Bull City Escape Durham

My husband and I brought some friends to this escape room and it was so much fun! None of us had experienced one before, so we werent sure what to expect but it was easy to get into and they give you all the tools you need. Our game master was Megan and we would HIGHLY recommend her as she was so warm and friendly at check in and her attentiveness was superb. She did not intrude but was gracious with a freebie hint when our group was missing something critical and obvious. When we did have to request a hint, she was fast and helped us along the way. This was such a fun time and we will definitely be back to experience some more rooms!

We had no idea what to expect. The tickets were bought for our sons birthday but Covid prevented them going during their visit with us. So we recruited two other friends in our 65-70 age range and jumped into it. It seemed overwhelming at first but we got the hang of it and had a great time.

I and my office friends went there last weekend. We chose the Elfs revenge. It was so much fun. Difficulty was 7/10. And we took 55 minutes to escape. Loved it!!! The staff was super friendly and gave us all the instructions before we entered the escape room. We also got some hints while playing. I would definitely come back.

Mars was a perfect game master. We did a Study in Murder with a group of 7. We did use the three clues and escaped with seven minutes to spare. The puzzles were challenging but nothing too crazy. We were very close!

We did the lunar lockdown this afternoon for some family time on our holiday weekend. It was a lot of fun with very challenging puzzles. We escaped with seven minutes to spare, so it was really close but one of the better escape rooms we ve done! Zee was a fantastic game master! Her hints were just enough to move us forward without any spoilers. We ll definitely be back to do the remaining rooms.

My little team of 3 people did the Lunar Escape room and David was our game master. Overall the room was quite impressive, and I thought all of the puzzles coincided with each other really well! Luckily, one of us had done several escape rooms and she was a great help to solving the puzzles. I would say that to be most successful in escaping, having someone experienced in escape rooms on the team helps, but the clues we were given from David were fantastic. The facilities were clean and there was a bathroom. David was helpful and I would definitely be glad to have him as a game master again. Overall we had a lovely time, and we will look at this place when we want to escape again!

The escape room was really fun and magical! Our guide, Zee, was very nice and helped make it a very memorable experience. I really liked working together with my family and we will definitely be back.

We had a group of 8 visit the escape room tonight for our friend s birthday, and we could not have had more fun!! Angie was an incredible game leader, and did an excellent job walking us through how the game worked. I would strongly recommend the escape room location & even more so, I would recommend getting Angie as your game leader!

My friends and I went in to do A Study in Murder over the weekend and it was very fun! Our game master, Megan, was very kind and good at her job, the instructions and premise were clear, and the puzzles were unique and fun! At times they called for a lot of communication and teamwork between multiple people, which I thought was great. The puzzles were also very logical in their order, so it was possible for my group to get out quickly. Overall an awesome experience, which I would highly recommend to those who want a fun room with a bit of a challenge!

Ben was the highlight of our escape room experience. His enthusiasm and passion were infectious, making every moment more engaging and exciting. From the start, he provided clear instructions and set the scene with expert storytelling, instantly immersing us in the adventure. Bens timing with hints was impeccable, offering just enough guidance to keep us on track without spoiling the fun. His ability to read our group and adjust his support accordingly was remarkable. Bens friendly demeanor and genuine excitement for our progress made us feel like valued participants in an epic quest. His dedication and charisma truly elevated our experience, and we cant thank him enough for making our visit unforgettable.

Such a fun experience!! Went with some friends who had never done an escape room before and we had a blast! Maegan was awesome and really got us into character with her explanation of the game and setting the scene! She was also helpful when we got stuck! We will definitely be back!!

We had an awesome time!! Zee really set the stage for us and answered all of our pre-game questions with ease! She was super knowledgeable and kind. We may not have escaped this time, but she encouraged us and told us we did really well. Her positive energy was infectious, and she was a delightful game master!

Our group of 3 had a great time at Bull City Escape solving the Lunar Lockdown the hour flew by and the tasks were challenging, but achievable (thanks to a few hints). Mars was a great host! Thank you for a great experience!

First time visiting an escape room .so fun! My daughters and myself had an amazing time and Noni was there for us when we needed hints! We ALMOST escaped but we will definitely be coming back and asking for Noni s assistance!

Really fun escape room, awesome puzzles, well decorated themed rooms !! Ben was our host and really got in to character. 10/10 would recommend XD

Angie was amazing!! She was really helpful and very funny explaining how the escape room worked and operated. She also did a good job helping us without giving anything away. Angie was great!

I had a great time here at Bull City Escape! Angie was THE BEST game master we could have had. Celebrated my birthday with lots of fun and felt like she truly made my day!

I did one of the escape rooms as a team building activity for my department retreat. It was very fun, challenging, surprising. There was a lot of variety in the puzzles and clues. We did not escape but we had a blast! Hannah was the staff person who explained everything to us (and gave us all the hints) and she was efficient and clear and helpful. Cant wait to go back.

Came here with my team from work and we had the best time! Great way to build team communication and problem solving. Our host, Ben, walked us through what to expect and helped give hints when we were stuck (you get three hints but luckily we only needed to use two). Definitely planning to come again. Thanks Ben!

Went there with friends and we had a great time! We took the Enchanted Kingdom room and it was a blast with tons of clever puzzles and surprises. Our game master, David, was very helpful, funny, and tall. He took very good care of us. 10/10 would go again

One of the best Escape Rooms I have ever done. Rooms are definitely challenging and worth it. Also it helps having a Game Master like Ben to brief you on the story behind the Rooms. He really sells the excitement. A definite recommendation.

The puzzle was really fun, and super inventive! This was my first escape room, and I loved it! We finished with two minutes to spare haha. Our Game Master, Z, was so nice, and such a delight to work with. Many thanks to the people at Bull City Escape for a wonderful experience.

We had an awesome time at Bull City Escape in the lunar launch room! Well-designed and clever. Mars was an excellent game master giving us just the right challenge (two adults, two kids).

Bull City Escape is always a good time. Rooms are pretty and puzzles are creative with some real oooh and ahhh Moments, and a few Oh Mans if youre lucky. Zee was delightful as a host, and made the experience 5/5!

Me and my friends did the enchanted forest room and it was SO much fun!! Our guide was Zee, she was the best!! super kind and helpful. It was my first time ever at an escape room and she made it feel very approachable and enjoyable. I highly recommend, and thank you Zee!!

What a great escape! Our party did Lunar Lockdown. It was a well maintained room and the puzzles were fun. We really liked our guide for the adventure - Zee! Will definitely return to escape from other rooms!

We had such a fantastic time trying to escape Lunar Lockdown!! The puzzles were challenging but fun and Mike our DM was a great character and guide! The space was clean and thoughtful.

Awesome experience! My 3 friends and I did the Murder Mystery Room and it was super fun. Room was challenging, but the clues were understandable and flowed together nicely. Probably my favorite escape room! Mike was also very helpful and made the experience great!
