Amaze Room Escapes Raleigh

Incredible experience at the Amaze Room Escapes! We did the mysterious room and it was fun and challenging for our group of 5 adults. Absolutely recommend!

This is my 4th escape room, and this did not disappoint! I wont spoil anything, but the room had some normal escape room stuff (puzzles, locks), and it had a cool unique feature as well. The price was very comparable to other rooms as well. Overall, very satisfied and I plan to visit again for a different room!! Update: Weve now done all the rooms at Amaze Escapes and they are all great. Highly recommended if you like escape rooms!!!!

The staff was amazing and very helpful. Very clean and well designed room. My wife and I went in The Mysterious Room. It was our first time every doing an escape room and it was awesome. I highly recommend Amaze Room Escapes due to the fun and entertaining environment.

This was probably the best Escape Room Ive ever done in my life. Im not allowed to reveal secrets, but know that theyre extensive and well laid out beyond the classic, figure out this lock and look at this map. Also the mini-games before the maze were awesome too. I really appreciate the staff allowing my family and I to finish even though we didnt actually finish the maze within a hour.

We had sooo much fun here. The new owners were great and very friendly. We talked for a bit about their story and they gave the birthday boy a gift upon his arrival. This was my third escape room. I did one in Miami and the other in Orlando and the one in Raleigh really impressed me.

We had a really fun time at this escape room! The Mysterious Room had a lot of fun elements and puzzles to it. The owner was a lovely person. He was super nice and helpful with clues and tips. We had a great experience.

The room was fun and interesting. However our attendant was late because he forgot that our appointment was at 2pm and got it mixed up with another group that cancelled. To add insult to injury, the attendant said they would arrive in 10-15 min and ended up showing up to the escape room 45 minutes late with a fresh cup of Starbucks in their hand, so clearly they had time to get coffee but not come in time to open the escape room up to us. We had to stand outside the door for 45 minutes which ended up being more time than it took to solve the escape room. Did not feel like our time was value by this action.

Our family and special friend had a blast! We have participated in two room escapes and both were challenging and lots of fun. The staff was very helpful and we are amazed by the planning that has gone into the puzzles! We will be back!

Great experience. It was our first time trying an escape room. Vince went all in the make sure it was perfect. We did the Mystery Room/Jewelry Heist. Vince answered our questions very well, and gave clear instructions before we entered the room. It was rated a 5/5 difficulty level; and we needed every single clue. No spoilers, but don t wear a dress. Did I mention Vince assisted with my guy PROPOSING to me. Yep, Vince helped with the entire setup right down to the ring in the last clue, and coordinating days in advance with my friends to make every detail perfect. He even let them get pictures from the camera feed to capture the moment. I look forward to good back. May try an easier room though.

The prison break room was really fun! Challenging and creative, even just a teeny bit creepy which I loved.

Amazing experience at Amaze Escape Room. We had a great time as a family solving the Mysterious Room. The clues were challenging and clever and had unexpected twists that added to the excitement . Vince was wonderful. Highly recommend.

What an outstanding experience! I have done many escape rooms throughout the country and this was the absolute best hands down! Vincent was terrific from the moment we entered the business to the moment we left. We did Mysterious Room and it was fun, challenging and definitely immersive. He hosted us with such enthusiasm, gave great clues and he added so much to our experience as well. Many thanks Vincent - I highly recommend for all.

First and foremost, Vince (the owner) is great. Truly wonderful customer service. We had a handful of kids with us (a couple of them siblings tagging along that were too small to participate much), and he was so friendly and encouraging. The room itself was excellent. Overall I think the primary thing I have to say about Amaze Room Escapes is the fact that I truly could tell Vince wants people to have fun. From the design of the room to his demeanor, I felt like he put customer experience first. Were definitely going back!

We had the best time celebrating my birthday at Amaze Room Escapes! Booking online was simple. It was easy to find & we arrived early. We received a warm greeting from Vince, the owner, & an offer to start early. The Prison Break room was challenging & encouraged us to work together. We plan to return next month to try another room.

Had a great time at Amaze Room Escapes. The room we chose was very well thought out and DEFINITELY not easy! The room had immersive experience I was looking for. My only complaint was that the restroom was not very clean, didn t have hand soap or drying towels. Overall great experience and would do again.

I booked over the phone a couple weeks ago and got my receipt for booking but when I showed up with my group, no one was there. We waited around for 20 minutes and called 5-7 times with no answer. An hour later, the guy calls back with a story of what happened and offered free rooms and a full refund. That was over a week and a half ago and I have not been able to get my refund or get in contact with him via email or phone and the phone goes straight to VM. I was understanding at first but now this is ridiculous for a business owner to operate this way.

Prison Break (I think) - I recommend this place and room for beginners or people with kids, but dont do this if youve done a lot of escape rooms before... Unfortunately, this was one of the worst escape rooms we have ever done. My friend and I have done 15+ escape rooms over the last few years. We love them. But as we are about to start the clock, the game master tells us basically what to do for the first puzzle! Like didnt even give us a chance to see it for ourselves. And then there were maybe 5-6 more puzzles which took a couple minutes a piece (if that). We were out within 25 minutes. Im not sure if we just happened to do their easiest room, but it was not hard at all, almost elementary. The props and room decorations were mediocre. Not a fan.

Absolutely a scam!! We purchased tickets online through the escape room website, showed up 15 minutes prior to our appointment time of 2pm on a Sat. We waited until 20 after 2pm and still no owner or employee showed up to open the business. We called several times, all calls went straight to voicemail. Such a disappointment for the family. Now we have to fight for our refund.

