The Escape Game Columbus

went here 4/30/2024 for my daughters 18th birthday. first time visiting & it was fun. we did the Gold Rush & even though the difficulty level was 7 out of 10; it was challenging indeed. didnt know math was involved . C.C & a young lady (sorry i forgot your name) were very helpful with all of the clues we could handle! reasonably priced & we did the 11:15 p.m. one. if youve never done an Escape Room before.....give the location in Columbus a try!!! we will be back!!

We had so much fun! Matt was our guide and he was so great. He knew exactly when to give us a clue (not too much and not too little) without us asking. We did special ops: mystery market. So much fun and different. The best part was that we thought we escaped 30 min in and were somewhat disappointed but we had a whole other room to escape from! Very cool. I did escape rooms when I lived in NYC and this one was even better

This was an awesome time! Not for young kids by any means. My 8 year old son was bored to death! Lol but all the adults were having a great time. My son and I joined a party of 6, we did not know each other, but teamwork definitely had us working as a group and enjoying ourselves! I definitely recommend this place for a date night or birthday party. We did not end up escaping, but did make it to the final room! I do have to say the price is pretty steep, it was $85 for 2 people.... thats not very affordable. But overall it was a great experience!

We went here as a brand new team for a brand new medical center that we all work at. This was a bonding Christmas gathering for us and we had the 8/10 difficulty heist room. IT WAS HARD! But so fun. 60 minutes blow past and our game master was so amazing, friendly and helpful. Would totally recommend this for any event or any occasion! It gets hot quick especially with the group we had but so worth the money spent

We had lots of fun! Christine is great! She was awesome and patient with [6 y/o] Olivers many questions and enthusiasm. We did The Depths [7/10 difficulty] with our family [Mom, Dad, Oliver] and 4 of another family -- and ESCAPED!! Oliver was a little scared at first but as the excitement of the game got going he was fine. He could not figure out many of the clues -- but could count things, find things around the room, carry things to their place, push the help button, and ran to put the final piece...
Read full review in with 47 seconds left. We liked it so much we got a gift card [20% off if bought that day] to come back 2 days later. We did Gold Rush [7/10 difficulty]. It was the 3 of us plus 3 of another family. This one was also pretty cool. We were able to ESCAPE with 1:33 left on the clock. Oliver was the official flashlight holder, found clues, brought things to their places, counted things, and ultimately was able to do the last final piece. We would recommend this place for families with school aged +. Kids would be able to be more involved the older they are. Doing it with mutiple families is easier and more fun. Everyone has different ideas! If it was just the 3 of us, we are not sure we would have made it out but it is great fun anyway! This place was a lot of fun. It wasnt cheaply setup and was very interactive. The puzzles were challenging in a good way. I have been to other escape rooms that just seemed half heartedly thrown together but this one paid attention to detail and had numerous rooms you worked your way through. While visiting this one I found out that there was one a lot closer to where I live and definitely plan on visiting. It was family friendly fun. The staff was very pleasant and enjoyable. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I cant wait to see what the other rooms have to offer.

The staff at this location was amazing. First, we met Allie, the manager. She was SO friendly. Chorcee was our Game Manager. He asked, before we started, what we wanted our game to be like - and he stuck to the plan. He was also really friendly. Ann, who was the first contact and ran register chatted with us about he favorite game and was helpful with the merch we bought. Oh. And the room was really great, too! We did The Depths and we escaped!

We really enjoyed Prison Break!! Our game master Ilya was fantastic and gave up just enough direction without telling us too much. It was a lot of work, but each puzzle win brought us in the right direction. The puzzles are fun and the starting in two separate rooms was a lot of fun!

Went to 2 different rooms in the past few weeks. They were pretty awesome! Me and my groups had a blast and will definitely go through the other rooms when we can. Special shout out to our Game guide Ashley!!! Youre awesome!

Our group had an amazing time today in the Playground! Niko was kind, very helpful and engaging. Well definitely be back!

Matt was very educational with the tour and had no problems helping me and my team successfully escape the Heist. 10/10 room guide and 10/10 experience. Will definitely be revisiting.

This was my first time at this escape room and I absolutely loved it! We did The Depths and the set was amazing! It was a really fun game. I would definitely recommend this place! I loved our game guide Ashley, she was super sweet and helpful.

