Escape in Time Albuquerque

This was our first time here and it was for a birthday party. The boys had a blast and we were there for a little over two hours. After completing the rooms and saving the villagers (parents), the boys celebrated with ice cream which they picked ahead of going into the rooms. The staff were really engaging and tried to build a knights and dragons atmosphere. We will definitely visit again.

This place is one of the greatest experiences my wife and I have had while visiting Albuquerque. We were celebrating our 13 year anniversary and chose to do an escape room. The staff was so great and accommodating. We did the train escape room. This was our first time doing an escape room. I highly suggest going to this one. There are puzzles, keys, and great stories to be experienced in the great location, and the ice cream is good, too. The owners of the business were so kind. My wife and I can t thank them enough for this great experience.

We spent my sons birthday at Escape In Time and it was one of the best experiences we ever had! My son and his friends experienced Captain Morgan and it was just the right amount of difficulty for teens. One adult had to accompany them if under 16. The venue was fantastic and the ice cream social afterwards was so nicely done. I love that this is a locally owned family business. Each experience was taylored and designed with so much thought and care. This truly is a unique, custom, non-franchised, one-of-kind escape room experience. We will be back!!

Fun time. Celebrated my daughter s 14th birthday. The owners did a great job with the acting, decor, and puzzles. Got a free ice cream for the birthday. Found a coupon in our room for an free ice cream.

One room down and the rest to go, was my first time going to an escape room and the puzzles were great! Our hosts were excellent folks and we will absolutely be returning for more soon.

My family and I came here for the Pink Panther room and absolutely loved the theme! The room master was completely in character the whole time and was having us laugh. We appreciate that the room was a mixture of puzzles and not just locks and more locks like other rooms we been to. We also enjoyed some ice cream afterwards and were patient due to a birthday party. So, she was so nice and gave us some free ice cream for our wait. Overall, customer service was some of the best we ever received and we appreciate their time and dedication and kindness put into the entire experience.

When we first walked in, there was an air of mystery about the place. Our Australian host greeted us and walked us through what was about to happen. He was awesome. Very personable and a great character to lend to the ambiance. Unfortunately I didn t catch his name, but he did share that it was his first day helping us poor missionaries through the Amazon Falls experience. Read full review through, and he did a great job of building the ambiance. Continuing through the room, some hints were given, as my wife and I were not doing nearly as well as our young son. Lol. We managed to figure out the room with a scant 5 minutes remaining, and there was a surprise gift in store for us as well as we made it through the puzzles. Much thought was put into the room, and while difficult, was not crazy tough. The ice cream shop that is attached to the business is also very awesome and delicious. All in all, 100% worth the trip and we will be back.

We had an absolute blast with our friends last night. Keith and Penny are so awesome. They have thought through each room so well - the clues, the storyline, and fun extra things. They also want you to succeed so you know you re going to have a great time. I cannot recommend this place enough. You just have to experience it for yourself.

Keith is amazing! We did two rooms back to back and they were both awesome. Entire family had a blast. Make sure you eat the blue ice cream when your done...or make your kid do it...

We celebrated our daughter s 23rd birthday solving the Christmas Cookie Caper! It was great fun. They had a fun person monitoring our progress in character that goes along with the theme of the room. He provided helpful hints if requested. We enjoyed ourselves a great deal. Highly recommended!

Such a fun experience. A few of us were new to escape room so we did the Captain Morgan themed escape room which was challenging but absolutely solvable. The people who work there seem to really care about the place and were super nice and fun to talk to! I called before going there to ask a few questions and the employee who answered was super patient and sweet in answering questions. Maybe my favorite escape room Ive ever been to.

I went to this place last night, and it was my first experience with an escape room! And what a wonderful experience! We had a blast, and after we solved our room we got some ice cream. The owner was there and she was such fun to talk to! The folks there all genuinely seem to love what theyre doing, and theyve really put a lot of care and attention into the place. Im excited to go back!

My family took our mom to this place for Mothers Day this year, and we all enjoyed it a lot. It was a fun and well crafted experience with a mix of some straightforward and completely unique puzzles and problems to solve. There is a one hour time limit and I found out later our pirate room was hard difficulty in terms of complexity and length, so I think I did pretty good being it was the first time Id tried an escape room. Read full review at the end. Turns out we were very close to finishing and the people were very kind letting us complete the room. The look of everything, especially some of the props, looked genuine, and then I asked and found out the owners go through hard work searching for convincing as well as genuine period pieces from auctions and the like. Now thats some dedication, and it shows. Only complaint I have is that it was hot, and we learned after we couldve asked about getting the air turned up. I think thatd be a helpful thing to mention in case other people feel uncomfortable so they can have the best experience possible, as my sis and me were overheating and stopped thinking or feeling well at some point. While the building does appear old, the whole place was decorated and themed intricately, so they did very well with the space they have. Afterward, we went to the adjacent space which connects to it and it had a little ice cream shop with stuff they put together themselves there. It included themed treats based on the rooms available. That was tasty and a good end to the time there. Overall, this was a good experience that Id definitely like to try out again. It is a bit pricey, but Id say it was worth the price. The amount of details and clever puzzles along with the theming, acting, decorations and everything was complex. I cant begin to imagine how long it took to do just our room alone. If 4.5 were an option, Id put it, as its closer to a 5 with everything altogether. However, I need to be honest about the discomfort I felt from being too hot, thus leading to difficulty thinking and nausea for some time in the room. The people were kind and clearly passionate about what they did. Thank you for the nice time- this was a memorable day for us that we wont be forgetting anytime soon. :)

