Escape It Grandview Columbus

We had such a fun time. My daughter (11 years old) received a gift certificate for her birthday. She, two of her friends, and I had a great time playing Christmas at Grandmas. The clues were challenging but not impossible. We had never played an escape room before but once we got the hang of how the game works we had so much fun. Our host was great. She was hands off, per our request, but knew when to help our group to make sure we all had a great time. We would definitely do this again.

The best escape room in Cbus by far. Ive done all the rooms here, to-date, and have been to about 3 others in town and they dont even compare (Breakout Games, Lockology, The Escape Game). weve escaped everytime, at the hardest levels. The props and rooms are the best quality. Each one is a multi-room experience. The clues are clear and relevant to the storyline. In my experience, I think theyre a bit more challenging than the other companies, and maybe more suited for adults/teens. My only complaint is that they dont have any more rooms yet!

Such a great theme and room for the holidays! Weve done tons of escape rooms, and this one stands out. Check them out!

This was the third escape room my husband and I have done. We went with another couple, and the 4 of us solved the Speakeasy room with a handful of hints and about 5 minutes to spare. The room was large with lots of high-quality authentic decor and props fitting within the theme/time period. There was a variety of engaging and relevant puzzles. The major negative of the night was the experience when we arrived. There is no welcome desk area. The person who greeted us and monitored our room seemed a bit flustered, and the interaction was awkward. Otherwise, we had fun and would recommend the room, especially if you want something that s not on the spooky side.

Another great time at Escape IT Grandview! Did the Explorers Study. Lots of unique puzzles to challenge you. Love that they give you a running progress report on the % of the room complete. Helps to gauge if you need to ask for a clue.

We did Christmas @ Grandmas AND Explorers Study! Both really great games! The staff made it a good time and receive a lot of great help and flexibility planning this event for my group!

My friends and I went to the Grandmas House escape room, and I was thoroughly impressed with the puzzles. I absolutely loved to be challenged, and I felt that this room specifically forced me to think outside of my regular thought process. Excellent theme and we really enjoyed the experience!

My party and I have been here a couple times, completing Christmas at Grandmas and The Explorer. The rooms were great in their own regard, you can tell how much thought went into each puzzle. They are currently working on a fourth room so I can see us coming back when its all ready. Would fully recommend giving these rooms a shot.

We had a great time! Rob helped us get set in the room early to surprise a friend for his birthday, and it worked out perfectly! The room was extremely well designed with a lot of unique features I hadn t seen at other escape rooms

Has the best games in Columbus hands down. The games are all original and you won t have seen them anywhere else. All the clues you find actually make sense and point to other clues to help you solve the game. We honestly can t wait to see the new alien game you have planned soon. Thank you for an amazing time.

Cant say enough good things about Escape It Grandview! The rooms are large enough for a larger group, but also not impossible for a two-person team to escape from. They are well designed and decorated and the puzzles are well thought out and totally different than ones weve seen at other escape rooms. We also LOVE that the game master keeps you updated with a percentage completed throughout the game, so you can help pace yourself and the clues you ask for. Both the speak easy and explorer rooms were super fun and unique and were already trying to fit the new Christmas room into our schedule. Cant wait to see what rooms they have in the future!

We really enjoyed all of the rooms here! Their theming is amazing and their rooms are so fun! Our favorite room was Christmas as Grandmas, but our family had a blast in all of them. The Game Masters are friendly and helpful, and the owner is very well-versed in Escape rooms.

We are escape game enthusiast, having done over a hundred games. We did the explorer game and Saving Christmas. Both games were excellent. The games are non-linear, so you may have ask for hints as to what threads to follow. We did it as a group of 2 - and most games we think cant be done with more than two people without lots of standing around. However, 4 people could have easily done this game together.

We did the Speakeasy and the Explorer s Study - the latter being much more complex than the former (and our first escape room failure). Despite our inability to solve the study, we had such a blast in both rooms! The puzzles are clever, layered, and extremely variable in type/modality. The decoration is well-curated and perfectly suits the themes without being too distracting. Our game masters Laney and Tai (apologies for any misspelling) were awesome - helpful, friendly, and patient! We highly recommend Escape It!