Awesome fun time, staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and the nicest people youll ever meet. We had a tour of all the escape rooms, super cool! We did the Depths, it was fantastic. The most fun iv had in along time. Shout out to our guide your a very cool human being. Will definitely be back.

Edit to update: We gave it another try after talking with the manager and had a WAY better experience the second time around. Our game master Seth listened to our request for minimal clues unless we actually asked for them through the button. We also did it privately with the 4 of us and it made for an incredible time!!! Read full review, unless you have enough in your own group to fill the room . For our adventure they felt 8 was appropriate but it was crowded and had too many people for things to do/solve in our opinion (our group size we came with was 4). We likely won t come back unless they start allowing for private groups especially for the price we paid per person

Went with a bunch of friends and played Playground. It was a ton of fun, very well put together and creative, and highly recommended. Played with 6 people and we escaped with 10:25 left on the clock. Bring some friends and plan for a good time at The Escape Game! Edit: There is not a bathroom at this facility so make sure to get your potty breaks in prior to your scheduled time!

Athena and Chorsie were are GES and Game guide They were so friendly and made the experience that much better. We did the special ops room. We needed 3 clues and we had 4 of u with 4:13 left on the clock. Definitely very high tech and intense. The room was incredibly laid out. We had a blast we will be back.

We came in last minute and late and were still very accommodating for us. We did the Prison Break room with just two of us. Very difficult room but made it out with minutes spare with some help from the game master. Had a great time and would recommend it to anyone else looking to have some problem solving fun in the area.

We had a great time! We did the Special Ops room which was super unique. The staff was awesome and very kind which is definitely a huge plus as well. 5/5 would definitely visit again to try out some of the other rooms!

Faith was amazing! We had a great time in this location with the escape game and it was wonderful to finish out the escape series as we completed all the others in New York in February. We love the escape game and would love to do more if they made more games we would definitely play them.

Super fun! We had a great time here today, and we came for my birthday! They also gave me a birthday card, super sweet! Loved the room and the details that were in there. The wire cutting was super smart too! Thanks for the experience!

We celebrated a birthday here with a group of 7 and we all had a great time with Gold Rush. We finished with a little over 6 min to spare and 3 hints. There were enough puzzles that everyone worked on different things. The props and room decor were so fun. They even gave my partner a birthday card. CC is an awesome and game host. Such a fun experience!

This was a super fun way to spend some time with the family and work together. We had a blast!

First time experiencing this escape room, managed to make it out of The Heist with forty-three seconds remaining! Josh was very helpful, and we had a lot of fun!

We had so much fun in then Depths. This is a unique room, which engaging puzzles. Very technology focused with a fun theme. Ben was an incredible game master! Also, Ben gave me a lovely momento and congratulations for graduating. It was decorated and signed by the staff. This made my day stand out and I will cherish his kindness

This is our third escape room that planned to do as a group activity. And this place probably wins the award of being the best one. We had unlimited clues, throughout the came. We also chose the difficulty level of 8/10 which we were expecting to struggle with but the way everything was laid out was perfect. The puzzles and clues were thought through well and we enjoyed our time there as a group. Definitely try this place out if you have a group of friends wanting to do something fun.

My husband and I went for our anniversary and had such a great time. We managed to escape from the depths. We loved how you had more than one room that you loved through. Matt who greeted us at the front was so nice and welcoming. Our game host Ashley was great! They made this a great anniversary date night and made us feel so special at the end of the game. We will definitely be back!

I did the Heist recently and Matt our game master was awesome!! Gave us some great hints and was a overall great individual!!

Our group came for one game and had so much fun we did three! The staff is very friendly here. Our game masters were Ben and Ashley, and both were really helpful. The whole experience was awesome!

This was awesome! We came in for my bachelorette party and had a wonderful time in the Gold Rush escape room. Gaby was super fun and made us feel really welcomed. We had such a fun time! Hoping to come back the next time were in Columbus

Had a bunch of great experiences here, done half the rooms and going to finish the rest soon! Room guides always super friendly and quick with hints of requested, our latest (mason) showed off some of the other rooms after we finished as well. Excited to go back!
