and we had a great time! We picked the easiest one just to make sure we could actually do it. The staff were super friendly and helpful and we will definitely be going back to play the other games soon!

We were kind of skittish driving up to this place, it looks like a super old house they converted to an escape room type business. Turns out its a super old house they converted into an escape room type business. In fact, the house is older than the statehood of Oklahoma itself - interesting! Theyve updated the interior with modern things like electricity, air conditioning, and escape rooms. This was my familys very first escape room experience and we were not disappointed. We tried Area...
405 with a group ranging from 8 years old up to 40 plus. The man on staff was very helpful in guiding us through what to expect, a brief history of the building, the rules and regulations of the house and had answers for every question. I dont want to spoil anything for you about the experience itself but it was absolutely worth every penny we paid. We all had a fantastic time and hope to go again soon to try the Lost Antidote!

Fantastic time and an amazing price. Definitely going back with another group. We really had to work together to solve all of the puzzles.

This place is awesome! We had a group of 5 people with age ranges from 11-30 and every single one of us had a great time! The room was very well thought out and even had a little surprise which we all loved!! The clues were a perfect level of difficulty. We were all able to figure out a few on our own, but we also had to come together as a team to figure out some of the harder ones. We did escape which made it that much better! We will 100% come back and try another room one day!

We arrived early and had minimal trouble parking using the online instructions. The staff were friendly and helpful, giving us instructions beforehand. The puzzles were challenging but solvable, everything worked like it was supposed to, and we made it out. It was definitely fun for the whole family! We re already planning our next visit.

I did the Area 405 room with my mom and boyfriend, and it was so much fun! We only needed 2 hints, but we still escaped before time ran out. The room was awesome and just the right amount of challenging and rewarding.

Waitress was great and the food was outstanding. I had the Spicy Turkey and it was the bomb! The others expressed similar things about their food too. The only problem we had was not having enough time to eat it there. We will be back! I got my reviews messed up this was for Society. But we had a great time at the escape room.

This was a lot more fun then I thought it would be. We did Area 405, and we thought having 4 people was the perfect amount. Clever problem solving and room set-up made it a great experience. We were afraid we d solve the room fairly quickly, but we used up most of our time before solving the room. The price was a little steep, but it was a fun memorable experience.

My family had a blast trying to capture the clockwork killer! The staff were very kind and explained the rules, and our experience was great. The clues seemed well thought out and the surprises were really cool. We had younger kiddos in our group, and they enjoyed themselves too. Cool place!

We had two groups! WE did Area 405 & The Lost Antidote. Tulsa escape was very professional and easy going all at the same time. They made it easy on both our groups to go at the same time in different rooms so we didnt have to wait after for the other group. Both rooms were what you would expect when trying to escape. We Definitely liked the fun factor in each room. Very creative and complex at the same time.

This was our first escape room! We had a group of 3, one of which was our 9 year old. Area 405 was awesome and def takes some working together.. Staff was super friendly, and we really appreciate them helping us make a special memory for our sons day out. He said it was one of the top 5 favorite things about this year and it s 12/30 today so I thing he really enjoyed the heck out of it. We re already ready to go back!

I believe one reviewer mentioned this, being kinda skittish driving up to this place... I can totally understand why. It is an extremely old house, and you wonder if you have come to the right place. But once inside, you realize youre in for some fun. Sadly, were not able to do Area 405 as planned, but they did allow us to choose another room. And we had a blast! They did an amazing job of making the rooms very challenging and very interactive. Everyone within our group had the chance to decode or unravel a clue of some type, and with some time still left (amazingly), we were able to escape! It was so much fun! I highly recommend this place!

First escape room experience and it was great! Didn t figure it out without a hint but had so much fun trying to piece it all together. The assistant manager Nick was knowledgeable and helped make our first one a huge success

We booked their Area 405 room with a group of seven - three of us are escape room enthusiasts, four were first time players. When we arrived the young man at the counter barely looked up from his phone to greet us. He rushed through the intro and didnt seem to even care that we were there. The room was such a let down for those of us who have played dozens of other rooms. But we made the most of it and escaped with 20 minutes to spare. Maybe the other rooms are good and maybe the other staff members are more welcoming and energetic. Ill never know because we definitely wont be back. Would not recommend.