Weve done a few escape rooms before. This was our first time going with our kids, and this was a great place to do it. The room was well done, and the staff was very friendly and completely welcoming and understanding of the fact that we had kids and were looking for a family-focused event. Also, we appreciated that the staff was very focused on immersion and keeping you invested in the theme of the story. At the end of the day, you are solving puzzles, but it is more fun to also pretend that you are in the story that you are in. Very fun.

This was our first time going and we had a blast! We took my son for his birthday! He cant wait to do another one. We were so close to escaping. The puzzles were fun to figure and made you really think. Staff was super friendly and explained everything. They give 3 hints when you requested them. Felt it was little slow getting last 2 hints but they were awesome overall. We will be doing more of these. Thanks for a great time!!

I hate posting bad reviews but I m getting no response. Plus my daughter s 16th birthday was a failure. I was told about 35 minutes prior to the start of our reservation that the owner was sick. They offered me a refund or to reschedule. I told them I wanted a refund especially since this was for my daughter s birthday. I work 2 jobs so I don t have money to throw away. I have not heard from the owner since and I have reached out numerous times. He accidentally sent me a text meant for someone else...

That being said you can take people s money and not return it especially when you offered a refund. I need my money just like you need yours. This is very unprofessional and you ruined a birthday gathering. I now have to pay back the people who were coming to the party out of my pocket.

Were from Orlando where we do escape rooms frequently. Weve seen all sorts of different puzzles and atmospheres in the rooms weve been to, and were very impressed with Amaze Room Escapes. There isnt a sign outside so its not easily noticeable, and not a lot going on in the lobby (aside from a large chalkboard for guests to write on before they leave), but the inside of the rooms were much more immersive than I anticipated. Read full review. The puzzles were innovative and different than anything wed seen before. The way that everything functioned and moved was very impressive and the aesthetic was pretty good (definitely the best Ive seen of the 3 escape rooms Ive done in NC). Our group was the only one of the day to make it out, and we were so pleased with the experience that we went right back and did the other room that night! They had let us know it was easier, and it was. But we were again impressed with how unique some of the challenges were, and that made getting out so quickly worth it. I think it may be great for them to gather specific feedback from the people leaving, especially those who have done escape rooms before. Since theyre aware of one room being easy, nothing wrong with making some changes to make it a little more challenging! Overall, for a brand new escape company only opened a month, I was dazzled by the overall quality. These guys have some very innovative ideas, and the staff was incredibly friendly and professional, selling the theme on both rooms. I look forward to more great rooms next time we visit!!

Had a great family experience at Amaze Room Escapes! We had 6 of us trying to escape from The Mysterious Room- and we escaped with 10 minutes to spare. The room was well done and had a couple of fun exciting twists. At first glance, the room could use use a bit more production value, but the twists in the end definitely made it worth it. The owner is amazing as well- she was extremely helpful with my booking and great at the time of the escape. I would recommend!

My family and I visited this escape room for my husbands birthday. First of all, I love that the room was private. Second, the clues were challenging and a lot of fun to work with. And third, the owner of Amaze Escapes was such a delight. There are 2 other rooms at this venue so we will definitely be visiting in the near future. Thank you for a wonderful time, Ms. Owner :)

We had a blast at Amaze Room Escapes. We did their newest room, Escape from the Black and White and it was challenging yet fun! The staff was exceptional - we were warmly greeted and the game master did a super job! Very engaging and personable. We will have our next date night in a few weeks and will be back to experience another room! Thanks for making our night out so much fun!!

I always love room escapes and have done many times in different places. I have to admit, this is the best room escape experience I ever had! !!! We four friends decided to do this one because its excellent environment and decorations. The stuff there were super friendly, and introduced the two options available there. We did the harder one because we wanted some challenge. We were given one hour to escape after the stuff made detailed introductions about background story and safety instructions...
Read full review. Inside the escape room, it is well decorated, with a lot of fine furnitures, light and music. The puzzles were so well designed that I think they were better than any other ones I had before in other places. It took us over 50 minutes to get out of the room, with the help of one clue from the stuff. The difficulty level satisfied us all. I would love to group a few friends again to try their the other room escape. I believe it will be as good as the one we tried. Looking forward to go back to play again!

We went yesterday and had a great time! The building was having an air conditioning problem, but they were very upfront and called me with updates through the afternoon. They gave us options to reschedule, but we decided to risk it anyway! I m so glad we went! Our group of four did the Black and White room, and we loved all the puzzles and tasks. Bonus: we were able to escape! We did have to use our three clues though! Highly recommend this place to anyone, and we look forward to going back and trying other rooms!

Pretty cool escape room! I would recommend mysterious room. Super helpful staff Vince explaining everything and it s really fun for an escape room!!! I would say they have nice set up! I have visited 3 other escape rooms in the area. This place have been the coolest! Recommend going with family or friends to connect! You will have fun!!

We had so much fun! We came back again because we had such a great experience before. The room was exceptional. A terrific balance of fun and challenging puzzles. The atmosphere was full of energy and the staff is outstanding! Thanks Amaze Room Escapes for being so amazing!

So much fun! We did the Black and White room. There were 4 of us and all of our first times. The employees were extremely inviting and welcoming- we felt so at home. Vince was our leader and he explained things so well and helped us through every bit. When time was up we immediately wanted to book another room because it was that addicting. Love!
