Disappointing. All in adventure charges per person when the experience does not change based on the number of people (ie 5 people is $150 and 10 is $300). Was locked in a room with broken props that were duct taped together for 50 minutes that entailed unlocking boxes. The experience is nowhere near worth the price, find another place to go.
This was my first escape room experience so nothing to compare. Staff definitely not friendly. I was expecting more than one room and not so many locks. It was fun to figure out clues but very hard to know the order. Lots of little boxes inside of a big box over and over again. We had a group of 8, I would personally recommend 6 or less people. I do not believe the experience was worth the price. Im happy I was able to finally try an escape room but will not be returning to this place.
We went to All In with a group of 8, ranging in age from 4 to 60. We had a great time! Initially I was a little disappointed because of how under-whelming the escape rooms were. But they did a great job putting together a good challenge. We had so much fun in the first room, we booked a second room right then and came back a couple hours later. Marshall, Justine, and Kiera were all amazing! Exceptional customer service. Thank you all!!
First escape room experience and it was a great time! Wanted to try it out with the whole family and we had kids from 6-12. We did the Pirate Adventure, merry not scary, and its location at the mall made it very convenient. There are definitely options out there with more production value for older participants but the puzzles were challenging but still accessible to kids. We finished the main puzzle in 30 min and the master level with 7 minutes left. The initial level could be accomplished by just kids but the master level was hard for my 12 yo. Highly recommend!
One room without any sound suppression or ceiling directly above, so you can hear everyone else playing rooms very clearly. The locks are janky and don t always line up. It felt like one of the more janky rooms that I ve been at. Staff was friendly though! But not enough to make me want to head back.
Justine was an awesome host! The rooms definitely challenged my partner and I. We did Sherlocks Library and Escape From Alcatraz. It was very fun!
All In Adventures Escape Rooms and parties are awesome. The staff are all very gracious and helpful. They prepared my daughter s Sweet 16 Party room with her favorite colors and a memorable Sweet 16 banner. This place really took the pressure off me as a mom trying to give teens a great experience. I will definitely be back with my grown up friends. Justine, the manager came in on her day off to greet us and make sure everything was to our liking. Kind service makes the difference. It felt like we were family and the teens had a blast!!
All in adventures is great for beginners and the staff is absolutely amazing at what they do. They worked with our large group for a special event and would recommend them for anyone else wanting to plan a fun night for a large group ( they accommodated over 30 people)! The rooms were a little warm, but found out later they had AC issues that I am sure will be fixed before most will read this review. Treasure Island was a lot of fun and excited to report my team escaped walking the plank!
My son & his friends did the Zombie Apocalypse room. I paid through the website and check-in was easy. The staff was friendly and energetic. The escape room itself was not in good shape - a blacklight was broken, so the code was just given to them, the correct word was used for a lock, but the lock was broken, etc. The props are not in good condition - many things are broken or duct taped. The staff have several rooms to monitor at the same time and they do not have cameras/speakers to communicate...
like most other escape room places. Instead, the staff circulate though the rooms to see if anyone needs a clue or help, but they are only able to stop by every 15 minutes which is not helpful when the time limit to escape was 1 hour. Overall, the rooms need updates and new props. They should get cameras and speakers to communicate faster.
The experience was amazing. We did not end up escaping, but had a great time trying. Especially, I would like to commend Trish for all of her help. She ensured we understood the room and helped us with hints that allowed us to get as far as we did. Overall, I would highly recommend and would love to come back sometime.
This place was so much fun the second time around with Justine, one of the managers! She thoroughly explained everything to us, gave really good unlimited hints when we needed them & gave us the best customer experience EVER. She was not only exciting but refreshing & great to be around! We will be coming back as well as telling our whole family about this place & for them to request Justine
My son and his friends had a great time here. They enjoyed the room and I know would go back. I d say the only thing keeping us from going back would be the price. Almost $40/person for an hour is a bit steep when looking at things around town to do.
We parked at the wrong end of the mall leaving it to where by time we reach our destination I was gasped. Thankfully we were greeted with warm smiles Veronica and a gentlemans name I cant remember. Was our game room Host until Kayla took over during shift change or break perhaps. They are so kind at when we had our ah-a moments They seemed just as excited as we did! We will definitely be back to try a different room especially since its seizure friendly!
Very disappointing starting from the very first moment that we were rudely greeted by the young lady at the front desk. After waiting for the couple in front of us to be booked in, taken to their room and given the spiel we were finally able to ask if there were restrooms and lockers for us to use. Are you just here for information or are you here for an appointment? She told us that it would take us no less than 10 minutes to find a restroom and proceeded to tell us that we would be docked 2 minutes...
if we chose to visit the restrooms before we started. Mind you, we were back on time! Her attitude totally did a 180, obviously scripted and rehearsed, with a forced smile, once we walked into our room where we found out for ourselves that we had to set our coats and purses on the floor. After the dismal event Ill never forget her saying please pick a sign to hold for your photo and be sure to put it back where you found it when Im done. As for the room... the creativity just wasnt there. None whatsoever. Just 4 walls and a couple of cheap props which was very disappointing since I chose this place because of its great reviews. And really? What photos or videos could I possibly add as the only photo available is the one that was taken in front of the green screen by a member of the staff.
