Exit Strategy North Charlotte

We beat the mansion! This was one of the most detailed themed escape rooms in the Charlotte area. The mansion has multi room puzzles where as most others in the area are single rooms. It provided an excellent challenge. The staff is super friendly and did excellent impromptu acting. Shout out to the Exit Strategy team: Christine, Maggie, KaQuan, and Elana did a great job.

As a Game Master traveling to see my sister, I knew I had to put some escape rooms on the to do list! We did the Quest of Honor, Gone, and The Ruins rooms, and all were amazing. The set, design, puzzle flow, and customer service was amazing in every aspect. Our favorites were Quest of Honor and The Ruins, both felt like we were really in a movie! As a person who has done hundreds of rooms, I will most certainly be back! Shout out to our Game Masters Blake, Christine, and Keven for being awesome! EDIT: This year I came back and we did The Mansion! This room was very unexpected and we had tons of fun. Thanks Max, Maggie, and Darren for a great time!!

This was a great experience, especially for my 1st time doing it! I fell short of the goal with my team (on the last part too lol) but it was extremely fun, challenging and Id definitely do it again 100%!

Mansion is a great experience! We barely made it out! The guy who played the servant was great and the people giving hints helped us without spoiling anything!

Our team had a great time at the Mansion with Darren (sp?) and Alex. We had some feedback about the game like, please add flashlights. And drop a hint at the beginning thats OK to lightly push, pull, or move items. There were many things that we were afraid to move too hard and they were actually designed to be moved. It was still a fun game and well be coming back to try other games.

My friends and I did the Spy Trainer & it was such a fun experience! The puzzles were challenging yet solvable. Although we did not complete it, we were informed that we were super close! The staff (Darren and Elana) were very helpful. Will be coming back!

This is absolutely a hidden gem. Our trips to Exit Strategy North in CLT are always a blast , especially when we bring a few friends. The employees always get really into the roles they play and make it fun for everyone. We always love seeing Elana and Alex when they re working there. They never make up feel bad about asking for help when the puzzles in the escape rooms have us stumped.

We had a great family outing to Exit Strategy in North Clt. The room we did (Spy Training) was intricate and challenging. Rachel was a professional and friendly host and was really rooting for us! We will certainly be back for another room! Highly recommend this venue!

Had a birthday party for my cousins and we had a great time! We didn t solve the room, but it was a lot of fun and Max did a great job helping when needed. Would definitely go back to try a different room.

KaQuan and Elana were very nice and informative. It was funner than I thought. Of course daughter loved it

Always a great experience here! Most recently did the Barutas Revenge room with friends. The sound effects were having issues, but the GMs offered to make their own sound effects if we didnt want to wait for them to reboot the system. This was a great idea and only made the experience better for an experienced group of escape room players. Elana and May were particularly great at GMing and acting out the necessary parts!

I went with some friend this past weekend and we had a blast in the mansion. We didn t get out but Max was super helpful with all the hints and Ema did an amazing job setting an ambiance for the beginning of the room. I will definitely go back to finish the rooms I haven t done yet/haven t done in a while!

My family and I (6 total) did the Sub Zero escape room 4/4. Upon arrival we were greeted by Anna. Our experience was beyond fun. It was our 1st attempt at this escape room. Anna was our guide and not only was she super polite, she was funny as heck! We plan to return to attempt escape from The Mansion this weekend. Hopefully Anna will be there to make our experience as smooth as she did this one!

Christine and Max were awesome!! They were so interactive and really dove into the story and the characters. The room was incredibly detailed and was a good mix of easy enough to figure out while still being challenging. Great experience and service!

Elana was our game master, and we did the Ruins room!! It was absolutely amazing, and the room was so well put together. So many twists and turns and exciting things!

Dont go here unless your ready for your quality of escape room to be drastically and I mean drastically raised the guy we had really sold it some might say its corny but I dont go to an escape room for weirdos trying to judge others doing they best to enhance your experience I want the place to go all out which they did I was absolutely shook at the quality had me saying I cant just be taking everybody here cant waste the rooms they have on people its like the first one has me hooked usually at other places they ask if you plan on coming back and want some deal at this place they know you coming back regardless which they deserve

We had a great trip through The Ruins at Exit Strategy with Darren and Elana as our guides. We came so close to escaping with the treasure. Great place to go for our daughter s birthday.

Awesome staff! Christina was an absolute sweetheart and super helpful (and In character) the entire time. We will definitely be back for the rest of the rooms!

Elana did a wonderful job guiding us thru mansion room. The hints were clear and straightforward. She was fun and helpful. We definitely will come back for more rooms and hopefully Elana will be the person to guide us again. The other person Darren was helpful and professional as well.

I recently booked Spy Trainer as a corporate outing with my colleagues. I have played most of Exit Strategys games at both the North & South locations and have played over 110 escape rooms throughout the US. Normally, the GMs bring their A game, but this time they did not, which was disappointing after I hyped it up to my colleagues. It was very much a matter-of-fact, out of character intro. Read full review a heavy meal before we came. We were also promised a 15-30 minute debrief that did not happen, unfortunately. Also, there were technical elements of the game that kept malfunctioning and added to the frustration. Otherwise, Exit Strategy can be a really fun time as the GMs normally appear in character as well as answer clues in character. The sets can also be very immersive. With Ruins, you will feel like youre Indiana Jones. With Gone, youll feel like youre a paranormal investigator. Overall, Exit Strategy can be hit and miss, while I have more consistent expectations while planning events with my colleagues versus with my friends.

Rachel was the best Quarter Master on our 1st Exit Strategy adventure. Me and my friends loved the experience and she definitely kept us engaged and on task. We might have drove her

Darren, Elana, Max, Maggie and Ka Quan deserve a substantive raise. Pay your employees more. Pay them $25 an hour, I pay my nanny $20 an hour. Don t be stingy, the labor market is about to get tight.

it was awesome!! Anna was a wonderful interactive game master, and Elana did a great job setting us up! Even though we did not escape, we still had so much fun!!

Darren and Elana were amazing! My sister was a little anxious in The Ruins because of how dark it was which we originally picked. So, they helped us switch to The Mansion which she felt more comfortable in and answered all her questions! She had a great time for her birthday :-) Thank you so much guys!!!!! (Give these two a raise!!!!)

Had an amazing time trying to escape The Mansion ! Didn t quite escape, but had fun regardless. Darren was a phenomenal actor/guide when giving hints when we were stumped. Definitely want to come back and attempt the room again or another one!

They were awesome, extremely helpful. Darren, max, Maggie, Alana and KaQuan made this a fun experience for such a large group.

My friends and I did the Ruins room and it was tons of fun! We ended up beating it and had a great game master, Max. Would definitely recommend if you had to request a game master

Highly recommend this facility. We had a team building event of 18 and everyone had nothing but great things to say about the games. They had a great time and said the rooms were challenging even for these scientists/engineers and researchers.

The staff was lots of fun. Maggie, Eleanor, and Darren gave my team so many hints and we failed them. I can t wait to come back again

Went here to do the mansion escape room and it was such an amazingly immersive experience! Kaquan was amazingly helpful and insightful throughout the whole experience while being super friendly! Anna also gave our group an awesome experience while playing her character. Would highly recommend this room for intermediate escape room enthusiasts!