We had so much fun doing this! Every single person in my group had a great time and we have done nothing but talk about it! I would recommend it! The staff was awesome and accommodated our group of 7 easily. The room was exciting with many puzzles to solve. We really got into it and enjoyed it so much! We are going back and doing a different one next time.

We had a really good time with this Escape Room. I have been to several, and this was well thought out and had interesting clues and puzzles. However, I think I know why the solve rate might be so low on this one. It took many tries with the correct code on a particular lock. Many tried, including a person that works there. I wont leave specifics as I dont want to ruin the puzzle for others. There is one particular lock that needs to be replaced.

I agree with the other reviews talking about the employee who had no energy and made the experience kinda lame. This guy looked like he didn t wanna be there at all. One of the flash lights we found was defected which made the puzzle harder to complete. They also don t give you proper hints on what to do next, they kinda do it for you or tell you exactly what to do. It is what you make of it though, my friends and I still had fun.

If you re looking for a fun activity with friends, this is great! Not only was the room challenging The Antidote , but there were various components that really got us to be involved in it. We escaped and had a blast! The staff is super kind and very flexible. We asked to adjust the date twice (due to schedule conflicts in our party) and they accommodated us and were extremely patient. Overall, great experience and fun time!

Great team bonding activity for our volleyball players when we were in Tulsa for the USA Championship. We had 2 groups in 2 different rooms and were allowed to go at the same time frame, which made schedule much easier for us. The girls had a ton of fun and both groups were successful in escaping!!

We tried their Conquered Embassy room which had a 25% success rate and we completed it in less than 30 minutes. We have done several escape rooms within Tulsa and this was the most expensive room we ve done, and most disappointing. The story line was fun and the clues were good but they were very easy to find and figure out. It didn t seem like they put much effort into their clues and room.. the room and props were very basic and plain.. the clues were very easy to figure out. I am really confused as to how it is their hardest room with only a 25% success rate. The room room didnt have as much difficulty or variety in it. I wouldn t recommend.. there are many other escape rooms in Tulsa that are better experiences and cheaper!

We did the lost antidote room with a family group consisting of members who have done 5 rooms to some who have completed over sixty. The room was OK. Not a lot of surprises, but a couple of unique puzzles. The members of our team who had completed less rooms definitely enjoyed it more than the more experienced players on the team. There was one puzzle specifically that, in my opinion, needs to be re worked. The staff was good, we didnt ask for a hint so I cant speak to how responsive or attentive...
they are. When we go out of the room they had to ask us how much time we had left, which I found odd. They were also holding a staff meeting in the lobby when we arrived to start our game (at our specified time) which I found kind of odd. Overall, not a bad experience. We may give one of their other rooms a shot, as this room did have potential to be great. I just dont think it quite got there.

We visited The Escape Tulsa and experienced The Lost Antidote room. The room had too many lock combinations/random pieces of paper which felt sort of lazy in terms of challenges/clues. Additionally, there is one step where you have to smell 9 jars and select the jars that smell the same. All the scents smelled alike. Maybe they smelled different when they first put the room together, but now they all smell like rubbing alcohol. The whole room just felt thrown together and not entirely coherent. When we made it out of the room, it was very underwhelming and we just kinda walked out. It was a very strange experience and not what we expected for an almost 5 star google rated escape room.

My coworkers and I had an amazing time! The staff was so nice and helpful. I love escape rooms, and this is without a doubt the best in Tulsa!

We got the easiest room since they said only 50% of people get out of it and we had 2 rookies in our group and the other 3 had only done a couple. The room was only one room instead of maybe needing to go to an adjoining room. A lot of the clues were too obvious. So our group of green escape roomers got out in 25 minutes! This makes you wonder if the money was worth it. If I go back, Ill ask for the hardest room which they claim is only done by around 30%. I appreciate their effort trying to put something like this together but I wonder if their percentages of escapes are based on fifth graders doing it. Fun time though.