I only had the chance to do one room so far and it was a great time. Captain Antoine had a lot of passion which made the experience so much more fun. One of the managers, Brianna, took the time to give me a tour which was amazing; they offer a lot of fun things for the kids and have a beautiful tea room!

We consider ourselves seasoned escape room artists now. Each room we ve been to has been exciting, challenging and a just a wonderful time. The staff is amazing, they really make the experience one of kind. We recently did the birthday room for our son and his friends immediately wanted to go again. We ve brought additonal family with us for several rooms and it s always been a great time together. I highly recommend a visit- you ll be happily addicted!

My sister and I went to Escape In Time in Albuquerque and had a blast in the Pirate Themed Escape room. Some of the puzzles were relatively easy to figure out and some were very tricky. Not scary at all which my sister appreciated. This was her first time in a Escape Room and she really enjoyed it. It was a nice perk to be able to get ice cream after we finished the Escape Room. I recommend this place if you want to go to fun Escape rooms. We will very likely go again the next time Im in town.

Best Escape Room venue in Albuquerque! Locally owned with the nicest staff and owners around. They really try to make it an immersive experience and you can tell they re genuinely having fun with it. There s also an ice cream shop attached which only adds to the charm. 10/10 would recommend.

I truly have enjoyed the two times that I ve been there - once with a group of 12 adults+kids in the pirate room and once with a group of 4 adults in the Amazon room. I LOVE the people here and the level of personal flair that they add. To me, that s really what makes the experience above and beyond. I truly hope that this family run business continues to thrive!

We went here for a masquerade ball. Was well decorated lots of space for dancing and mingling meeting new people. They gave us foxtrot lessons I just really made it very enjoyable. Looking forward to experiencing one of the Escape rooms next time!

Very friendly staff and the puzzle for our escape room was super fun! My kids loved it! They are already planning their next adventure. Great family fun.

Spent a wonderful night with the family here. You can tell they are a very family friendly operation and truly tailored to our groups every need! We celebrated our daughters birthdays here and they made them feel like queens! Highly recommend for a group of energetic, fun-loving, adventurous kids! What a great experience! Our 7-year-old had a blast. I was very impressed by the customer service and communication. They did a wonderful job setting up the birthday table and the actors were terrific.

I ve been to multiple escape room companies, but this was by far the best. We had so much fun doing our first room, we immediately turned around and purchased another to do right after. The owners and game masters are so much fun and provided such an interactive and great experience. I will definitely be returning to do their other rooms and I can t recommend this company enough!

We did a birthday party here for our 7 year old and we thought it was the coolest birthday party ever. Id say that the clues were appropriate for kids up to 11 years old. The details that go into the story and the experience are above and beyond what Ive ever seen in any escape room for adults. They have two rooms for kids and we will be going back for future birthday parties.

Best local family oriented business in town. They have fun interactive escape rooms but also their own ice cream parlor, host parties, and so many fun events.

THE best escape room experiences I ve ever had. If you want a fresh take on how escape rooms should be done this is the place to be. You have unlimited hints, so you don t have to argue with that one stubborn team mate who won t let you guys get hints . The owners are wonderful cheerful and fun. The monitors (the people who watch your room) are always in character to keep you immersed along your adventure, kinda like having a narrator as you go. I have done 3/5 rooms here and every single one surprises me each time. PLUS they double as an ice cream parlor so when your adventure is over you can relax and talk about how your partner got lost or even trapped in the room! Amazing people, experience, money well spent.

Weve been here twice and truly enjoy the family atmosphere, service, and the excitement of solving puzzles. Were already booking our third experience and are thrilled to see our next challenge! Thank you for allowing us to Escape in Time!

We had an amazing time at the escape room! We did the Captain Morgan room and were just blown away by how much fun we had! Well worth the cost. The puzzles were so fun, the room was so well designed and exciting, and the live performance just made the whole experience AWESOME! We can t wait to come back and try out the other rooms! Such a great experience. I seriously couldn t believe how much fun we had!
