It was ok if I pretended for the kids sake. Jonathan, the game master, was very rude and belittling. I cant imagine that J doesnt soon have his teeth on the floor. Just meet the right man. Sharing two very weak lights between 4 is a bad strategy (50% of your audience is in the dark at all times), and the clues are out terrible. I would not recommend I highly suspect that everyone who likes this place in reviews knows Jonathan personally or worst yet, he might own it, and that is why he is still gets to be an absolute horror to paying customers. Its not good for families. Its not good for kids. Other escape room places are great. Dont go here.

Great experience for our first time here. My girlfriend and I did the new room a Hero s Story . The game master was very nice, funny, and helpful! We were able to escape with 9 minutes left. Great mixture of challenges and puzzles and interesting game story! Would love to go back soon, definitely recommend :)

Had a great time at Mission X Escape. The staff was friendly and the room (Candy land) was challenging and well put together.

Quite challenging with a variety of puzzles. They were logical and sequential. The staff were friendly and helpful. When we requested one of our three hints, staff would let us talk though it and clarify details without penalty; unless they provided information we overlooked. We did not manage to escape from the Mirage room but definitely plan to go back to try the harder rooms. Well worth the price, we had a great time during the escape as well as after talking about it.

Our group of 4 did the Vampire room, and it had some unique challenges we hadnt experienced before. The atmosphere was great and the hints were enough to keep us moving forward to our escape! It was a great experience and Ill definitely be back to try another room.

Very fun, well organized rooms. Staff did a great job explaining the procedures, were polite, and they were ready for our appointment time. My only suggestion would be to inform people of how many rooms there are for their selected escape theme. Either that or providing an estimated time to spend per room would be useful. This would help customers budget their time more wisely if they re aware of how much progress they re actually making. But I suppose that s also part of the fun! Great place, will definitely return :)

Staff was really nice, room was clean and well put together! My only complaint is the scoring system had the Sasquatch room rated a 7/10 (the only lower room was 6/10) which I thought would be mildly difficult for casual puzzlers but was super, super linear and easy. It only took us about 20ish minutes (I know, probably not as fast as it would for some folks) but there was never really a moment where we were tripped up. I just thought it would be more challenging and the room felt like it was more for kids or families. Id consider booking with Mission Games again but would probably call and ask more questions about the difficulty of the room I was choosing!

We had a great time in the hurricane room! My husband and I almost finished it, we just needed 2 minutes more. I appreciated how challenging and diverse the puzzles were. It was a great birthday gift for him. The staff member Grace was excellent and professional.

Spoilers about Vampire Manor Below*** The moon phase clue was terribly written and illogical. When we asked for a clue, rather than hearing a voice over the intercom, we instead got a staff member physically entering the room, which was awkward and spoiled the immersion. Also, it took him a few minutes, which wasted time. The physical collection of the weapons actually contributed nothing toward the ending since the codes were written down anyway. We failed to escape the room. We asked the game...
*** master (Jonathan) how we were supposed to have solved the final puzzle. He condescendingly asked us, When you opened up the cabinet with the final gem, what ELSE was in the cabinet...? Confused, we responded, ...um, nothing. He then told us, Oh, there was supposed to be a black light in there. I guess that my coworker must have forgotten to put it there.

We had a family get-together in the Heros Story escape room. Starting in one room, we worked together to figure out how to access the next room and then broke into smaller groups to figure out the puzzles. Good effort was put into the decor and props by Mission X, but by the nature of the game, some areas obviously took more of a beating than others. The staff was friendly and we had a really fun time, making it out with only 3 minutes to spare.

This place is beyond amazing! My partner and I completed the Hurricane themed room and were informed beforehand that it has only a 15% escape rate! Since the puzzles are solved one at a time, we were glad to be in there with just the two of us, as having a large group would mean more of a struggle with seeing everything and communicating. I highly recommend Mission X Escape, it was the perfect birthday treat and we plan to go back soon!

My group of 7 (ages ranging 10-60) did the super hero room . We honestly had a really great time and would love to go back again. Our host (Johnathan...?) was really informative and kind. We would all love to go back. We did complete the room with less than a minute to spare, which was exciting and nerve wrecking.