We took our 13 year old son here for his birthday with a bunch of middle school boys as well as 2 adults and 2 younger kids (9 years old). We all really enjoyed ourselves and made it out (with 5 clues..oh well!). The owner was super nice and I loved that there was a progress percentage on the screen in the room. We did the Speakeasy and would absolutely return for other rooms. Highly recommend!

I had to scroll to understand why anyone would give this venue anything less than 5 stars. Our group of three enthusiasts couldn t pick a favorite room, we enjoyed them all equally. In addition, owner Rob and game master Will were extremely nice and professional. There was a good mix of gen 1 and gen 2 locks and puzzles. We will definitely be back next time we pass through Ohio. Thank you both for a wonderful experience!

So much fun! We did the explorers study- which had quite a few challenging puzzles to work through and was so interesting!

First escape room experience and it was a really good one! Ron made us feel welcome and explained a little bit of what to expect. We were with a group of 5 and almost solved the problem, 85% and we used all of the clues. We all had a really good time and had to use different strengths to come together and figure out a way to get out.

We enjoyed our experience at EscapeIt Grandview. We escaped from Christmas at Grandma s. Three of the seven of us were kids and it was a great room for them to help participate in, something you don t always find in escape rooms. The only, and a big negative for us, is that this location is not handicap accessible. My sister who was part of our group doesn t get around well and is in a wheelchair. Thankfully she is able to walk when absolutely necessary otherwise we wouldn t have been able to participate at all. She walked down the stairs with her cane and we carried her wheelchair down. Perhaps I overlooked this detail when booking, but I feel it needs to be made more obvious.

The staff was awesome and the room was amazingly done. Broke out with 2 min to spare!!!

Great escape room! Very intricate and challenging (we did the 4/5 difficulty explorer room). Hints given when needed and allowed us to finish with 24 seconds left :) Everyone had a great time!

My husband and I booked a date night at EscapeIT back in November and it was AMAZING! The speakeasy room was equal parts challenging and creative and Rob was an excellent host taking time to speak with us afterwards. We talked about the room for hours after we left and can t wait to go back to experience another room! Thank you!

One of the best escape rooms in Columbus! My friends and I (age 40s-50s) have done many of the escape rooms in Columbus and this was one of our favorites. We did the Speakeasy room. We enjoyed the authentic decor, and there were some cool features we hadnt seen before in other rooms. It was challenging but we made it out just in the nick of time with some hints. This room has someone monitoring but from outside the room and hints are available but only if you want them, which I like as I have done some rooms where too much help is provided. I liked that we got to decide if and when we wanted any help. We plan to go back and try the other rooms.

We held a Company team-building event at Escape It Grandview and had a blast. Staff worked with us to include all our employees at the same time and helped us plan ahead by completing the waiver online before our scheduled event. Escape rooms were changeling and fun, our team members all enjoyed the experience very much. I highly recommend!

My friends and I did the Speakeasy and we had a blast! The puzzles are challenging and entertaining and the ambience is very authentic. The owner is a pretty cool guy as well, and it is evident that he truly cares about his customers experiences in his rooms. I would highly recommend this room and all of the others!

Very fun, even with our large group of 9. The room was much bigger than other escape rooms, lots of space to explore. The clues and puzzles were highly variable and required different types of thinking to solve. Made it fun for everyone to contribute. Staff was super friendly and laid back. Highly recommend!

My family loves doing the occasional escape room. I was visiting my sister and we tried this escape room/company on a whim. I am SO GLAD we did. The production quality was great and the clues were challenging but also made sense and the flow of the game was great. I would HIGHLY recommend Escape It Grandview and the Christmas at Grandmas room.

The Speakeasy Escape Room at Escape It was quite fun for our family. It was challenging especially as this was our first escape room experience. The room was cool, the technology worked and the puzzles not murderously difficult. The hints were helpful and you have the opportunity to get more than 3 hints which helped us avoid excessive frustration. Very cleverly done, and fun! Well be back at Christmas.