Such a fun experience for my Residents and myself from Bluebird Retirement Community - Assisted Living Village! Thank you for such a fun time!
This place was super cool. It was a great price, had fun staff - especially Trish, our game master! The Black Ops room is a really great, hard level room thatll definitely put your puzzle solving to the test :p
We took our grandson and family to Adventures for his birthday. Although we did not escape :( we had a great time deciphering the clues. The staff was very friendly and where quick when we gave in and ask for a clue. We would definitely go back again.
It was pretty good! Our host (Kira, I believe?) was super nice and helped us a wee bit. Some of the locks wouldn t open even if we had the right combo, though.
My son and I had the best time doing the Zombie escape room. First, everyone we encountered was so kind and welcoming. Second, when we got in the room, Justine was great about explaining everything and helping us out when we needed it. We will definitely be returning again soon.
Overall, we had a fun time! We (2 adults, 2 teens) did the newer Zombie room and finished with about 13 minutes left. We opted to do the extra step and got that done with about 45 seconds left of the 50 minutes. The idea of making a vaccine for the Zombies was fun! It is in the mall and the actual game was in just 1 small square room and theres no one monitoring you like in others, they just stuck their head in to check on us once. You are mostly trying to figure out combinations to locks, theres not as much looking for things like in other ones. You can hear other rooms, which isnt ideal. The staff was super friendly. Overall, it was a good experience!
If I could give a negative star I would. The manager, Kyra, was rude and condescending when we first arrived. That started the experience. When we began our adventures we were escorted into a room, one small room, with cheap stickon wall paper, four locked containers and filthy lamenated articles. Not at all as described, in fact, the website is bordering on fraud, providing filtered images of the experience and description of adventure. We did the Alcatraz escape room. The room was 85 degrees...
, smelled of feet, with a bug infestation. The walls that divided the other activities were very thin, and the childrens music and other guests from that event overshadowed our communication. While we were working through the escape, one of the secured boxes was broke, and opened right up with no key. When leaving they asked if we had fun, when we tried to voice our experience the worker totally ignored us, and smiled and rushed us out.Later, Kyra called and stated we are responsible for the $10 dollar box, and they are charging me $100. This is a travesty that a company can advertise of an activity and provide the opposite. Do not waste money and time, it is great for children under 6, they are free.
This escape room lacked an x-factor. It consists of a single room with minimal props. The only cracking we had to do was opening locks. It was fun but definitely best for beginners and not someone actually looking for a very playful and engaging environment. Not to mention the price when it doesn t change the experience. The staff were hostile and extremely concerned about people breaking things. They wouldn t stop talking about all of the fees if anything was broken.
We had a great time and Trish was an awesome gamemaster. We would definitely come back again because the Sherlock Holmes room was a challenge.
STAY AWAY! Extremely overpriced for a game thats cheap in every aspect. We played Black Ops at Polaris in Columbus. This escape room is better described as an escape cubicle - theres no ceiling and the 12x12 ft space you start in is all you get. The walls were painted lime green and covered in several low-resolution posters that appeared to be pulled off Google images. There was also a small cot we were advised not to sit on, some camo netting, a few jackets, and several crates...
. Close to 100% of the gameplay was opening a crate, reading a clue, and using that to open a padlock on the next crate. The padlocks were very worn and were often finicky to open even when we had the correct combination. This was marketed as an easy game, but there was next to no creativity in any of the puzzles. All of this could be forgiven if we werent charged $30 each for the experience. The Escape Game Columbus is just 15 minutes away, and for almost the same price it offers beautifully decorated rooms, multiple chambers, creative puzzles, and immersive technology. All In Adventures website does a lot to emulate the marketing of better escape rooms (even featuring a video introduction that was notably absent from our actual room), but do not be fooled. Spend your money on a room that deserves it.
This was our first visit to All In Adventures. We ve done many escape rooms over the years and this was (by far) my least favorite place. The clues were poorly designed and executed. For example, we figured out the code to a lock and despite entering the combination correctly it wouldn t open. It took an employee several minutes to get it to open for us. We had the room to ourselves, but since the walls didn t go up to the ceiling, you could hear other rooms talking. Overall, would not recommend this place.
The zombie room was so much fun, it was a little toasty so bring layers to take off but other than that i thought it was great. Trish was a great host and gave us great hints.
This was challenging but fun! Marshall was extremely helpful and let us work through things without spoiling the puzzles. It was extremely entertaining and Marshall was just an all around cool guy to deal with. Give this a go if youre in the Columbus area!
We had a great experience today at All in Adventures. The Escape from Alcatraz room was perfect for the four of us. Our hostess, Justine, was enthusiastic, well organized, and great at providing hints without giving away the answer. I would highly recommend this experience the next time youre looking for a fun family outing.
The rooms look and feel cheap, certain puzzles in the room are worn and don t work as they should, They have a single, unmaintained fan that doesn t blow any air, and it s a lawsuit waiting to happen with how hot it gets in the room. While the workers themselves were nice, I wouldn t waste your time and money.
Contacted to resolve a couple issues including the game host arguing with us during the game, and not getting what we paid for. Nearly 300 dollars and no offer to resolve aside from a gift card back.. we will not be back. Update. Corrected to a 4 star. Company worked with me through my issues and I am satisfied with the outcome. Thank you.