We knew not to expect too much going in because we were warned by a friend, but the price was right so we decided to go anyways. Got to the room and our first impression was wow this is gross. The room is falling apart. It looks like nothing has been cleaned since opening. We understand these rooms take a beating, but it was seriously disgusting--shoe prints, grease prints, grimy, sticky...you name it. We got over the dirt and made it to the second room only to find that we had not been told about...
how to reset one of the locks to solve the puzzle. We spent probably 20 minutes with the answer to a puzzle, but couldnt open the door because we didnt realize we werent resetting the lock properly. It was aggravating. We didnt finish the last room (on account of the 20 minutes wasted not knowing how to reset the lock), but were told at the end of the hour that one of the clues was missing from the room and there was no way to solve the final puzzle without it anyway. The employee thought it had fallen behind a cabinet bolted to the wall and said that this was a frequent occurrence. The final nail in the coffin was the ring of mold in the toilet and the dust-bunnies stuck to something sticky in the corner. We had no issues with the employee, as mentioned in other reviews, but the cleanliness was hard to overlook. We were left with one puzzle: where is our $25/person going?

Escape room was fun. We did find a cockroach in the first room though. Guy with beard was a little rude when we asked for the last hint, as he came in and punched the door. Also gave us a flashlight but sadly it ran out of batteries. Would recommend for a quick escape room but unfortunately i wouldnt come back again. Thank you for your business and i wish you good luck.

I ve been here twice now and really enjoyed the experience! I appreciate that you only need two to book a room, whereas most local places have a 3-person minimum, since my partner and I enjoy doing these just us!

I took my best friend here for her birthday and we absolutely loved it! We did A Hero s Story and it was fun, thought provoking, intense, and engaging. I highly recommend going to Mission X Escape if you like escape rooms or want to give it a try. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. It was thrilling and affordable!

My wife and I played the Hurricane. The room was very creatively themed, the puzzles were challenging but fair, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Could not ask for a better experience.

Terrible customer service. From the start me and my friends came in excited to try our first escape room. However the host was really rude and condescending the entire time. When asking for hints it felt as if we were wasting his time. We did enjoy the escape room but our host made us feel unwelcome. We will not be returning back to this one.

Just finished up the Hurricane Room here and needless to say we will NOT be returning. The attendant (male, glasses, reddish brown hair) was extremely rude and condescending. Yes, we knew it was the most challenging room but for him to speak to us in the belittling manner that he did and make us feel so low was unacceptable. On the directional lock, we had it figured out, but for some reason it wouldnt open. We used a hint, he came in and clearly saw that we were on the right path, but barked at...
us and demanded that we tell him the answer while he was already in the process of entering the code. We said we did it the way he did and on his way out, he quipped no, you didnt. If you did, it would have opened. His bothered attitude happened with each interaction in the room. He was quasi pleasant when we were leaving. His omniscience only extends within these escape rooms, otherwise he would know that he is not cut out to interact with the public.

We booked Candy Land room for two families. It was young kids friendly and we all had a fun time. The theme is good for both adults and kids. It was adorable and colorful theme. The clues were helpful and interesting. The difficult level is intermediate, not too hard, not too easy. We just got out in the last minute. It was a fun experience for all of us. We will definitely book other rooms next time.

Ive been here twice, once for a work group and once with my boyfriend for our anniversary. I had a great time (and escaped) both times! The staff are welcoming and did a good job explaining all the rules etc well before we started, and the rooms have some really impressive locking mechanisms set up (I think the staff said one of the owners is a mechanical engineer). Some of the puzzles are very tricky, but the staff make sure their hints are helpful when you call on them. I did both the Butcher...
Shop room and the Mirage room - both are rooms you do in the dark with flashlights, something to consider depending on any vision concerns. Youll likely be standing the whole time, so wear comfy shoes. Youll be there about 1.5 hour total - 15 minutes before for rules, 1 hour for the room, and 15 minutes after for some pictures with props. Probably not good for young children (under 10?), and buying in advance is a good idea. Overall, Ive had a great time here, and I definitely plan to go back!

We enjoyed our experience here and will return! We did the Mirage room with 4 people, which had challenging but doable puzzles. Would have been nice if the staff was a little faster about coming to the room after requests for hints, as that wasted a few valuable minutes each time.
